Why is no one talking about Trudeau's Tax Reform?

Why is no one talking about Trudeau's Tax Reform?

Trudeau is literally gonna crash this nation's economy with no survivors via his "tax reform" plan this January.

If anyone is interested I'll keep going on how and what and why.

Interested, but sharing sauce would be good.

Can you explain a little on what it is and why it will be damaging?

cbc.ca/radio/thecurrent/the-current-for-september-7-2017-1.4277291/how-proposed-changes-to-canada-s-tax-system-could-hit-small-business-1.4277391

Basically any source if you google "Small business tax changes".

With Trudeau's new tax reform, he's planning on hitting the "Wealthy Middle Class" who are taking advantage of perfectly legal systems previous gov't's set up to help small businesses.

If you have corporations set up by farmers and doctors and small business owners for their retirement, and then tax their corporation's savings account at 80%, an economic stagnation will occur.

To continue on it, farmers (I say farmers because many farmers incorporate their farm to create a savings account for their business) and small business owners can't even pass down their "businesses" to their children, even if they do a straw sale of $2. No, they have to get it appraised at the market price and sell it to their children for that price, and the profit of the sale will be taxed at near 80%.

Suddenly you're going to have a lot of businesses close down, a lot of doctors close down shop, farmers not farming anymore. Prepare, because this is the reality in the near future.

Jesus.
This is overwhelming faggotry.

My post or what Trudeau is planning on doing?

Thanks for the heads up.
I'd rather go to jail than pay this.

The proposed changes.
He's a lawless little traitor faggot that deserves death.

This is how the Soviet union basically functioned near the end of things.
>Doctors make no money
>Farmers make no money
>any capitalist is taxed >60%
At that point why work? If the garbage man is making as much or near a doctor, why go to school for 8 years and go half a million in debt?

>cbc.ca/radio/thecurrent/the-current-for-september-7-2017-1.4277291/how-proposed-changes-to-canada-s-tax-system-could-hit-small-business-1.4277391

>"Hopefully small business owners are in business because they think that they have a good product and a good service and they can make money selling that product and service, not because they think they can reduce their taxes."

IF THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS IT'S BECAUSE THEY JUST WEREN'T GOOD ENOUGH.

RIGHT GUYS?

Holy fuck. How many more years are we going to have to suffer this fucking manychild asshole's shitbrained policies?

See, here's the thing though. Even if you are to take all your money out, it won't matter. The bill, once confirmed in January, will be retroactive to July 2017, meaning that THEY WILL get your money, even if it means repossessing your house in order to obtain it. The CRA (Canadian Revenue Agency) are Trudeau's attack dogs in this entire scheme.

If this is defeated (which I doubt) as soon as you hear get your money out, because they will try again.

I knew Canada would collapse with all the retarded socialist policies but I didn't expect it to be soviet-tier so fast.

Oh you haven't seen anything yet. This is just a start of the things to come. What do you think is gonna happen when all the immigrants stop getting money because no one is working anymore?

Things seem lethargic and slow compared to Europe. Do you think we'll see action here?

how do i put a long term short on the CAD

how do i profit from the inevitable collapse

The only reason things seem lethargic and slow here is because of our population density, or lack thereof. Europe has an average pop. Density of about 143 peopler per square mile and Canada has one of about 3, that's why things seem so slow. It will speed up as more and more shit hits the fan here, but it will never reach the level that Europe will reach unless we start a Canadian Civil War.

I'm no fancy banker type, just a man screaming into the abyss about our future demise.

Obamaleaf probably approves of this.

But then again, the only normal, habitable regions are by the border. Up north, it's like trying to colonize fucking Mars.
A narrow strip really, the rest takes a chunk out of you if you want to live and work there.

We have a power base and infrastructure in Alberta; that's our territory.
I suggest making inroads with the natives to be able to train in their reservations in return for actual useful jobs, gear etc.
North Ontario is good but again harsh. GTA is a lost dystopia.
Quebec has potential because of its European-style national self-awareness.

The feds have the capability to keep the entire small population under surveillance. We will be facing hard crackdowns. Creating our power block within the prison system will be necessary.

If people really wanted to, 4-5 groups of 2 people with firearms could take down an entire city's electrical grid for a week. The reason why they don't and no one has is because there's nothing to gain from causing thousands to freeze in their homes, yet.

I suggest prepare for the harshest winter you can, and imagine you're going to do it without electricity. Because one day, that may be a very real possibility. And that day might be coming very soon.

Yes, we need to be aware of power grids and other infrastructure.

