I was there when this video was entered into the 1999 Anime Expo music video contest. A friend and I entered our own music video. But the contest that year was trying a new system where the people who made the music videos voted for the one they wanted to win. And it was a spectacular mess. This video got some of the loudest applause, but I think it lost to a really shitty 'Slim Shady' Eva video. And ours was disqualified for being too long.

The dub had excellent comic timing. Sana's voice alone was convincing on so many levels; sarcasm and 11-year old hysteria are done especially well.
Kodocha is the one anime that always puts a smile on my face, even as an adult.
