at what age did you reject capitalism? For me at 18 after my libertarian stint. Every second of every day capitalism is destroying the traditional way of life

You are free to go to an Amish community

You hate capitalism. Meanwhile you are standing in line atvthe Apple store waiting for your new iPhone X. Growup

>Libertarian
>Hates Capitalism

aggressive capitalism and multinational corporations are what's the problem. they are eating up culture everywhere and replacing it with consumerism.
like everything in life finding a balance between things is the key, too much of any one aspect is not conducive to a happy life/society

Ok, you hate capitalism so bad, there's always the socialist shitholes in South America. Don't let the door slam you in the ass on the way out though.

It gives people what they wish for. You only hate capitalism because it allows the rotten desires of your culture to manifest in reality.

If you belonged to a wholesome culture, its capitalism would produce wholesome products and processes.

Kanker op naar Venezuela dan.

news flash: karl marx invented capitalism

before marx, they really didnt know how it worked

I have no idea what point he is making there.

In any case, Capitalism is the best system we have for generating wealth and meeting the people's aspirations and personal growth needs. Communism/socialism has proven itself to be a failure every single time it has been tried. People crave wealth and power and someone will always take it regardless of how equal the society is supposed to be.

That picture looks comfy as fuck desu. So much for you to consume, always something new to try, plenty of options.

>american reading comprehension
lame as shit "arguments". Im not a communist, im a corporatist.
its an exchange of individualistic shortterm deseris for higher ideals such patriotism, ethics, tradition etc.
>b-but people want it, b-bootlicker
the individual is shaped by the environment, if this is an environment of never ending consumerism ofcourse he will act this way

haha there is no such thing as a wholesome culture this is what you dont understand. people have to be made to be "wholesome". if you give the option to indulge their base desires 9/10 times they will. that is why unvetted capitalism corrodes society. it encourages people to become mindless drones and rewards them with instant gratification for their most superficial desires. you have to shape a society from the top down. at the moment the top is saying "have what you want whenever you want as long as you can pay for it or make somebody else pay for it"
in this type of society culture, heritage, morals, tradition etc all go out the window because they dont create revenue. you know it's true.
100% socialism isnt the answer but neither is uncontrolled capitalism

capitalism is extremely efficient and productive no doubt, but at what cost. do you like the rubbish music that the music industry churns out on a daily basis, or the shitty films hollywood vomits out every week or so? tv shows like the Kardashians? i could go on. these are all products of uncontrolled capitalism and we are worse off for it in the cultural sense in my opinion.

is there now way to strike a balance and direct the efficiency of capitalism where it is needed while also being able to stem it's control over culture and society? there must be

That picture's not a good representation. That's a cluster of businesses specifically there to serve drivers on that highway.

>im a corporatist
Surely that's even worse than a capitalist

CAPITALISM IS A JEWISH INVENTION INVENTED BY JEWS

IT'S A JEWISH TRICK DESIGNED TO FAIL IN ORDER FORCE YOU TO ACCEPT JEWISH SATANIC COMMUNISM

DON'T LISTEN TO JEWISH LIES

That pic looks super comfy

Oh gross dude Perkins delete this shit

...

>the traditional way of life
Capitalism IS the traditional way of life retard.

Counts you out then. America loves exporting cuck porn and race mixing. Also obesity.

lol Xd

>corporatist.
Dude, you're advocating an oligarchy.
you want capitalism but then also just have the corporations be in full control, without a governing body to make them adhere to the general law, instead allowing them to have separate laws for themselves so that they can produce whatever they want, without any real concern of consequences to the people, to the point where the people couldn't make them own up to any crimes.
>Being this fucking retarded.

als je niet weet waar je het over hebt kun je better je gewoon stil zijn

Its no use people are too stupid to understand this. They will blindly follow capitalism until it erodes everything simply because socialists dont like it

you sound like one of those retarded sudo-intellectuals who get annoyed when everyone else doesn't get "it". You are talking shit

Humans are simple creatures, they want money and stuff. Capitalism gives them that and socialism takes it away from them (and gives it to a few lucky people at the top of the corrupt , but you're not supposed to talk about that comrade)

>als je niet weet waar je het over hebt kun je better je gewoon stil zijn
Come on, say it in English like a big boy, also; not an argument, right?
>Image.
>We're good for the nation; because I say that we are.
Wew, what a compelling argument from a system that somehow didn't last.

