Well, since GT is complete and it was nothing short of completely wasted potential...I'd say its worse. Super might still pull something fun to watch...eventually.

I have never seen GT but there is no fucking way it could be worse than super. Animation could not get any worse than that.
It had a few QUALITY moments but even the QUALITY is better than Supers normal animation.
The movie arcs were terrible, but after that Super has been fun
I've yet to see an element that I enjoyed in Super and might as well drop it at this point. There were some moments in GT that I enjoyed even if the overall series was horrible
GT at least had good music and sometimes good animation.

Because in 少年 anime, you must constantly power up, no exceptions. The easy button for showing a powerup, when you literally can't show them getting any more powerful in ability alone (They can already blow up planets and shit), is a transformation.
Think about it. EVERY anime ever has some kind of transformation to show a power boost.
It's fucking stupid.
The problem isn't that there's transformations, it's that the transformations suck.

Super still has a sense of humor and remembers characters besides Goku exist.
Both aren't very good at all but Super does a better job at feeling like a proper continuation of Dragon Ball than GT ever did.
And more importantly Supers expanded universe and cast gives the new Dragon Ball games a lot of cool content to work with that GT really didn't.
