They are the youngest

Lazy ingrates with a "me" complex and a liberal arts degree.

>mfw according to this graph there are people my age doing worse than i am

Most millennial lack character and they also major in worthless degrees that would only guarantee them a job in McDonalds and Home Depot.

Only rural and suburban millennials earn little.

The ultra high IQ millennials on the coasts are making bank.

As a Mainer, I can tell you. There are no Millennials here. All the 'smart' ones moved to places with better industry and better jobs. The ones that are still here are here because they can't afford to leave, have kids out of teen pregnancy, or feel like, "well, my family never left, why should I?"
Maine is a void for Millennials. Unless you land a high paying sales job in the most affluent company in the state. Like me.

>If millennials are the most educated generation, why do they earn so little?
Checked.
Because while they technically are the most college educated generation, a gender studies degree from a liberal arts college doesn't mean shit outside their fantasy land of tolerance.
I myself find it fucking hilarious to be honest.

>tfw 24 and considered middle class

Feels meh

I was born in 1995, stopped going to school basically in 8th grade. Now make double my state's median income for my age.

Feels good.

What is your line of work, and what state?

Wasting time on the pop-media part of the internet.

Unless you run your own business I doubt anyone would hire you without a GED.

I repair assembly line machines for Ford Motor Company. Welding and such.
Kentucky. Last year was 45k

Drug dealer?

Yeah, "education" tends not to be

Also. Holy shit. I make alone over twice media.
Damn.
Take that people who said I should go to college.

>millennials most 'diverse' population ever
>makes little money

really makes you think

That's good work. Dangerous, though, and bad for your health, overall. Consider alternatives for your long-term health if able. Shoot for foreman or something.

Hire older people
Replaced by machines
Replaced by minorites
Replaced by foreigners

No tax cuts when you hire local

I omitted not only my race in my application but also my level of education. I have a GED now. But l was on the assembly line at 18 with no prior proof of intelligence. Beyond the ford literacy test we all had to do. During the hiring process.

>be me ca 2014
>freaking out because $3500 wasted on school that im quitting
>now
>6 figures in the bank
feels silly but good. fuck ''''education'''', nepotism is where the money is

What's a good way to learn to weld so I can do stuff on my jeep. Classes or just YouTube that shit?

It is good work. I initially, as a young kid, simply wanted to work in a factory. Thought l fucked myself up by not finishing school. Maybe l just slipped through the big business cracks. But lve got a house now!

What's your line of work?

Good on you, Satan. Yeah, butter up the upper management and become foreman and get out of the fumes and backbreaking labor and earn yourself an even larger paycheck, and probably better benefits. Good luck, user.

Wait wait wait.
I come from a middle-class background. MOST people I know make at least twice the median for my state.
My household is double income and we both make six figures.
Most people I know majored in the fine arts.

HOW IS THAT THE FUCKING MEDIAN? HOW DUMB ARE YOU ASSHOLES?

Hobbyist welding videos are good. Also go out and buy a welder and save scrap metals.
I couldnt weld before l got my job but seeing the millwrights at work doing fucking nothing and getting paid? Made me want to do it. Shit. Im on the job now.

Alright, seattlite here. Recently went to a party with a bunch of millenial college grads. I'm getting too old for this shit, so I said what men of my generation would say as ice breakers, "so, what do you do?" Of the 14 people I asked, one was a dental hygienist, one did street work, one worked at a Taco Time, and 11 of them were unemployed, but 10 of those 11 said they had an immediate plan to "launch a startup", of those 10, only 1 actually had an idea they wanted to execute.
Then they prattled on about climate change, universal basic income and automation.

Not all Millenials
I went to Linemen school straight out of high school. I'm a 24 year old journeyman now making 48 and hour, 80k a year give or take. I know guys who are bringing back power in Texas making $100+ an hour. Millennial's are scared of trades. Most would rather get some worthless degree they think will land them a job or choose a field that's too competitive. University students working at Starbucks is not a meme

Is this before or after the gubment steals your money?

I'm making about $32k and idiots I graduated with are making more than me doing construction and shit. What the hell?

he's one of those Chosen bankers

>double
>40k

lol

Heard. Will do

None of this is helpful.

businessinsider.com/millennial-median-wage-map-2015-12/#georgia-11

When you compare the average incomes vs the millennial incomes you get an average of about .65. The range varies froma bout .6 to .75. What this chart should say is "average income of part time employees" Some states are just poor and some states just need less money to live in

because the economy is stagnant

if new jobs don't open up it doesn't matter what credentials you have

What if we archive that
unvis.it/businessinsider.com/millennial-median-wage-map-2015-12/#georgia-11

I was gonna say I was making good money by comparison to this chart, then I realized I'm making exactly the average after taxes.