It's cool fellow Colgate, we were all 13 at some-point in our lives.

Holy shit mate listen to yourself. They're both the same. Let me break it down for you.

>Jews own all the money
>Jews use money to enslave the goyim

That picture makes me super nostalgic to when I was little before my parents split up and me and my little sister would ride with our parents to see all our extended family in Ohio. The drive was from Washington DC to Toledo, OH and we would ALWAYS stop in that fucking town. I remember being in absolute awe and so excited every time when we would take the exit and come up to the town. Thank you for making this thread user. I'm going down memory lane looking up pictures of the Pennsylvania turnpike.

Stopping at Breezewood is even worse than taking the turnpike in the first place. If you want real fun, make a left turn while you're there, ideally in a tuck or something about the same size so you can block up all the lanes at once.

>one has worked almost flawlessly at generating huge wealth for over 200 years
>the other has failed miserably every time it has been tried causing the deaths of millions
>"They're both the same"

ok "mate", maybe you should listen to yourself

I'm sorry you have no concept of Jewish moneylending. You'll have to understand that before you can argue with fancy words that don't mean anything.

>retarded
>sudo-intellectuals
Ironic.

I'll remind you of this when your slavemaster gives you some food.

Last time I drove through Breezewood, I got a #1 Dad keychain for the irony. My best friend's gonna be a dad in three weeks, so I felt it was only right to give it to him. Of course, now I have nothing to remind me of long late-night roadtrips through Breezewood, so I better go visit Pennsylvania again.

>We're good for the nation; because I say that we are.
through actions user. Not through words
>Wew, what a compelling argument from a system that somehow didn't last.
yes a loss of a worldwar totaly invalidates an ideology
>It's cool fellow Colgate, we were all 13 at some-point in our lives.
good one XdXdxD
>sudo
please dont reply to me

Remind us of this when you don't get your food because there was a draught and you only get food working directly on it's production instead of something you are good at.
Yeah, the short memes and slogans sound good, but they are stupid.
Bad ideas spread quicly and collapse even faster. Good ideas take time but last much longer. That's why communism fails everytime, fast, with tons of dead bodies.

Capitalism is responsible for the (((illegal migrant crisis))), and does nothing to solve degeneracy.

I remember my dad would laugh because when I was little I said I thought it was like Las Vegas with all the lights. God I should talk to my Dad more, he can't fucking walk anymore he's has like three strokes. Taking those road trips are seriously some of my happiest childhood memories.

>through actions user. Not through words
The actions led it to its downfall, enough said.
>yes a loss of a worldwar totaly invalidates an ideology
Yeah, that's why capitalism doesn't exist anymo- oh wait, :^).
>good one XdXdxD
Thangs :DDD.

Damn right you should. And tell him about your memories of the road trips.

>Americans get nostalgia over driving past a bunch of fast food shops

Is that West Virginia? It looks like WV

Kek it looks pretty comfy though

If the Jews own literally all the money what's this shit in my pocket fãm

So do we, dude. It's the last stop for candy and shit before you go on a road trip or camping adventure. Not something euros get, I suppose. I guess you wouldn't understand.

Those are debt instruments owned by the Federal Reserve Bank that have you have in your pocket on loan.

>rejects capitalism
>practices every day
children...

Better question is when did Sup Forums become anti capitalism. Seems like it's more and more everyday now. I'm proud of you guys

About the time
>well capitalism has obviously failed it's time for something new
became meme

It's a little oasis amongst the eastern hills

So it's not real money then?

