Yes.

i watch fate zero with my dad

My mom enjoys the occasional Miyazaki flick

I watch anime with my wife's son all the time.

My mother likes Shinkai movies

I watch lewd anime with my imouto

Of course, my dad introduced my anime, and sometime, we watch Hunter X Hunter, Dragon Ball Z or One Piece

My mom enjoyed Tokyo Ghoul, SnK, Charlotte aswell as Buccano

My dad fucking loved Death Note

is a master out? someone?

Inuyasha with muh pe-paw. It's a good time

>parents
>my dad

You know you are getting old as fuck when anons tell you that their dad's introduced them to anime

lurk for 2 years before posting

I'm watching Sakamoto desu ga with my mom, she likes it.

Is she perharps a landwhale who lusts after younger men?

My dad isn't interested in anything beside football (not handegg) and cars, and my mom has strong prejudice against anything anime.
I managed to bring her to see the wind rises at the theater. Too bad it was one of the lesser Miyazaki movies and it failed to make an impression on her.

Nah, she thinks is funny.

no

>mfw my mom spends several hours a day watching tabloids, shitty soap operas and historical TV series with amateur theatre-tier acting, but immediately starts complaining when she catches an action film while zapping

>she doesn´t want to watch Lord of the Rings because it is "too exciting" and "full of monsters and nasty things", which means she pretty much doesn´t want to watch anything in which there is a remotely interesting conflict

You fuckers with anime-loving parents better respect and cherish them, or I will find you, I will kidnap you, and I will tie you to a chair and force you to watch School Days for the rest of your lives.

Pic related,me and my wife's son watch Pokémon all the time.

You know she feels the same way about the gay Korean baby cartoons you watch, right?

But anime is at its best without action or conflict.

my dad has space battleship yamato the series, the ovas, 2199 and the live action adaption on his NAS.
pretty good.

Showed my dad SnK TTGL and OPM

he LOVED SnK and OPM, hated TTGL

Don't try to turn this into a manly vs moe thing, alright?

Censor it, only little girls are allowed here.

Hell no, when I was a teenager I remember the ridiculous lengths I went for them not to find out. I alt-tabbed out whenever someone entered the room, I wore headphones, but I always sat right next to the screen and my hands never left the keyboard, I was always listening to both the show and the atmosphere. Once I was looking at loli porn and my mom opened my door, and for some reason, it wouldn't alt-tab out. She walked right up behind my screen, but didn't look for some reason, and in that moment I realized how precious life really is. Never reveal your powerlevel, to anyone, ever.

Showed a bunch of anime to my mom, she likes to watch stuff with me (and is keen on animation as a whole).
Here's the list of what we've seen, but I might be forgetting some:
Soul Eater; probably her favourite. Still says nothing I show her is better than "the death school one". Got really emotional at that Maka and Crona bit at the end.
Kuroshitsuji; she liked the atmosphere and how the story was done. Couldn't stop fangirling over Sebastian, initially disliked Ciel for being a little bitch but warmed up to him eventually. Still calls every tall character wearing red Grell.
Madoka; she thought it was fine but wasn't very enthusiastic. Sayaka was her favourite girl for being reasonable, but she was disappointed with some of her actions later on. She found Kyubey very cute initially, even the scene where he eats his own corpse ("Oh, so he was made out of whipped cream this whole time!").
Highschool of the Dead; She doesn't like zombies much, but she did get invested in the plot and shipped MC/sword girl and fat gun guy/pink-haired girl. Didn't like the ending, as it was "cut short without revealing anything", but liked how the OVA ended things somewhat. About the fanservice, she found it more funny than anything, in a "I see which audience they had in mind here" way.
Shingeki no Bahamut: loved it. Found the designs to be really good, lips and all, and actually approved of Favaro's initial desire to kill Amira, because she's a demon and mom's pretty religious. She likes Amira as a character, though, just thinks she can understand Favaro here.
Kabaneri: pretty hyped, hopes to see more soon. Doesn't mind the zombies, gets genuinely surprised by the plot twists.
Kiznaiver: I think she liked it, kind of, but pretty much every character but Chidori has already received criticism from her. Chidori's good, though. She likes Chidori.
Overlord: liked it a lot. Still thinks Ainz is a good person. Calls Demiurge Grell because of red suit, interested in VN spoilers.

My dad saw me watching Initial D and got hooked. We ended up watching the complete series together.

