Shit thread, shit OP.

>hi I'm an idiot and have no idea how anime production works
Fuck off.

Disney

WIT

Your mom

Sunrise

Kyoanus.

You can all go home now

twitter.com/erkin_kawabata/status/589384655796731904

>KyoAni shows budget is lower than average.

KyoAni founders should really have become rangers or explorers.
It's too bad they were born too late to discover America and too early for real space adventures.

Who are you quoting?

It's got to be Sunrise, right?

>shitty fake looking 3D effects
>big budget

You must be new to anime

>ufo
lol

>A-List anime studios

Bones, GAINAX, Khara, Kyoto Animation, Madhouse, PA Works, Production IG/WIT, Ufotable, Sunrise Studio 8, SHAFT, Trigger

>B-List anime studios

8-Bit, BEE TRAIN, Brans Base, David, DogaKobo, Feel, GoHands, Kinema Citrus, Mappa, Mushi, Nomad, Ordet, Perriot Plus, Polygon, Satelight, Seven Arcs, Silver Link, Comet, DEEN, Other Sunrise Studios, TYO, White Fox, XEBEC

>Studios that are basically mercenary meeting points where freelancers get hired in the bulk to work on specific projects every season

A-1, APPP, JC Staff, OLM, TMS

>>A-List anime studios
>GAINAX,
I question your sincerity.

Currently Sunrise most likely.
Gainax was probably up there too back in the 90s

>A-1, JC Staff

You're right about A1 but JC Staff has a ton of in house staff, specially directors.

Sunrise is the only correct answer

Madhouse belongs in that third tier
Gainax is dead.

Their only cash cows are LL and Gundam though. Everything else they do flops or underperforms.

Mappa when Cygames is the one in charge

They won't need MAPPA anymore now that they made their own animation studio. I still remember some people on Sup Forums claiming they were going to be the next big hit studio, but now just look at them.

Sunrise.

Please let Yuri on Ice be a hit.

>A-List anime studios
>Bones
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

>Kyoani
>No top tier manga adaptions or original classics
>A list

Good joke

They adapted Keyshit when they (Key) was at their prime.

They did Haruhi, K-On and Lucky Star which became huge IPs.

Free is one of the most popular fujo shows in the past decade, and is their property.

>B-List anime studios
>DogaKobo, Silver Link, Kinema Citrus
All of these are A-List, especially Doga

Me. Prove me wrong. Tip: you can't

>They adapted Keyshit when they (Key) was at their prime.
Yeah garbage

>They did Haruhi, K-On and Lucky Star which became huge IPs
Yawn none of which are from a top manga and only the Haruhi Movie was good since 2nd season of the anime ruined the show.

>Free is one of the most popular fujo shows in the past decade, and is their property.

Wow some gay shit no one besides faggots give a crap about.

>Yeah garbage

Your opinion doesn't matter, they have enough credentials to be considered an A list studio.

You not liking those shows doesn't make them bad or less successful.

My opinion matters since this whole thing is based on people's opinions.

If we are talking facts kyoani isn't as big financially like the other A list studio's and capable of handling multiple shows a season/year.

Either Toei or Pierrot. Ironacially, they also produce the shittiest-looking series around.

Other A list studios in that list aren't also as financially big and as successful as KyoAni, yet you're only attacking them for some reason. What did they do to you to make you hate them so much?

They all are besides WIT i guess.

And it's because their shows are generally shit .

Deen

How do you know? How do you even calculate success?

Isn't the reason why Ufo and Kyoani make consistently good/looking shows compared to other studios because of:
>careful planning
>a centralized team consisting of a only a few freelancers
>not shitting dozens of shows
You've seen with God Eater what happened when Ufotable fucked up their planning.
I heard that both studios also have their animators adopt the Google style of giving relaxation and recreation in their workplace?

/thread

Budget means nothing when you can do power point.

Is GAINAX dead? I really liked Dantalian and that was done by new people there at the time. I thought that might be a good sign that GAINAX was trying to move forward, but its 5 years later now and I haven't heard about shit from them..

>I haven't heard about shit from them..
So you missed one of the greatest recent scifi shows?

>TV Anime Global Mean Average from 2000 to 2016

Thank you based WIT, as expected of the most prolific new studio in recent years

>DogaKobo
>B-List

Why?

>shitting-looking logo
Probably not much for them

>That baseless data again
