One of the many things I love about being a born-again Christian, is that we, as a culture are against (((degeneracy))) as a people. When I go church, I see happy, loving, functional families. Many of them are quite large, with a good number of kids.
The children are polite and well behaved. The men have a driving force in their lives, beyond the material things that society latches onto. Many of them are well traveled, and most are well read on Christianity and history.
The women are wholesome, many are devoted wives/mothers, and instead of dressing like... You know... They're tastefully dressed. Most of them wear dresses and head scarves (Orthodox).
Its comfy as can be.

Do you know whats interesting? Many "traditional" Churches are growing in size and popularity. My church is like 90% Converts from other religions/denominations.

I lived that way until about a year ago when I became disenfranchised with (((society))) and started looking towards my Christian friends and assossiates with curious respect instead of contempt. I visited an Orthodox church for the first time last November and they welcomed me in and I've been going ever since.

Yes. The takeaway from that verse is that it's lawful to do good on the Sabbath. The Pharisees had perverted what was lawful to do on the Sabbath and had made it a burden instead of a blessing.
That verse is not an indication that Jesus didn't keep the Sabbath, but that he understood Sabbath-keeping better than them.
