There are a bunch of composers i liked from videogames, I never really looked into anime composers. Excluding the ones who made the Elfen Lied OP because it was godly, probably my favourite piece of music ever made. As far as I know they ahvent gone on to focus on that style of music. Waste of talent imo.

I dont care if they are eastern or not, I just want good composers. I know they exist, Silent Hill has had some great music over the years, ZUN is an obvious choice, and plenty of games have some really good usic.
He isnt eastern, but I feel the need to shill him. Kirill Pokrovsky made some god tier tracks for the Divinity series. I'm not expecting much from Original Sin 2 (retarded name) in the music department.