There's only so much you can survive. At the end of the day, we'll have to hug the border pretty tight because surviving a Canadian winter prepper-style is a really, truly bad proposition. Even the preppers themselves say this.

At thua stage we are being pushed out of society and need to busy ourselves with parallel structure for employment, communication, shelter and supplies.
Hell, there might be a parallel internet for ourguys.

ya where is that economic genius?

Why is no one talking about how Trudeau's dad was a kiddie diddler?

I have an easy tiem picturing impoverishment as a result of relentlessly naive decisions, but a hard time projecting how the hostilities will break out.
Again, in Europe a 5 year old with crayons can delineate the emerging battle lines. In Canada? I can't figure it out. Minorities are in their enclaves. Who will start attacking whom, and how?
It seems like ideological violence is the likeliest spark perhaps, antifa and other mindless instigators going overboard with rioting and a Maidan-type situation.
Maybe Quebec separatism?

>crash this nation's economy with no survivors
hopefully he does and we can make canada anglo again with no frenchies.

i don't know shit about canadian politics cause the more i learn the more angering it is, tell me

Are you sure the Frenchies are your biggest problem?

>[[[Trudeau]]]

He's thoroughly Anglo.

Your typical Ottawan bureaucrat SJW piece of shit.

Okay on one hand, this change will completely jump poverty rates, and all the joys of turning into a westernized Venezuela. On the other hand this would just accelerate the right-wing movement, and potentially lead to protests and or even civil war, depending on how many people this affects.

Fuck it, just make it happen at this point. This socialist shithole needs a wake up call and this may be it.

>I can't figure it out. Minorities are in their enclaves. Who will start attacking whom, and how?

My working theory is that the military/RCMP will come in long before anyone has the thought to even attack anyone else in the guise of some humanitarian cause, such as providing food aid to the inner city or helping in a natural disaster. Need I remind everyone of what happened during the Red River flooding?

cbc.ca/news/politics/rcmp-watchdog-raps-mounties-over-high-river-gun-seizures-during-2013-flood-1.2954483

I wonder who our real prime minister is. This substitute teacher isn't running fuck all. Just a pretty face for stupid bitches to throw votes at. Giving women the vote was a very poor decision.

The funny thing is, because what you are saying "agrees" with the hivemind everyone will just take your word for it.

Despite the fact that you are absolutely fucking wrong.

I mean just look at the post YOU linked

>In a nutshell, the tax plan takes on these three main areas:

>Income Sprinkling
>Income sprinkling allows business owners to lower their tax rate by splitting their income with family members in lower tax brackets.

>Capital Gains
>Another reform will target people who claim regular business income as capital gains which are taxed at a lower rate.

>Passive income
>Limiting so-called "passive investment income" which basically involves taking cash out of a business to invest in things like stocks or real estate, rather than reinvesting it in the company.

Oh look zero changes to the estate tax, you fucking mongrel
>waah I can't pay my wife a salary for her to do absolutely fucking nothing
>waah I can't cheat my taxes anymore by trickling it through capital gains
>waah I can't use my business as a tax free savings account

Are you one of (((them)))? Or are you just such a fucking bitch you have to blame your failure on the government?

>closing a tax loophole turns the country into Venezuela

Kill yourself

I'm listening, seen some stuff from friends about this. Can you give the tl;dr?

...

TL;DR: (((Small Business Owners))) claiming society will collapse UNLESS they can cheat the tax system.

Yes, very reasonable assumption.

Stop shilling, faggot.

Thanks!

Keep dreaming retards. Trudeau is making Canada Great Again.

>Unless we start a Canadian Civil War.
Who would've thought that the day of the rake would be started by leaves?

>imblying
You know how many doctors there are in Ontario?
>20,500 doctors out of ~30,000 have incorporated
What's gonna happen when those 20,500 doctors leave for another country to practice medicine because "fuck I'm not losing 80% of my money every year + all the money I've saved up from the past 20 years"?

I thought he was going to do more ridiculous things like gut TFSAs and raise tax rates on the middle class.

ottawasun.com/2017/07/24/reevely-feds-tax-crackdown-will-nail-ontario-doctors-and-cut-care-medical-association-warns

Forgot source for the 20,500 doctors

As usual, the shills are completely full of shit.

>Will it make it harder to pass on the family farm?

No, but it will make it harder to pass on other family businesses.

One of the ways the Liberal government says the tax system is unfair is that it currently allows a business owner, through a complicated set of transactions, to convert money in a company from a dividend to a capital gain, which has a lower rate of tax.

One of the unintended consequences of changing that rule, says Steinberg, is that it would treat leaving a family business to a family member as a dividend, and will thus be taxed at the much higher dividend tax rate.