Depends on your definition of "money" I guess. My point is that it's owned by the Jews who lent it out to you at interest, and that the only way you can pay the interest is to borrow more of it ad infinitum.

You don't own nothing, goyim.

dude fuck capitalism LMAO

I'm paying this interest? No one ever sent me a bill.

Nice job OP, at least someone try to evolve, most of people here are just stuck in their ass. Capitalism is not the end of the line, perfect model. It's failing, and I hope I'll see some difference in my life. Now it's just plain consumerism, corruption, idiots getting filthy rich and burning our children ressources for nothing constructive.

They send the bill to the government, which acts as the mafia enforcement arm to extract your property from you. Why do you think they always have to raise the debt ceiling or whatever other nonsense?

Why do you think everything always gets more expensive and you're literally losing money by the day if you try to save it compared to the interest rate?

i haven't yet. i have a stable job and income. I can pay form the stuff i want. Good life.
Try getting a job you might see the perks the as well.

That's what's driving inflation? No other causes?

It's better than capitalist, at least corporatists are honest about meddling with government affairs. Also differentiate between national industrial capitalism and international financial capitalism.

It was the feeling of coming up to the exit after driving through the mountains for hours and being greeted by all these bright lights. Turning off your game gear and getting ready to finally get out and stretch your feet.

My family moved from DC to San Antonio in 2006. My parents split up a few years later. I haven't been to Ohio since like 2004. I'm married and have my own kids now and I'll never make that trip ever again. Even if I did both my dad's parents are dead, the farm is gone, the grandma that is still alive sold my moms childhood home, she lives in assisted living, everything's all different now. So seeing that picture in OP just like reminded me of those trips in general.

Correct. It's the mandate of the Federal Reserve to maintain a rate of inflation that effectively takes all your savings away by the time you die. That's why over the course of 100 years a dollar is worth a few pennies at best. It's designed to skim off all the value and then blow up just in time for world government.

>at what age did you reject capitalism?

I never did. The whole of the modern world lends its gratitude to the capitalistic way of thinking that got out of the way of progress.

Abundant, clean running water? Check. Reliable sources of electricity? Check. So much food that ever OUR POOR are fat? Double and triple check.

Man, OP, imagine being such a fucking retard baby that you would bring your entire species back to the stone age because you're so upset that life is unfair.

If you don't want capitalism why are you in the Netherlands and not a country like Niger?

This. If that weren't enough, they're sucking up every penny.

>slavemaster gives you food
>what is literally socialism?

>Im not a communist, im a corporatist.
Now this is an interesting turn. The corporate system really is the best way to administer large enterprises that are too big and risky for any one individual to oversea. Corporations allow for the pooling of risk, limited liability, and liquidity to buy and sell shares.

>Shareholders are the owners of the corporation
>Elect board of directors
>One share, one vote
>Board of directors hires management
>Management and board of directors set strategic priorities
>Management runs day to day operations
>Management overseen by and reports back to board of directors
>All 3 parties maintain limited liability
>Management and board of directors not liable for shareholder losses except in cases of outright fraud
>Ineffective managers and directors are removed
>Shareholders are generally free to buy and sell there shares
>Allows for anyone to participate in business ownership

Businesses like Apple wouldn't be possible without the corporate system. Apple is currently worth $834 billion. Bill Gate's net worth is "only" $86 billion. Nobody would sink their entire net worth into a single enterprise. Globally, there are over 100 companies with market caps in excess of $100 billion.

Sure, the corporate system fails sometimes (Enron, banks in 2008, etc) but it has a respectable track record and no system is infallible.

Name a better system to administer these enterprises. If you say social or government ownership, kys.

Early. But instead bought into Marxist trash because thats what my surroundings were pushing.

