How rich is currently the middle class in US? Let's say a family has their own detached house in a decent neighborhood with two 5 years old cars, 2 children studying at universities, medical insurance, they can afford a 2 weeks holidays in a popular american resort for 4 people, they have no loans and enough savings to live for a year without a jobs. Would that qualify as a middle class?

That's a traditionally defined middle class. Fewer people fit that now days though

It's completely dependent on where they live. A home in small town Texas that goes for $800 000 here goes for $200 000 there.

>Would that qualify as a middle class?

Yes.

Very rich in comparison to the rest of the world. The problem is that middle class in America can range from $30,000 to $500,000 salary. San Francisco can have 7 figure salaries and still be broke

So that would be a life standard for let's say a white-collar jobs like office, adiministration and so on? What about a physician or a engineer, would they be able to afford much more?

You can pay bills with money left over at the end of the month.

Americans are very poor due to healthcare costs

office jobs make a lot less than engineers
in a smaller place where I live an office worker might max out at 55k, but that would be the absolute minimum starting pay for an engineer

Okay...coming from an actual American:

The idea of what is middle class hasnt changed, really. What you described is traditionally middle class.

Living that kind of life requires, usually, an annual income of around $100k minimum (averaging out cities/suburbs costs). This is why its pretty much common and expected that the wife also works a full time job, and that working hours are at least 40/week, though in reality its usually around 50-60 hours a week.

Yes, the real time an American middle class wageslave works is around 50-60 hours a week. Also, we dont have any sort of siesa/break time that many European countries enjoy.

Americans think that they are one of the richest countries in the world, and while that is partially true, in reality Americans are kind of poor compared to the rest of the West due to the massive amount of time and energy spent working.

this

European in Canada here. The hours you guys try and work is retarded. Back home it's 37 hours a week to the fucking minute.

Very interesting, thanks.

Yep that's what happens when you completely give your country over to people who want to destroy you. USA is the primary vassal state of Israel, and we are the slaves of Israel .

Even if you have a high paying job you are expected to work these ridiculous long hours just like someone making less. This way they keep everyone working, and so Americans are too tired to do anything else but watch some tv and go to sleep when they get home.

You're basically right, except small business owners are the giant exception. Not everyone that isn't a wage cuck is a NEET. Many of us own our own business lad.

Forgot to disable meme flag.

Good for you. It wont stop the government from fucking you over, though.

Care to explain?

Polish CIA go away

Yep, not everyone who isn't a wage cuck isn't a NEET. There are quite a few of us minimalists out there too who like off basic subsistence farming and solar grids and only pay for internet service. I've only scratched the top of my thousands of late 90's early 00's game stack.
