And how have other music genres been corrupted by 'black' influences?
Can someone explain why synthwave/vaporwave music is 'white'?

They aren't. In fact they take tons of inspiration from black and Asian artists like Nujabes. Lowfi and AESTHETIC for white nationalism is so fucking dumb.
Am I not white if I think that kind of music is terrible?
once music becomes successful some jews somewhere dredge up any niggers who banged a drum once in a similar way and claim black people invented it
All decent music is white
Even Jazz/hiphop/RnB is mostly white if you look at the people who made the most successful songs
The only genres niggers can really claim to have helped along is Blues
Even Rap was being done by white people long before black, although thats nothing to be proud of
you only need to listen to the greatness of aphex twin, the king of electronic and IDM, vaporwave is degenerate tier
Because it's good
Because synthesizers are the whitest thing ever, excluding the helping hand of the honorary whites, the Japanese.
Electronic music, and nearly every electronic music genre in general is inherently white in origin, with whites still being the main producers of electronic music (with a bunch of Asians too).
Notice how there's hardly any big black electronic artists, and most black rappers sample other people.

This song fucks me up bruh
Jerry Reed invented rap
No vocals = harder to niggerize
Rap is pure vocals, leaves nothing to the imagination (like all chanting). It's a dumbing down effect, a perfect representation of niggerism in general.

Only white people are nostalgic about earlier eras of America.
it soothes my autism, but, like other forms of electronic music you cant just download albums like rock or singer/songwriter its always weird remixes. And the youtube ads really annoy me on my phone

Nujabes and J Dilla were the most influential, funnily enough J Dilla didn't have gangsta rap shieet, which still proves rap is shit

japanese if anything desu
Because most modern forms of music have been created by white people.
This is mostly correct. However, the 90's was the last great decade before it finally went to shit. Late 90's this was very apparent.

80s japanese pop musc was the comfiest shit ever. I could listen to this song for ages.
As a really big fan of his, this track is often overlooked - but it's fun and not 'weird' so good for beginners:
If we're talking 20th and 21st century...
Pretty sure noise is the whitest music, at least most uncorrupted (there are a lot of asian noise artists but mostly japs).

Otherwise, early electronic is definitely as far removed from black music as possible.
People actually listen to that stuff? I thought it was a big post-ironic joke?
Oh, and of course the inspiration.
All Japanese electronic music is essentially localized Euro/American music but made a literal decade later. They don't tend to create any new trend, just imitate with a localized spin. Some of it is still good though.
Some of it's alright but it is weird how often it's ALL some people on Sup Forums seem to listen to.
>Nazbols won't gas me for my chronic addiction to trance music

I agree there was a lightness in sound that has been lost lately.

I also enjoy this type of prog rock because of the same vibe.
I wouldn't say that, there's a bunch Nip electronic artists pushing boundaries.

yes disco is good, they made this music in Europe in the 70s
Anime music it's a completely original genre on it's own right.
>confusing funk pop with disco pop
???
If anything 80s Japanese pop has more in common with 70s American Yacht Rock.
it's not about it not being white, it's about it not being a front for (((social engineering)))
youtube.com
They are all inferior to turkish disco.
Friendly reminder that the only "white" genre of music is Irish Trad

Australian rock also counts.
Who /CarbonBasedLifeforms/ here?

It's the expectation to be an imitation rather than the exception. Their culture has to have time to absorb the trend from overseas to accept it, and then the localization occurs. The Japanese had only applied Western music theory within the past century and have had even less time to create a generation capable of being both literate in English, and having teachers that were classically trained in Western theory. There's more progress being made to defeat this trend now, but when you talk about anything pre-2000 you won't find much originality in the music that came out of Japan. Also, reminder that Sony made their name from imports that came from the Western world as well.
I love Synthwave, but just wait that a famous nigger makes a rap song with Synthwave/Vaporwave as flow, then even these genres will be niggered
are you seriously implying it hasn't been done?
Girlfriend listens to synthwave, it's already got niggers using tracks from songs.
Black people are soulless and unable to create original ideas. So they steal everyone elses creations and modify them.
>but when you talk about anything pre-2000 you won't find much originality in the music that came out of Japan.
This isn't technically true, throughout the 80s the Japanese pioneered subgenres of punk and metal, not to mention gave birth to the first "extreme" metal band. The Japanese alt rock and jazz scenes are considered highly original too.
I love CBL