My Dad is 70 and probably the biggest fan of Gin no Saji there is, and like all old men he likes One Piece.

Also, don't start your thread with a non-Sup Forums related meme newfriend. You're probably pretty close to being banned.

used to watch DBZ with my dad as a kid, but nothing really as an adult since we dont see each other much unless its for work or family dinners. while I was in high school but before i was really into anime he saw and loved dead leaves so much he bought it for me/him to have in the house

You look like a living stereotype. Where's your trenchcoat and fedora?

My dad is dead, thanks for the reminder.

What with this and the OP's epik memeposting, are we being raided by facebook?

That's a YouTube guy, you've been coaxed into a snafu.

>me and my wife's son
Poor Carl

My dad actually introduced me to samurai X. He really really loves it. He died 5 years ago due to complications. He apologised to me at the hospital for not introducing the series earlier.

My dad was able to recognize, JoJo, Saitama (from OPM), and Detective Conan/Case Closed. Even walked in on him watching Tokyo Ghoul once (with Thai subtitles though). Was going to go see Kizu part 1 with him but tickets sold out.

I watched dragon ball with my dad back in the days. I remember my mom even saying that he missed work sometimes just so he could record the new episode.

i watched death note with my dad and he loved it (till L's death) i told him the rest is crap and not worth to watch

my aunt, unlce and niece 4yo watched basically all ghibli stuff and liked especially wolf children and totoro a lot

My dad says anime is shit and i should read manga only, is he right guys?

>and cars
DEJA-VU

My mom watches the Gundam series and my dad got me into anime with Voltes 5 and Samurai X

Not really that far from the truth

Nah. Both are shit

I've sat down and thought long and hard about what kind of anime my dad would like. He's extremely intelligent (executive of large corporation), generally dislikes fiction and likes military/republican stuff.

The answer I came up with was absolutely nothing. Sometimes it's just not meant to be.

Classroom Crisis had a lot of politics. Schwarzesmarken also had politics and military stuff.

>My mom watches the Gundam series
How is this possible?

LoGH?

My mum enjoyed watching Hanasaku Iroha and Steins Gate.

Dad dislikes anime but enjoyed watching Crayon Shinchan with me as a child

Imagine how stupid your kids (assuming you ever have any) will think your stupid chinese cartoon hobby is.

My 12 year old daughter and I have the same taste in anime, cute girls doing cute things.

A few years ago I watched Evangelion with my Mum and Step Dad. They loved it weirdly enough

...

my mom loves rose of versailles and tomorrow's joe

>not brainwashing your kids with anime and manga from the time they're born
>not watching anime with your kids

its like you don't even know how to parent

I was watching Umaru with my mom. She said it reminded her of me.

My parents hate anime and even gave a long and serious talk about it when I was 15. It was weird as fuck, my dad seriously believed anime was meant to brainwash kids and my mom knew what hentai was and how disturbing tags have so she cried thinking about how I could become a degenerate. Of course I told them that everything was right and not to worry about it.
Now I'm here.

Why did moot get rid of the textboards?

Here is your >YOU

my mom loves food based anime.

last week we saw some parts of Shokugeki no Soma together.

I once accidentally sent a link of some hentai to my dad

They were the slowest things

>my dad seriously believed anime was meant to brainwash kids
Expand on that kek

I watched most ghibli movies with my mom and she loves them.
My dad only likes Robotech but I showed him Macross Plus and he enjoyed it a lot, he even watched it alone a couple of times.

COOL VIBRATIONS

go watch chuuka ichiban next then, though the anime is kinda different from the manga

He seems like a person that would enjoy something like K-On to take a break.
Intelligent people know how the appreciate the simple things in life more than the rest, that's why so many scholars graduate from university writing a thesis about K-ON

My daddy likes boku no pico, sometimes he makes me dress as pico as he self inserts into me from behind.

sounds good, thanks.

>24
>visit parents
>bring my laptop
>mother asks if she can use it to look up some recipe
>sure, whatever
>go out to meet some old friends
>come back an hour later
>mini intervention'esque gathering
>apparently they saw the anime folder on my desktop
Now in their mind anime is either cbeebie-tier programs for toddlers or hentai tentacle lolicon, blame the media and their ignorance.
Tell them to just watch a random episode of anything in that folder to see for themselves.
>No, we aren't going to watch that sick stuff, what is wrong with you.
I can't be arsed with that shit, so no, I don't watch anime with my family.
