If Miura had finished Berserk ten years ago it would be legendary, but because it's still slogging on with nothing happening it doesn't stand out at all among all the edgy fantasy manga that were inspired by Berserk to begin with.

But Berserk is better than it ever was. The story is hyping up Griffith better than he was ever. The looming apocalypse and madness are at their all time height and after all Guts has been, Elfheim is so welcome, it's borderline fanservice for the happy ending we ain't getting. Guts' character is finally not edgy anymore and he finds hope and happiness in human interactions, evolving as a person with every two volumes. Fights are more interesting than they have ever been with platonic love for him by BEST loli. Artwork is better than it's ever been.

i feel like the main plot is progressing way too slow. for the the past 10 years we've been gettting only side plots that seems like one piece and only real advancement we've got was that griffins rules windham and it literally couldve took half a volume to show