Right now if a business owner wants to pass on a business to the next generation they can do it a few ways.

An owner can sell or give the business to the next generation. If they sell it then they have to pay capital gains tax. If they give it, their child has to pay capital gains tax. Either way there is a 27 per cent tax bill coming the family's way.

If the business owner instead decides to leave their company to a child in their will, the transaction is treated as though it were a sale. The child will still have to pay capital gains on the increased value of the business they now own. But the proposed rules would change that.

"Now the tax on death is not going to be 27 per cent, it's going to be 40 or 45 per cent," says Steinberg. "There's now a real hindrance to passing the business on to the second generation — you might as well sell it."

The proposed changes do not mention eliminating the qualified farm property transfer. The transfer allows a farmer to pass on a farm to a family member without incurring any tax penalty so long as the new owner does not sell the farm.

He cut taxes for the middle class.

liberal.ca/realchange/middle-class-tax-cut/

and raised taxes on those making over $220k

this

this

>tanks dollar from $1.00 to 70 cents
>it finally recovers to 83 cents after two years
>wow thank you based trudeau!

George Soros is the one running things

>>tanks dollar from $1.00 to 70 cents

Harper did that.

Fidel Castro?

>tax loophole closed
>civil war now reeeeee

Good goy!

Oh look, the 80% number comes out of fucking nowhere YET AGAIN.
But to answer your question, they won't leave. Because THEIR MONEY IS STILL THERE AND THEY STILL HAVE VERY WELL PAYING JOBS. Oh and they would have to immigrate to another country which takes a long fucking time and is very hard and expensive, even if you are a doctor.

I mean here's a hot tip on how to not cheat your taxes. Pay yourself a fucking salary like literally every other business out there. Was that hard? Oh no you can't have that, you're (((special))) and don't DESERVE to pay taxes.

Fuck off with your bullshit entitlement.

Look it. I'm going to lay it out for you really simply... How many immigrants does Argentina get? How many people willingly move to Portugal? Does Vietnam have a problem with illegal immigration?

Our economy is our strength and our weakness. It's a curse as well as a blessing.

If you want to stop the flood... You kill that fucking economy dead. No one will come here if there's nothing to exploit. I welcome the collapse.

Even automation would become economically unfeasible.

Here's the official Parliamentary petition against the changes:

petitions.ourcommons.ca/en/Petition/Details?Petition=e-1239

>supporting the destruction of the middle class
nah I think you're the one that needs a rope and a tall tree syrup faggot

>I wonder who our real prime minister is
Gerald Butts

Daily reminder that this guy is a faggot leaf and all taxation is theft. It is tge responsibility of every right minded Canadian to minimise his tax burden to hasten the collapse of their commie government.

>80%

Jesus fucking christ, what is next, the "children's candy appropriation act"?

Another Parliamentary petition to extend the consultation period beyond the 75 days starting back in July:

petitions.ourcommons.ca/en/Petition/Details?Petition=e-1249

Most of our immigrants are not of the jungle ape variety. They'll probably pick up stakes and go home.

fucking shills trying to keep their tax loopholes

He's a DISASTER. We have to vote him out AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

You guys are fucking retarded and I will personally kill you both if you start fucking around with my shit.

already here bitches

im all for cutting out fucking (((tax loopholes)))

u shills are always on the wrong side

i've already made my mark in this thread

>I didn't expect it to be soviet-tier so fast.

Nigga, they have literal social justice tribunals

You don't need that moron to tell you Trudeau is looming for ways to pay down that deficit since Hillary Clinton won't be able to bail him out with the anticipated globalist fuck scheme.

Trudeau's deficit is 1% of GDP, ~$20 Billion a year, fucking peanuts, why r u retards always splerging like it's the end times

isn't it like $50bn you nigger

iirc he quadrupled it within a few months after taking office

he is also rapidly breaking a shitton of his economic promises, primarily with taxes and spending

he's economically and financially illiterate and got in because, despite his general pussiness, he makes women wet with his attractiveness.

Where is the 80% tax rate coming into the equation? I didn't see it anywhere.

for the love of fucking god please dont respond to that retarded turbo autist. you may as well nuke the thread now

This user has it right

I never got the mentality off taxing the rich more.
"You're successful? That isn't fair. Gib."

There will not be a civil war you dumb fuck.

u really need to stop getting your news from Sup Forums

right wing retards just made it up

John McCallum. He's pretty much the only high ranking politician left over from the Paul Martin government with a cabinet position .

>good goy

Canada is the fastest growing economy in the G7. Delete this.

Ralph Goodale?

McCallum is not even in the Cabinet anymore is he. I thought he's an envoy to China.

