Do you remember this shit

Remember having a social studies class all throughout public school, starting to think this is brainwashing

They knew calling it "Socialist studies" would be too obvious.

>(((Studies)))

What were the worst books you had to read for english?
>Black Like Me
>The Jungle
>Night
>The Awakening
>Hunger Games
>Historical fiction about a slave woman
I made a diorama of a slave hut for that last one. My favorites were Julius Caesar and Fahrenheit 451.

if hunger games was out when you were still in school then youre a child and need to get off this site

I read it freshmen year, I'm 21.

Of Mice and Men was probably the only one I actually stayed awake for. Not a terrible book.

That photo is my OC

I hated The Grapes of Wrath. Fucking boring story about people who make bad economic decisions and grandma dies on a car trip.

my favorite book

I was required to read Animal Farm in 11th Grade. Capitalist propaganda! KEK

I don't know about you guys but my English classes were redpilled. We read animal farm, 1984, Fahrenheit 451 and the fucking alchemist

I have a PhD in Political Science. This is correct. Social scientists are ideological gatekeepers that prop up the liberal bureaucratic state by giving it an aura of scientific respectability. Most of social science has a positivist progressive bias which views the world of antiquity as "backwards" and "superstitious".

Data analysis without strong scientific theory is essentially an art, a black art. But you can apply data science to anything. So with modern regression analysis and machine learning methods, the study of politics can redeem itself as a scientific endeavor, while in reality it's just pseudoscience - fitting junk regression models to trash data.

Political and Social Theory is supposed to address the underlying normative and philosophical problems of modern society. But in fields like Sociology and Political Science the entire literature is focused on problems that are self-contained inside a Liberal worldview or sometimes expressed as a Liberal position versus a more radical Marxist position. But ultimately, there is little serious critical discussion of the intrinsic absurdity of Liberalism and the radical Left, because there is a total embargo on anti-democratic traditionalist thought.

So true. Can't get anything published in comparative politics these days that isn't "empirical" (kitchen sink regression) these days. So little thoughtful work is being done in the most "practical" and "scientific" parts of the discipline. Sometimes I wish I studied theory instead.

>t. doing junk regression about protest in China for my thesis

Lemme guess, COW dataset?

If it wasnt for 10th grade English class I would know nothing about McCarthyism or the Armenian genocide

>when a potato has more social influence than you, and gets books written about it

The potato knows. It sees. It sees all.

I just laughed my coffee up my nose. May we both have pleased the potato.

Based English giving you the redpils whilst the cucks try to destroy you.

HOLD STEADY!

yeah

>I have a PhD in Political Science.
Um no you don't. Obviously.
>total embargo on anti-democratic traditionalist thought.

Um...platos republic

To summarise you are full of shit and don't even have an undergrad. Its sad you think you can larp. You don't even know you're retarded.

Just obey the potato. It knows. It sees.

>Notices Marxist deconstruction of a simple vegetable, extrapolated to entire world history
How are you unsure if this was ((((Marxist))) conditioning?
