Everything in moderation. If you work all day, or go to school, and come home, and fap to some porn, it's not going to be the end of the world. On the other hand, if you skip work to fap all day, you have a problem.

If you smoke a little grass after a hard day of work, more power to you. If you're late to work because you got high, you have a problem.

If you eat fast food every day, you're in big trouble. If you have a burger every now and then, have at it.

If you drink have a few beers every now and then, go for it. If you wake up and drink hard alcohol, you have a huge problem.

Porn, weed, poor diets, not getting enough sun, and lack of exercise all CAUSE depression, and there is plenty of scientific evidence to prove it. 95% of people who are depressed could be cured by going camping for a week or two and leaving all their first world comforts behind. I don't think anyone is claiming that drinking a couple beers on the weekend is going to give you crippling depression. The problem arises when these things become vices/habits, which is very common, and which is why so many people are on anti-depressants.

No, they are all negative coping habits to treat depression. Depression is a lack of a specific goal or ability to cope with life, therefore you numb yourself to life causing depression. Porn/Drugs and Alcohol are used to get the release a normal person receives every day.

These are not mutually exclusive ideas. It's a vicious cycle wherein people become depressed due to drugs/diet/poor habits (perhaps they use that as a coping mechanism for life stresses), and then further indulge in those vices as a form of temporary relief from their self-imposed depression.

Nonsense. Depression is most often caused by chemical imbalances and usually has nothing to do with objective reality. Being depressed is not the same thing as being stressed out or being sad. If what you're saying were true then Africa, India and China would have the highest suicide rates in the world. But suicide actually correlates with higher living standards. I cannot fall and stay asleep before 1-2am. At points in my life I worked 7am-5pm, Gym from 6-8, get home eat dinner in bed by 10, can't sleep.

When I go to bed at 1-2 I sleep soundly and wake up feeling actually rested. If I try to sleep at 10-11 I wake up constantly and end up getting deep sleep around the time I'm supposed to get up.

Agreed. If I smoke weed at night about an hour before sleep it's fine. I sleep better, I relax more, its all good. When I start to sleep up and let my self smoke one in the afternoon or morning shit goes downward so fast.

I'm extremely addictive when I have access to a vice, but I'm good at not getting it. If I buy junk food I binge it all, but I can resist the urge to buy it in the first place.

It's all about figuring out yourself, we all have different strengths and weaknesses.

not true man, I would say the decisive factor is a sense of purpose and social interaction. Once I moved to a different part of the city far away from friends and because I was so bored and depressed I used it as an opportunity to get into good shape by running and lifting and heating a pretty strict diet, drank rarely and didn't smoke any weed, rarely watched porn (had little sex drive), and woke up early. Was still depressed as fuck.

Not having some sort of routine can really contribute to depression. OP's image is a little misleading: you can do some pot, fap to some porn, go to sleep late, and drink alcohol without being depressed. If you don't have a routine, even something as simple as a basic outline for your day-to-day activities (i.e. work, school, free time, etc) you'll start derailing yourself.

It's easy to blame drugs, or booze, or porn, or fast food, or the other things that society has deemed taboo but in reality you can really start making headway on your depression with a simple routine every day.
