It's faster paced than Mario Party, more punishing when you make errors, and instead of minigames there's a very simple battle system, and it has a deck building element to it also with cards that you can use. The characters all have different strengths and weaknesses so it makes a difference which one you choose. It's a really fun game, surprisingly deep given how much randomness and chance is involved. It's around 10 bucks and it goes on sale a lot. But it's only really fun if you play with people you know, or at least I find that to be the case.

Most of the time it's just a four player game where people keep getting screwed over and laughing at each other's misfortune.
