Saint Martin has been hit by Irma recently. Saint Martin is a French Island next to Porto Rico.
When the governments learned about Irma, they started to use Boats, Planes and Trains to evacuate their populations.
Americans flew St Martin, everybody basically, but the French government completely abandoned its people. Plane Tickets went from 300€ to 6000€, and people had to pay to get out of the island. Minimum wage is 990€ iirc, the ticket was 6000€.
So, now, people start uploading videos on Facebook. One was saying : We had to form a militia of 20 persons and we had to keep shooting all night just to stop them from attacking. Another one said she witnessed a guy getting shot dead because he wouldn't get out of his car.
French TV is talking about 15 corpses, but one hospital is already at 500 corpses and the ocean throws bodies on the beach all the time.
French government sent 40 (fourty) SWAT (GIGN) guys on the Island and 200 soldiers, but they are not doing anything because 240 soldiers can't shoot down thousands of looters.
When people ask for help, soldiers say : "If you, your father or your grand father had weapons, go get em, and shoot on sight. If you see a looter, shoot on sight, you're on your own, we can't help."
I'm not here to cry, (Fuck this island, I don't give a fuck, France is Montmartre, Paris and Quimper, not that monkey filled) I'm here to inform.
