WHERE ARE LADDER JOKES?

Non-existent

Just like Penny.

Bad news

The anime is confirmed to have 24 episodes instead of 25/26

PANIC

...

They must be cutting DL-6 down to two days like the later games.

Updated Episode List

Ep 1: The First Turnabout
Ep 2-4: Turnabout Sisters
Ep 5-7: Turnabout Samurai
Ep 8-12: Turnabout Goodbyes
Ep 13: The Lost Turnabout
Ep 14-16: Reunion, and Turnabout
Ep 17-19: Turnabout Big Top (whether you like it or not)
Ep 20-24: Farewell, my Turnabout

>panic
I'm sure no one will miss this show.

But that's not Farewell, My Turnabout.
Although 1-4 is pretty close. And it's going to have 5 episodes?

>no Rise From the Ashes

But why

Too out of place.

Lotta worst girl.

>Ep 17-19: Turnabout Big Top (whether you like it or not)
>3 episodes.
Fuck you and fuck that clown.

Moe is moe

>defense sometimes has to stop the judge from banging the hammer before the defense has even been heard
>prove that key witnesses are full of shit
>prove that key evidence is misleading
>judge is STILL ready to declare the defendant guilty
>in order to get a not guilty verdict, need to not only demonstrate that the defendant probably didn't do it (as compared to simply planting a seed of reasonable doubt),but need to identify the actual guilty party as well as how they committed the crime right down to the last detail
>fail to do the above, and the defendant gets declared guilty

>court is sometimes bullied by criminals
>both sides deliberately hide evidence from each other; face no penalty for doing so
>detectives only cooperate with the prosecution

Does Ace Attorney have the worst court system ever?

Her or Windy Oldbag.

Why the fuck does anybody like those two characters, again? They're the last characters that should be reoccurring.

It's a parody of the japanese court system. Shit's bad.

They're annoying but the case will be good if they're in it.

Not because of them. Cases become worse when you have to deal with their shit.

Still, they're known for appearing in good/great cases. The only bad case was the theme park in Investigations.

30 minutes

15 minutes

In all fairness to Gumshoe he does cooperate with you as much as he's allowed to, especially in the later games.

guilty until proven innocent

IT'S TIME

>series gets announced
>hopes raise for Phoenix/Maya doujins
>remember that there is an actual fat pervert within the show
I can feel the doujins of Sal raping Maya being drawn at this very moment.

>allowed to

This is exactly what I was pointing out.

The games make it clear that the prosecution is basically running the police force and is trying to control what evidence the defense is allowed to see. This is especially bad because of the inherent rivalry between the police and the defense attorneys who are essentially there to undo all of their hard work. The police should be legally obligated to make all evidence related to the case available to the defense, and attempts to hide evidence from the defense should be viewed as malfeasance or perverting the course of justice.

Damn, they're making Oldbag likeable with these new scenes.

I pretty sure I have seen one before
search "shimensoka"

That was fast.

Edgeworth please.

>Literally BTFO

Dee Vazquez BTFO Literally

Unnecessary Feelings

I liked it.

>Oldbag and Gumshoe watching together
>Edgeworth watching Pink Princess
>Cody hanging out with Phoenix and Maya

Good episode.

>Lotta confirmed

Fuck

Worst girl next week. Are you ready for her theme?

>Lotta and Larry in the same episode
Prepare for the shit start.

Never mind, the blu-ray box said that the first game will cover 13 so.

Ep 1: The First Turnabout
Ep 2-4: Turnabout Sisters
Ep 5-7: Turnabout Samurai
Ep 8-12: Turnabout Goodbyes
Ep 13: Filler
(Skip Lost Turnabout since T&T won't be adapted)
Ep 14-16: Reunion, and Turnabout
Ep 17-19: Turnabout Big Top (whether you like it or not)
Ep 20-24: Farewell, my Turnabout

FUCK

I take it that everybody dropped this?

I'm basically watching it because it's there.

Are you guys ready for second worst girl?

I get this weird pleasure from watching my favorite series being so horribly raped.

I really tried to but I just can't proceed with the anime. The court proceedings are so fucking bad.

The premise and format only works as a game, definitely not as an anime.

Was this scene in the episode?

There's a connection between Yui and Maya

Did the show improve after episode 1? It was so fucking bad I instantly dropped it but I like AA games so I'm considering trying this again

Why is it this anime that's always at least an hour late on HS?

...