Canada Tops Consensus With 4.5% Second-Quarter GDP Growth -- Update
foxbusiness.com/features/2017/08/31/canada-tops-consensus-with-4-5-second-quarter-gdp-growth-update.html

>Ralph Goodale
lol no

Okay then, what is the actual number if 80% is made up? It's one thing to refute 80%, but another to prove it wrong.
Just looking for the truth here.
(Half-leaf here, so it's relevant)

Income has diminishing returns.

$1000 means more to someone who earns $10k versus someone who earns $100k.

Also, someone who earns more is more dependent on society operating effectively, they have more to lose if everything goes to shit.

>Income sprinkling allows business owners to lower their tax rate by splitting their income with family members in lower tax brackets.

According to Canadian tax code, you need to be able to prove reasonably that your spouse/family members who you are income sprinkling with are actually part of your business. Talk to any small business owner. Chances are, their spouse is involved to some degree the operations of the business, whether it is doing minor administrative work or being a full on part of the job. As well, what if the husband owns and operates a small business, while the wife stays home and takes care/watches the children and household? Should this family not be given a break? If you say otherwise, you're part of the reason the nuclear family is dying in North America.

>Another reform will target people who claim regular business income as capital gains which are taxed at a lower rate.

Claimed as dividends which allow higher tax deductions and thus higher take home pay versus salary, but it's marginally higher at best. However, using dividend capital gains means you are not paying into your RRSP unlike salary. Essentially giving the option to earn a higher take home pay now but leave less for retirement later on, giving the option to those who plan on creating enough wealth for themselves that they can retire without having to withdraw from an RRSP and pay an exorbitant tax amount.

>Limiting so-called "passive investment income" which basically involves taking cash out of a business to invest in things like stocks or real estate, rather than reinvesting it in the company.

Investing in stocks/mutual funds/real estate/whatever helps keep small businesses afloat during economic downturns by diversifying their economic portfolio. By using capital earned during good times and converting it into secure and stable investments businesses can endure through periods of lackluster performance.

Because deficit spending is bullshit, you fucking retard.

You said.

>He's pretty much the only high ranking politician left over from the Paul Martin government with a cabinet position .

McCallum is not in Cabinet. He's the Ambassador to China.

Ralph Goodale was Paul Martin's Finance Minister. Doesn't get much more high ranking.

Trudeau is a globalist piece of shit. But like Obama did for the U.S, he's red pilling Canadian at a record pace. 2019 will be a blood bath and hopefully the leaf will get their own Canadian version of Trump.

They're just cutting out a few technical loopholes.

cbc.ca/news/politics/liberal-tax-proposal-questions-1.4282157

How's NZ half-leaf bro?

are you fucking kidding? What a cunt - especially as his vote benefited at least in part from nostalgia-fags that liked his Daddy. Didn't have to have his fucking brand appraised.

I'm not saying Ralph is in charge. Trudeau is. I'm just going by what u said.

>$1000 means more to someone who earns $10k versus someone who earns $100k.
And?

>Also, someone who earns more is more dependent on society operating effectively, they have more to lose if everything goes to shit.
Please prove this.

see

The CBC is funded by our tax money. They do not get any advertiser funding from clicks.

I'm far from any sort of shill. I agree the groupthink/hivemind and over-exaggeration on this board is almost unbearable, but you don't need to be any sort of tax professional to see this for what it is.

Make no mistake, those who are truly part of Canada's 1% (or higher) won't be affected by this. The truly rich can afford to hire lawyers and accountants to dream up every little actual loop hole possible to keep the government's hands off of their money. Small business owners who are employing less than 20 certainly cannot.

Trudeau himself even used the phrase "Someone earning $50,000 should not be paying more taxes than someone earning $250,000", which has been continually proven by Canadian chartered tax professionals to be complete bullshit and impossible by the Canadian tax code. It's all a big shot to the gut to small business owners in Canada.

This.

Yeah, nah... It's a bullshit number. Small business with a take home profit of a mere $250,000 or more per year are using their minor lobbying power to throw a shit fit... They were oddly silent when family income splitting was taken away. Fuck these guys. It's purely enlightened self interest.

Losing family income splitting took me from getting a $2,400 tax return last year to having to pay the government $316 dollars this year.

While it's true that the government is nickle and diming us to death, I really have no sympathy for these people... They shouldn't be getting benefits like this if their employees don't.

I think that Trudeau's (((agenda))) is pretty obvious. With such a (((mentor))). What a fucking tool this guy is. Canadians need to wake the fuck up, and soon. Their country is being sold to China and foreign investors.