I fucking hate myself

BOOMERS

NORDBRO!!!
It's been awhile since I've seen you
I thought you'd ascended into heaven

Bad monetary policy. Absurdly Low interest rates fucked a generation of people

>construction
>after age 40

Sure they make good money now but unless they go back to school they will not advance much further and they will hit either the technology brick wall or the age brick wall

You archive seeds on Svalbard, you archive URLs online

This makes my head spin.
I cannot understand someone jobless in Seattle's economy. All you need is a direction and some sort of drive and you can get a job there.

>What's a good way to learn to weld

Topkek.

I had classes in welding, woodworking, and auto mechanics in high school.
Also learned the basics of EE, plumbing, and HVAC from the same instructors as extra-curricular classes.

Cityfags get fucked on basic education.

construction

>y-youll destroy your body !
dont listen to those fags; sweating in the sun is better for your body than office shit

I think one of them said he was in a band, but I counted him among the unemployed.

>All you need is a direction and some sort of drive
>Millennials

Pick one.

As a Mainer I can also attest to this, Maine absolutely sucks donkey dick for well paying jobs. Unless you go Portland and South and even then why work there when Massachusetts and NH are in same driving distance and give better wages.

Making over 3 times then average making beer

Does this count in lost wages due to student loan repayments? $21k? Shit son, that's my take-home pay. Maybe it's a curse or blessing that I work at Walmart, though 12 years is a long time at one place for such little growth ($4 overall wage increase over that time).

Best industries in NH?

Really makes me think.

idk. I was born in June of 1995, so I guess I'm apart of that generation. I'm making 60k. maybe it's because they should of been aborted, but their parents were to dumb to realise it.

Is your state full of niggers?

This can't be right. Can you even survive in America with less than $2,000 a month?

Absolutely not.

>If millennials are the most educated generation, why do they earn so little?

The Federal Reserve Banking system is literally designed as a wealth siphoning system.

Satan, I would take God's advice if I were you

>Can you even survive in America with less than $2,000 a month?

If you're a Millennial, absolutely not.
>Starbucks bill: minimum of 2x Superspecialuniqueachinos per day at $5 each. $3650 per year
>4x Panera sammiches per day @ $10 per sammich. $14,600 per year
>2x donations to GoFundMe per week for tranny faggots who were deadnamed by their Satanic parents. $5200 per year
>6x $15/Gigabyte for excess shitposting past your 10Gb data plan every month. $1080 per year
>Craft Beer: $3600 a month. $43,200 per year
>Sleeping in your Prius every night: priceless.

kek I'm in Gen Z and make just about this much a year while going to college full time what a bunch of fucking cucks

Nevada is only high because 18-24 year old stripper sluts make good money.

Nevada is high because of all the mining jobs

Because the work force is still designed to reward the "PULL YERSELF UP BY YER BOOTSTRAPS" crowd. Give the markets time to evolve, once machines start replacing farming, fast food, construction, etc, all that grunt labor, everyone will be clamoring desperately for education in the liberal arts.

I'm sorry but even if you go full illegal alien budget and live like a medieval serf you're still not living off of that.

Nepotism really is the name of the game atm. Why jews always have good ass jobs.

>tfw small family with no connections

I'm 24 and make $50K

My whole life I've been told how 45-50K is mediocre and for people who didn't go to college, but everyone I know is paid hourly working fucking retail and the service industry.

fucking this
nepotism/degrees/certificates is the only way

higher education no longer correlates with having a successful career.

I'm close to $50k doing manual labor.

Went to college, questioned if it was the right thing to do when I was hearing about H-1B bullshit, then quit after seeing my school's placement rate.

They're all directionless faggots who thought they'd go to college, and turned their noses up at the trades.
Of my 2008 graduating class I know 1 who works in the skilled trades.
The rest work service industry.
Maybe 4 successfully made it through college.
2 are in post graduate programs.
Another dozen are still working on undergrad.
And about a half dozen or so went military,

The vast majority went to some college, dropped out, and wound up in service industry or entry level tier work.
I know people still selling phones at the mall, still working at target, still waiting tables. None of them have degrees they just never got their life together.
Shit I'm still in uni and the best pay I've ever found was 25000 a year including shift differential.
There are no jobs anymore that pay anything decent to anyone who isn't a fucking engineer or a welder.

theres some truth to that
the tech industry is a lost cause, they only hire you so you can later train an indian to replace you

Because college kids with no income are included in this stat. Other reason would be women going to college and majoring in psychology, women's studies, and other non-applicable liberal arts bullshit

If 4 people from your entire high school class made it through college in 9 years, you have the most retarded classmates in American history

You have to remember with charts like these that the living costs are much different.