I guess they are waiting for the memesubs. I checked half an hour ago and only the german subs had memes but now the memesubs are out for all the languages, HS should be out any second now.

...

Huh, today's episode was set literally today (May 14th 2016). Nice coincidence.

It's gone from awful to tolerable.

The episode was good.

>HS kept the "Verily! I say... Ergo!" line
Damn, the translator must be going through the episodes with game in hand.

They did it

Why people hate this show again?

The premise of the game is very hard to translate into anime.

But the writers are doing a good job. It's the QUALITY that's unfortunate.

That and the music choice.

Damn, they made this episode give me hope for the next case. The next 3-4 weeks are gonna be gold.

>Turnabout Samurai is better in the anime than the game.

What happened, Sup Forums?

The music really makes me want to replay the games but it just won't be the same as the first time.

The prosecutor can oversee investigation in the Japanese court system and the defendant's chance of getting convicted is absurdly high.

Reducing it from three days to two and thus making Oldbag and Cody way less annoying.

Best boy.

>No annoying fetch quest
>No padding
>Oldbag and Cody likeable
>Removing useless characters L33T director and Penny

They did something right for once

Wh-what happened!? All of a sudden the quality increased tenfold!

Best tsundere.

why would they give goodbyes 5 episodes? or make a filler episode? I think it's pretty clear there's room to adapt rise from the ashes at this point if the bluray says the first game covers 13 episodes

There's no way they can squeeze RftA in three episodes unless they heavily cut it down. Although I guess they could, a lot of it was pure misdirection.

Oldbag did nothing wrong.

Not tenfold, but it's slowly becoming one step above average vidya adaptations.

Oldbag was the best part of the case adaptation.

Hope they make Lotta like that.

Shame they didn't hinted at Dee Vazque's motive for blackmailing Hammer in the first place like in the game. (It was implied that the guy Hammer kill by accident is her lover and she hold a grudge against him). That and the fact that she accept her defeat rather gracefully make her a villain with more dimensions than someone like Sahwit or that guy from JFA's 1st case. Instead they try to turn that brat into some sort of inspiration figure. Meh.

So which do you think will be better: the first game's final case twist or the second game's final case twist?

OC

Is it too late to pick this up?

Animeonlyfag here
Farewell or Goodbye which one is better and why?
Goodbye seems to be about Edgeworth. What about Farewell?

Anime is noot really popular though so forget about it
Most went to Kabaneri I'd guess

If you mean anime, no, they just found their footing and they are just getting to the best stuff game has to offer.

If you mean games, no, it's never late to pick up this great series.

desu fammo wammo the second game last trial dragged on which made it unenjoyable for me. Not to mention the twist wasn't that great, so I'd give it the the first game last trial on best twist compared to both fo them.

It actually has the same average household rating as Dragon Ball Super.

The Judge is moe.

Depends on your taste.

Goodbyes is the exact point when everybody forgot about AA's courtroom's flaws and embraced the ridiculous and were blown away by great writing and great plot twists. Great story, too, it's always sad to me when fujoshits misinterpret it incorrectly.

Farewell My Turnabout is more about Phoenix, but at the same time it's a bigger comment on justice as a whole. With keeping spoilers to a minimum, Phoenix will be in constant battle against himself during that trial because he was knowing what to do, but he wasn't allowing himself to do it.

Thanks

>fujoshits
They are insects that ruin every field they make their ways in.

If they can make Oldbag likeable, I bet they can make the circus actually good.

These games do not translate to anime well.

I will never understand their immense autism.

>Prosecution and defense walking around courtroom, making points and having physical evidence
>Likable Cody and Oldbag
>Delicious Christmas cakes among spectators (excluding Oldbag)
>All important parts from the games intact
>Dee Vasquez being a babe
Actually, I feel like in the games Dee admitted her guilt with much more dignity, wish they didn't cut that out. But what the fuck is going right with this?

I now realise how much this is stepping on my nerves. I don't know what reasonable doubt is: the anime.

Also hiding someone you killed in self-defence was retarded.

Apollo Justice, most polarizing title, has tackled that issue, actually. However, if the goal in the games was just to prove client's innocence, then mysteries would've been constantly left unsolved, that's why they needed to get rid of common sense.

I liked this ep.
Still nothing so awesome but average level

1st episode was terrible and turned a lot of people away unfortunately.

Direction is lazy and there is no OBJECTION battles.

is this a stepladder, a folding ladder, or a ladder?

Still better than the previous eps
