America guarantees the right to pursue happiness-

but does not guarantee food and shelter...how can one pursue happiness
while starving and homeless?

Get a damn job you lazy cunt

>life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness

>leaf

You have to be beyond retarded to be so underproductive that you can't eat. The system we have is pretty rigged but using the
>muh starvin in duh streets
argument is retarded. 5th grade tier rhetoric

>>life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness
Action requires food. Pursue involves action. Pursue requires food.

Food is cheaper than ever nigger. If you are that poor go on EBT and get your $300/week

Eat your own shit, sleep on your own shit, build a house out of your own shit.

you have the right to forage/hunt for food without permit if you are hungry, plus like 25% of americans are given free food in the form of food stamps/ebt

you want the government to pay for your happiness too?

Obtaining food and shelter is part of the pursuit of happiness.

Just as the outcome of happiness is not guaranteed, neither are food and shelter, though you are free to pursue both in your quest for hapiness.

>Food is cheaper than ever nigger. If you are that poor go on EBT and get your $300/week
According to the US government, food must be desirable, lest one is impoverished.

>(((Pursuing happiness)))

>Obtaining food and shelter is part of the pursuit of happiness.

We are supposed to be thankful for basic human rights?...
Perhaps you should thank me for not stealing the thins you 'own.'

>paying money so that someone else can stay alive and reproduce

Maximum cuck.

First, the pursuit of happiness and happiness are two very different things and this is very important to remember. Second, happiness can take many different forms at different times and in different situations.
>how can one pursue happiness while starving and homeless
If -- when starving and homeless -- happiness is a hot meal and a warm bed, then the pursuit of that meal and that bed is the pursuit of happiness.

kys brainlet

basic human rights are the most expensive part of living

also "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" is written in the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution or the Bill of Rights

How can someone claim to be pursuing happiness at all if they can't clothe and feed themselves?

No, I am thankful that the Founders created a system that allows me to fail or succeed largely based upon my merit and work ethic with relatively little interference in my life by the government. Of course this is becoming less and less the case with each passing year as the Federal government, regulations, taxes, and entitlements grow (i.e. socialism).

I don't want anything from anybody except the freedom to pursue my goals Whether I succeed or not is mostly up to me.

freedom can be extreme, volatile, and dangerous, but also the most rewarding

cradle to grave socialism is a lot safer, but also stifling

I'll take the open wilderness over a gilded cage any day.

Assuming that you pay taxes, why do you think that I deserve a piece of your paycheck just because I happen to be alive at the same time as you?