Realized that was gay at some point and thought maybe "markets just weren't FREE enough." Realized that was even gayer etc.

wtf are you talking about

kek, yes you have plenty of bread and circus to keep the goyim brain dead.
However your water isn't all that clean and the you know the real reason the poor are fat. Food sources which are actually healthy and not mass produced for profits are quite scarce and definitely not cheap.

Honestly this graph should've ended this discussion years ago

>Name a better system to administer these enterprises.
There isn't one, but the problem in the first place is such enterprises should not fucking exist in the first place. Go ahead and listen to more molymeme though he's probably right up your alley.

Patrician, nothern tastes my dudes. Eurocucks don't understand. A few hour drive and they aren't even home anymore. We can drive for days here.

I see I gave you too much credit. Sorry. You must be retarded. I just described the basics of corporate administration. Is this not what you were talking about when you said "I'm a corporatist"?

>Every second of every day capitalism is destroying the traditional way of life
You can go back to shitting in the woods if you hate progress so much.

corporatism as in the original definition

Healthy food is cheaper than it's ever been

>such enterprises should not fucking exist in the first place
And why not? If that were the case, none of us would be here. The earliest European exploration, trading and colonization ventures were structured as corporations. Sending boats laden with men and supplies into uncharted seas was incredibly risky business. Nobody was wealthy or reckless enough to fund these ventures on their own. Corporations allow for the pooling of knowledge, capital and risk to achieve things greater than any one individual is capable of accomplishing on their own.

If your diet is compromised solely of potatoes, absolutely.

But they do exists whether you like it or not. The differences lies in the fact that these companies are building things that individuals who can contribute to society wants. It boils down to who decides what has value. In capitalism individuals decide what has value. In socialism the state decides what has values. Second, there are only two ways to make people work, self interest or violence. In capitalism since individuals decide values, individuals will work for their self interest. In socialism, since the state decides values which may go against what individuals may want, you have the state resorting to using violence. So what you get in a socialism society is people working to build nukes instead of food or other thing. Socialism would work out great but the state is run by individuals who are full of flaws. Power struggles will evolved and so you end up with socialism devolving into Stalin, Mao, Kimmy, regimes.

*comprised fuckin phoneposting I give up

Until we have a a post scarcity society we need economic system to felicitate exchange and growth. Capitalism has its problems, mainly the detrimental effects to the planet but I would much rather have this than other economic system that have been proposed.so far,

Potatoes, rice, meat, eggs, vegatables. All can be found pretty cheap and support a very healthy diet.

I was a neoliberal type for quite some time before I became Catholic. Now my views are closer to Distributism or National Socialism.

I have realised that capitalism at the period in history has become inherently revolutionary and Anti-logos. It thrives on promoting vices and dangerous passions which in a sane society would be resisted and conquered.

National SOCIALISM

>implying unhinged capitalism works without major failings
Yes I love my chinkshit so much it totally makes up for everything else going to shit.
>implying the sheepie is able to gauge their own real self interest accurately in the long-term. let alone that of their communities and the effects those have
lobertarian much? yes the government is shit but most people are just as bad when left to their own devices. I'd argue self interest alone is just as bad as violence. You'll always need is constructive brainwashing until the masses become somewhat enlightened enough in order to have a real sustainable and healthy society.

When I realized that crony corporate capitalism =/= the free market

As long as you get them from your supermarket they're definitely an upgrade to a fast food diet, but still shit. Food sourcing is more important than you probably think user. And good luck finding cheap grassfed meat from your supermarket unless you have a reliable local source or enough time to grown your own.

>chinkshit
The idea was to export low skill labor and have people develop better skills for better jobs. Another factory in another place means you're suppose diversify and change what the factory produces. It doesn't matter anyways because robots are taking over.

I'm not a libertarian or a commie. I say the best economy is a mixed one where there are some aspect of society that is socialized and others are not. The military is socialist system. Laws are a socialist system. Communism works well too if you have a foreign enemy to fight and need to make nukes. If anything the only thing that matters is technology and science. The rest is keeping shit from hitting the fan.
