Communism is the next stage of humanity following the capitalist stage and the socialist stage.
What exactly is communism according to Marxist-Leninists:

The Bolsheviks presented themselves as the anti-war movement which was attractive to the Russians who were left beaten and impoverished. They were swept in by the rhetoric of Lenin and other communist orators, who promised them bread, peace and land.
I am not defending the Bosheviks by the way, they were utter fucking scum who told cold-face lies to the Russians and ruled like tyrants and denigrated the Russian people but if you put yourself in the shoes of your average Russian prole at that moment in history, I think it's easy to see how they were galvanised by the Reds.
