Gets me every fucking time.
Sad character deaths
I'm still carrying that weight...
Literally every brojo death except for avdol
At least he died doing what he loved.
I like to believe he reincarnated as a Shinigami
Avdol is not a brojo
RIP Wolfwood, and RIP pic related.
Supposedly he did, considering what happened in the after-credits, but it's never been confirmed. He is confirmed to be stuck in limbo hwever, between Heaven and Hell, per the rules of the Death Note, so maybe.
Didn't they say at some point that that rule was bullshit since whether you use the death note or not everyone just becomes nothing after death?
fuck i just noticed that tora is closing his eyes and tears are dripping from between his eyelids
Literally bros with Joseph
Shut yo mouth
How can that be sad? Dying id DB is as much as eventful as moving to a different place.
Has anyone ever actually died for good in DBZ? Even the villains always come back to life.
Just looked it up and you're right.
A brojo is a bro to the main Jojo. These are the brojos
There's nothing sad about it, he was already dead.
Was everything I did in my life a mistake? I did not want to die this way!"
fug Trigun was great
So was this snail
flatty-san we hardly knew ye
A number of deaths in Gash Bell.
Well I don't really think they count, at all, but they get me either way.
I want hachikuji back, i miss her
Everyone at the Wailing Wall
It was expected, but still.
"Oh God... grant me one wish..."
that entire sequence fucking hurt
Don't make me laugh.
Watching that red haired girl from Kanon slowly get weaker and finally disappear. Not really a "death" but that was my first anime I ever watched. Fucking roller coaster of emotion.
Steiner/Grimmer from Monster. Dude always had a smile, died like a man.
Manga ending was better anyway.
That was a mean thing to do to Milly, Nightow
That just made me mad because of how fucking stupid it was. Shit was like the opposite of plot armor. Garbage writing.
Aren't we forgetting someone Sup Forums?
Kaki was brojo too.
The sound of her wailing while Vash and Meryl barely keep it together
Dammit, Kyliah. I wish I was your boyfriend, instead of Tim, so I could have been the one to comfort you!
This one was really sad...
I just can't hold back the tears once the funeral starts ;_;
what the fuck kind of shit subtitles translates it as flubbed?
Caesar's death will always be something that messes me up no matter how much I watch it. Rip best brojo.
Meruem did nothing wrong
she turned into sea-foam
Also Rei, from OniisamaE. more due to Nanako then Rei herself. When I read the manga, you kind of see it coming since it's
suicide, but in the anime it's an accident, and that really drives home the fact that life just likes shitting on Nanako. The death really has that "Aerith" quality of some times, people just die, and the hopes and dream you had die with them, but life goes on, and even though you wish you could just lay down and stop living, you can't. Even having already read the manga, the anime still got me to cry like a baby.
True heroes never die.
This hit me as hard as a truck
I totally din't expect that from a Mashima work
RIP in pieces principal post man, we barely knew you
And now no one will ever know how he ended up getting underneath it.
The real tragedy.
Shit, I just watched that for the first time two days ago. I'm still not over it.
Ito is a comedy genius, his cat manga proves it.
got me good
ah shit had forgotten this
Quit the show at that point, he was carrying the whole thing
I never liked Kaji he always seemed like an asshole. And not the entertaining kind either just a fucking bore.
They fugged though, right?
I still think her death was complete bullshit. Lelouch should have killed her willingly.
That episode had no right to be as disturbing as it was
Sup Forums has all but forgotten about SAO. Still one of my favorite stories.
hey this female character looks promising
gets killed 1 chapter later
was the only fucking interesting female character in the entire show
I'm so glad they didn't ruin Jiraya by bringing him back with every other character in the series with that bullshit revival jutsu.
No, even if she wanted to Suzaku's autism would protect his chastity. Suzaku is as pure as the falling snow
the original white knight
Pretty much this.
Not alone my brethren.
AJI TAEEEEEE is forever burnt into my mind.
I remember. I think people just don't talk about it because it's good and you can't shitpost about a manga/anime if everyone agrees it's good.
The one that kept spewing deathflags while dying.
I didn't see that one coming and holy fuck was it emotionally brutal.
More than half a year later the best I can say is that it hurts less than it did.
Did he die though.
It's been ages since I read that, but I still feel the slight tugging of sadness at seeing this.
1. hope you're kidding, this where the good part starts
From this episode to the end : i could'nt keep my hands off my kleenex box. Damn ...
Easily one of the worst. I was in shock the next few episodes.
yeah... It really got me back then when I first saw it and even to this day it does.
I'm a sucker for characters who sacrifice their lives for others. Especially if it goes un-remembered.
Came here to post that, was not disappointed.
My favourite JoJo character.. Never forget him...
the dude from kekkaishi
That was a mercy kill.
What have I become
My sweetest friend
Everyone I know goes away
In the end
Yabuki's death never felt very sad to me, one because he died doing what he loved, and two - the real hard hitting emotional moments of AnJ came before that.
I won't forget her.
That wasn't her death.
She died a long time ago.
**Hyou made me cry more, and the arc where no one remembered Ushio was a tearfest for me.**
I know this anime was shit, but man, the nostalgia is strong with me.
I think that made him die again
is there any season/movie/special/ova where he doesn't die
Second one is Fafner
Kaky was absolute fucking garbage with barely any fucking relevance in his own goddamn part and no relationship with Jotaro
She comes back later on.
he didnt ded tho
died like the dog she is
This scene got me more than his death
I like to think he squeezed himself under the beam so he could say that cool line and support his family home forever.
what a stupid kid, kids are dumb.
He was too based to live
The best character, actually.
Rest in pepperoni. Never forgetti buccellati spaghetti
There was no reason to give him so peaceful death. Manga ending a best.
Was she forgotten?
knew what was coming the entire episode
Saddest than this?
not quite, he died later
This was genuinely heartbreaking to me, because he so clearly didn't want to die
Most death scenes it seems have the person going out like a boss, accepting their death and doing some manly shit, or have it come out of nowhere
Wolfwood clearly saw he was dying, and didn't want to die. He was on the verge of changing everything and it was snatched away from him.
Something about Iggy's death always stood out to me.
Idk, I guess cause he was a dog
Boat too I guess. Plus most of the flashback deaths.
died like the dog she is
For some reason I cried a lot when I saw his death.
We at this, huh ?
Reminder that Jotaro died by getting his face split down the middle in front of his daughter who then got her arms ripped off and head split open
never forget best moment of best girl
This getting animated will break me
You can have it all
My empire of dirt
I will let you down
I will make you hurt
If I could start again
A million miles away
I will keep myself
I would find
Not if we get a sequel.
damn it bro