My home state of WI you can live pretty easy off of 20k (no major debt that is)

But say if you were in Cali making 21.9k, you'd have a very rough time making payments.

Useless degrees as a Womens studies are booming.

Because boomers are cancer.

>Montana

What went wrong?

because they're young and haven't yet had the chance to develop any kind of human capital. Think about it - who's going to earn more, a twenty-six year old who's been in college for the past 8 years, or a 50-year old who's been working since they were 18? Which one is going to have more valuable skills, allowing for the two people being in the same industry?

The lowest income brackets are overwhelmingly made up of younger people who don't have any skills yet. A they develop their skills, their income rises and soon they become the people that the younger generation bitches about.

They're going to college, and then coming out into the real world and realizing that college doesn't really mean anything anymore. Also feels good to know that I make like 2.5x as much as these millenials pretty much everywhere in the country

millennials dont have the chance to get land as cheap as it was 50 years ago. either you have a good family or your a college puppet.

>dropped out of school in 8th grade
>got my GED
>make 100k per year as an electrician

Lol I have literally fucked off and had a party for most of my life and still came out on top

Perhaps you guys should be more alpha

millenials get hold down by boomers because they so smart and in the same time we have to bow down to the gen z masterrace figet spinner retards.i know deep down we millenials are the masterrace.and i know you do too.

Because they are lazy as fuck.

There is an old repairer villager of Turkey migrated to USA.

Has skills of repairing electronical devices, plumbering, painting houses.

Dude's been making shitloads of money, enough to make him go crazy and welcome the day with wine every single day.

youtube.com/watch?v=hjX0DvLStwY

Dude only thinks of drinking wine and fucking american women. While millenials only think of being lazy, demanding handouts and masturbating to cuck-porn.

in my opinion most millennials have hard working parents who probably didnt have the money to go to college but made enough to put their kids through it, to have their kid get fucked up every night in a dorm room probably blacked.

>art degree
>education

What a glorious thought.

>women in college
most of them go for nursing degrees
they are mainly there to meet guys AKA "explore their sexuality" until they lock down a beta in their 30s

agreed

20k?

That can't be right

>Social autist
>Don't have a car so my family saves money
>College was basically go to class, go home and play videogames
>Decent GPA Econ degree with Polsci double major because it was easy to tack on.
>No car meant no internship
>No internship means no interviews
>Econ degree says I need to go to trade school now after wasting 4 years trying to get one of a few thousand analyst positions competed over by a hundred thousands grads and boomers.

Anyone know of weird autistic jobs with decent pay? Like working at a morgue or doing shit in third world countries?

$43,000 in DC

How is it I'm above all and I'm a millennial??

Why are people my age so fucked in the head that they just want gibs for doing fuck all?

>Anyone know of weird autistic jobs with decent pay?
freelance programming
you literally don't have to get up from your computer or ever leave your house

doesn't get more autistic than that

i think this is for part time jobs, not full time

>how is it
idk you gave us very little information to answer your retarded question. degree? cert? huge network? luck? rich parents?

a year?

I've looked into it and I would need a year or two of grinding out coding textbooks and tutorials to get up to speed, and my parents would almost assuredly bust my balls for not even "bringing income" while i do it. I know enough to day trade crypto so i just need money dirty and fast that i can start flipping.

No degree, didn't even finish high school.
No network
Poor parents

Could be luck.

I'm in IT so that could be a help although I'm only a tech

I should of said eariler that I'm from Australia. and most jobs like this pay about $30/hr at least

DC has a large black population
IT is in high demand there since most blacks dont know shit about IT

TFW I hang from ropes like a retard and look at MeMes all day.

24 60k a years on a semi slow year.

Monopolistic Corporate Neo-Feudalism

But even still, about half the milennial population in AUS probably doesn't work but goes to Uni or TAFE (trade college). My cousin is a plumber and he's on at least $50/hr. If he worked every week day + Saturday + overtime, he'd clear $3000 a week
