I was raised Christian and I agree with what it teaches for the most part but there are things like baptism or original sin that,make no sense to me. So god is infinitely wise, but still has us be born from sin? And furthermore I don't understand how being born is a sin, it is beautiful and literally the most natural thing possible.

I don't think church going should go hand in hand with faith. In the bible it says faith in god and good works toward fellow humans is all that is needed to be close to God. The good works part isn't even definite depending on scholarly view.
I have never been church going aside from when i was a kid, I've been spiritual only as an adult and tried to be a good person to others that was as far as i went. This past year i have had unexplainable things happen that have led me closer to god and to study the bible. I read in the bible that the basic argument between God and satan that led to this all is satan told god people wouldn't love him just for giving them life, they would want everything from him and would hate him essentially if they didn't get it. God said not true people would love him anyway and this is where we are at.
Over a year ago i was being economically persecuted by political enemies. had to shut business down and lay low on dreams for awhile. I was pretty angry at life and the injustice, but at the same time was so grateful for my family and everything i was naturally given. I thanked god for giving me everything i needed to succeed in life, acknowledged it was my fault if i failed anywhere but thanked him for life anyway as it was beautiful (it was a beautiful day, so easy to see the beauty around me). Ever since then things have been happening to me, like little messages i can't just write off as chance or convenient timing. So weird but i try not to let bias, fear or ego play a part in my perception...i take it as it comes.

Its what happened to me until I became sick of the garbage of our culture and was drawn back to the moral foundation my parents and the church instilled in me when I was younger. I was blessed to find myself back in church after everything I've succumbed to.
All you can do is encourage your friends to come to church with you and pray that God draws them to him. But I believe the stage is currently being set for the end and a Christian majority is unfortunately not going to last into the end times.
