Fairly accurate I suppose but it is a rejection of systems which originated in India, instead of being something which occurred when it traveled outside. Buddhism is distinctly more "peaceful", I suppose you could say, than things like Islam and others when it largely rejected the eating of meat and such. It has explicit doctrines of non-violence while I don't know of any such things in Abrahamic religions.
