Digimon season 1 was my first anime

Naruto

Dragon ball. Aired in my TV. With French Dubbing, and Polish Lector translating. In shitty quality. But i didn't care. Didn't know that was anime tho.

1st anime after years was Bleach.

Rizelmine...
If you call that an anime.

Full metal alchemist was, but probably pokemon

Albator, le corsaire de l'espace.
Space Pirate Captain Harlock's french dub with synth music

Mushishi.

If we're disregarding shows like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh and Bobobo-Bo Bo-BoBo which I watched sporadically on tv.

Initial D

Probably Robotech with my father. We didn't realize it was a bastardization of three completely unrelated anime at the time

Technically Pokemon or DBZ, but Ronin Warriors was the first one I made a point to catch every episode and follow the plot.

If you're talking shit that was on TV in the mornings before school, then Sailor Moon.
If you're talking about an anime I was actively watching, my first was Eva

Soul Eater back when I actually preferred dubs

Disregarding Pokemon, yugioh, dbz and all the other mainstream stuff, it was death note. My brothers shower it to me and fuck did I love it

Shit nigga I thought I was the only one here who watched old mech animu with my dad growing up

This in 1988 or 1989. French dubbed.

And it's still the best I've seen.

Rozen Maiden

yes, beacuse of desu spam

If you mean first subbed

Otherwise Pokémon/Digimon/Cardcaptors/Flint the Time Detective.

Sailor Moon in 1995

That was my second.

This was my first.
1983 bitches!

Dragon Ball Z

I'm so original

does watching the pokemon dub when i was 5 count?

>First I watched:
Dragonball Z

>First I followed:
Naruto

>First I finished:
Bleach

Not very exciting, but an introduction is an introduction. Thank the optional God the Internet exists.

It's either Moero! Top Striker/Captain Tsubasa.

I wouldn't count it, but it technically still counts, which is why I formatted mine differently. It looks like blogposting though.

Astro boy. The original.

Yakitate Japan

does codelyoko count?
if not then dragon ball z

Without knowing what anime was, It was either Rounin wariors or Saint Seiya.I was young as fuck so I hardly remember.
I think the first thing I ended up doing subbed was Digimon Savers.

Its a tie between Robot Carnival, LILY CAT, Vampire Hunter D, and Iria:Zeiram. Can't remember exactly because I saw them when I was like 3-5 years old. Iria is still my waifu.

Sailor moon, and then I think spirited away

Probably english dubbed Pokemon on that Saturday morning cartoon channel.

doraemon and tomatoman

Dragon ball i think

Shimoneta

pokemon/gundam wing>yugioh>trigun/cowboybebop/gundamwing/big o>naruto/bleach

fuck I still remember preloading naruto streams on dsl....

Hamtaro

First anime ever? Evangelion or Pokemon.
First anime that I watched on my computer and not on TV, Dokuro-chan.

First watch was probably dragonball or inuyasha
First to finish from beginning to end is Chobits

Ronin Warriors or Samurai Pizza Cats

first on tv must have been some pokemon dubs or something. First i watched online was Death Note after a chick in my class told me i sit like L.

something gundam related, my friend had an older brother that was obsessed with gundam

The first one I can remember is Captain Tsubasa
The first anime I actually downloaded was Kiba

Pokemon, Sailor Moon, DBZ, Gundam Wing

Maya the Bee, Heidi or Vicky the Viking in German probably.

One of my earliest memories of seeing anime was a non-english dub of the 1979 Cyborg 009 when i was on holiday.

FMA Brotherhood in terms of something I actually watched for the sake of watching anime.

Otherwise, Yu-Gi-Oh!

Dragon Ball Z.

and the manga is still exponentially better

Sekirei got me into anime cuz those titties

One Piece or DBZ

is this bad

This one anime about a giant robot that could transform into a dragon robot.

What isn't this true for?

either shugo chara or vampire knight

grills from my primary school dragged me into this so it influenced what anime i watched for a yeaar or so

One punch man

some are about the same level of quality, but the different for nausicaa is a lot

it's expected tbqhwuf

Sailor Moon

Sunday morning DBZ

I don't remember my first anime as a kid (probably dragon ball thanks to my brother but I never liked it).

The first anime I watched on my pc was InuYasha. I watched it for old times sake. Kanketsu-hen saved it from being shit. That last season made me cry.

Akazukin Chacha. Still best anime to me.

It was Sailor Moon before I even knew anime existed.

Bleach

Being a teenager was pretty fun

...

usagi drop

...

I want to say speed racer and reboot but those are Canadian... So Sailor Moon

prison school

Marco. I was like 7 years old and shit made me cry like a bitch.

>First anime watched
galaxy express 999 or astroboy
>Anime that made me start following anime
Gundam Seed

Inuyasha, that first op still gives powerful nostaglia every time i listen to it.

Death Note

What, like, the first anime I knew was anime, or the first anime ever?

Because if you want my real first anime, it was Maya the Honeybee, and the Little Bits, both shown in 1990 on Nickelodeon. I was 3, I shit you not.

A little while later my great aunt showed me Super Book, on VHS, because it was fucking Bible stories. It was probably 1991. Sometime during all this I saw some Speed Racer reruns.

By the time DiC's version of Sailor Moon came out in like 1996 I was hooked.

it was akira
I was 8
I feared anime for a long time.