It'd be difficult to feel 80's nostalgia with computers and lasers while hearing rap lyrics. I don't know if it's really gonna go that way.
I could post about it but hiphop and rap music started with a spree of looting in NYC. Even afterwards the fabled "game changer" of rap/hiphop production was a sampler that didn't have a full computer attached to it in order to facilitate ease of use and lower unit costs.
>brown eyes

Wow, this picture is amazing
Kind of true. Also, normies will get into it and ruin it much like Kanye with Daft Punk. Well, Daft Punk kind of ruined themselves, but you get the picture.
Yes and at a theory level all those things are heavily inspired by or just localized versions made from trends that were already happening in the Western world, or were incredibly obscure and likely commercial failures in Japan.
False. Electronic dance music as we know it today (especially the element of mixing records) started with blacks in Chicago and Detroit in the late 80s. It just so happened that whites took it over rather quickly because we're just better at it. Plus we as a race enjoy taking psychedelics way more than the blacks do
Just for you famallama
J Dilla is fucking great
youtube.com
The jam band scene is almost totally white. I've never seen a nigger at a Phish show
I never really considered it white user.
Fo sure, RIP
Niggers did a really good job with Blues.
They butchered hiphop though.
That really could have been something more than it is.
>Jazz isn't black
>R&B isn't black
>Hip hop isn't black
My god you are delusional. Those are 3 genres of music with CLEAR black origins. Blues too.
Jews butchered hiphop by financing retarded ass rappers so that they would become ignorant and violent.
It could be argued that it started with modular synthesizers in rock, Jean Michel Jarre, and disco. Which for the record while disco was influenced by other styles and featured black singers prominently, the production was overwhelmingly white. The "electronic" origins were always really white.

You want blue eyes? Here's Ronnie Drew for you.
Alright, I stand corrected.
Anyone else notice the really hamfisted trend of infusing every pop-song with a rap segment? Its so bad, I'm pretty sure they even retro-actively infused some old pop-songs with those, can't think of the one right now though
...
>music that causes overwhelming feels

This isn't even a tinfoil conspiracy since it's provable but the downfall happened when rap was weaponized as an advertising agent to promote degenerate products to blacks. It's sad that a crackpot Sup Forums comment is actually terribly close to the truth.
Kraftwerk is white
The that pedo Afrika bambatta fucked every thing up
Rap makes money cause white people mostly buy it, but it can also attract the few niggers woth money.
This reminded me a thing: listen to "So High" of Ghost Loft, and then the rap version with Wiz Kalifa...a fucking mess that has much more views than the original
I hate those funky Daft Punk songs, I hope that the Alive 2017 remixes will improve them
Just banting Irish music is good desu
While I'll agree with the repetitive beat element came from disco, the element of scratching and mixing was definitely a black influence. Not that that matters anymore, most electronic producers (and all mainstream ones) these days have pretty much abandoned that practice
I know burgerbro, just thought you'd like to see an Irishman with piercing blue eyes.
>I lost her to a student chap with skin as black as coal
why are the Irish such cuckolds?
American Country music is essentially some multi millionaire rapping about his pick-up truck.
The seeds are being planted, Fritz.
I hate how degenerate country is

This statement adds nothing to the discussion, as do most statements by this memeflag
>Can someone explain why synthwave/vaporwave music is 'white'?
That was OP's original question. I answered it. The music speaks to a sensibility that is primarily white--nostalgia for mall era white America of the late Cold War. Nothing wrong with that.
