As civilization has its head held under the waters of guilt and diversity, let us take a moment and seize a breath.
Come talk about the art and culture of the west. Is there still a soul to be found in the arts, or did the photograph kill canvas? Is art, of any form, worthy of the term if it needs footnotes to explain, or is there grace even in the obscure? At what point does tradition shackle? Where is the line where progress slides into decay?
Paint, sculpture, music, whatever moves the soul with beauty, for good or ill, come talk about it. Civility is always good, but it's better to be a little over-passionate then too cold.
Remember, tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire.

Porn's a little more explicit. Then again, I don't think it's possible to say that nobody's ever beat it to statuary, or even something more direct.
Nudity isn't, inherently, sexual, but the line is think as hell in modern times. Plus, the human form can be rather beautiful. More nudes are popular then clothed/armored statues, is it more to do with artists, or with the audience?
