Hercule

Hercule, he is still pretty strong. He'd probably give kid goku a tough fight.

Hercules is an actual martial artist who has won a tournament before. King is just a NEET who plays games all day and collects his hero paycheck once in a while.

hercule satan is genuinely strong, with training he could reach above yamcha tier
>you will never see a dragon ball series where mr. satan discovers how yo manipulate ki and becomes earths greatest hero

OP, we've already established that a much better fight would be King v Kitano

Hercule would be intimidated by the King Engine, he'd try to weasel out of the fight somehow. King would let him b/c he's a coward and wouldn't want to fight. End result: draw

I think you're all ignoring how easily Satan can be freaked out and intimidated.

King's true superpower is an insanely igh level of luck, to the point that the universe conspires to protect his reputaion was the strongest.

Amateurs.

iirc Hercule's initial power level was above Goku's when he did his first tournament

probably higher at this point and he is a genuine martial artist despite all his goofiness, we just don't see it because he's surrounded by demigods

Hercule is willing to try anything as long as he's in the spotlight. Even against someone like Cell who is capable of blowing up mountains, he just makes up a good enough reason why he's below him and actually attacks head on. Hercule would just assume the king engine is just some broken clock and proceeds to beat the crap out of King.

>Hercule

Weeaboo get out.

>Hercule's initial power level was above Goku's when he did his first tournament

Cool headcanon.

Mr. Satan fought in and won the 24th World Martial Artist Tournament that took place some time during the 3 years before the Androids arrived, when Goku and the others were training, long after the few competent fighters stopped entering tournaments.

If that fuckboy Jewel was able to end up as runner up, after Mr. Satan, it's grounds to believe that no one but shit-tier humans entered, especially since this also the first tournament to have a junior's division, which Videl won.

Mr. Satan only wins this tournament, because guys like Nam, King Chappa and Giran no longer entered the tournaments, after that whole ordeal where King Piccolo had his minions murdering the shit out of any real martial artist.

It comes down to if King Engine can intimidate Satan out of fighting.

Though, with Kings luck, some monster would probably come and interrupt the match.

20% of Satan winning
80% of Draw

Yea, but he still fought perfect cell.

He still came to fight Buu and even lived with him. He may be scared of overwhelming force, but he still acts.

Mr Satan wasn't afraid of Cell who had destroyed entire cities, he's not gonna be afraid of Mr Scowly

Satan actually survived a fight against a pissed off Cyborg Tao at the 23rd budokai. Though he was so injured that he sat out the rest of the tournament.

A weaker Tao was able to kill General Blue using only his tongue, and Blue was strong enough to defeat Krillin pretty easily after the 21st budokai.

So Satan has to be legitimately gifted and pretty strong fighter, he just never learned proper ki control.

King wouldn't even be able to scratch Buu, Mr. Satan's pupil, so him against the master, heh.

To be fair, scratching Buu is a difficult prospect for any taker, considering he's made of a soft, gooey substance that would almost certainly part before scratching.

The most likely scenario is that an Alien invasion or some other kind of terrible threat to humanity appears while they are facing, there's a black out while Goku and Saitama defeat said threat and, when the light returns, everyone just assumes that the two heroes allied in a noble act to save humanity.

Hercule's a genuinely great name. His dub name ending up as Hercule Satan is even better.

Satan would be afraid of King's reputation as the strongest man so he probably wouldn't show up - even though he could possibly win.

His real name's Mark though.

Hercule is the legit stronger fighter by probably a huge margin, but King's intimidation ability borders on superhuman.

So, Hercule pussies out and needlessly offers King some huge ass bribe to throw the match.

He at least tried to fight Cell and Buu. He'll at least try to get a single hit in.

Hercule is really strong, probably the strongest non-ki powered human in Dragonball.

King is big, but that's it. He's probably no weakling either but certainly no martial arts champion.

The only question is if Hercule can get past the king engine.

shit man, I dunno. Does Videl count? What about Yajirobe and guys like Nam and those big guys that Babidi Majin'd.

>Non-ki powered
>Brings up Videl (who was taught briefly about ki) Spopovitch and Yamu (who were magically empowered).

Dunno about Yajirobe and Nam Yajirobe's a coward though, and Nam is a one-trick pony.

It all depends on what Hercule believes to be true going into things.

He thought Cell was some dude in a Micky Mouse costume with rigged fireworks, so he went right in thinking it would be a cakewalk.

They both have plot armor to hide their relative weakness, but King's is stronger in that literally only Saitama and Genos know, whereas Hercule was already a joke among his world's heroes the moment he first showed up.

Why people keep calling Satan Hercule? Since when we have posers on Sup Forums?

Sure, but he got punched by Cell and Buu and didn't instantly fucking die.

Really, that's how the guy works: hear about someone strong, laugh it aside because he's the World Champion, and it's just some tricks/a dream, see the person's strength with his own eyes and starts to piss himself.

So if his adversaries big strength is just his reputation, Satan's gonna rip the guy in half.

For the same reason they call Yamucha "Yamcha", Kullilin "Krillin" and Bejita "Vegeta". Fuckign posers, man.

Again, Mr. Satan only approached them because they looked cartoonish and not conspicuously monstrously strong like King.

His ability to avoid death from injuries inflicted by strong enemies is hardly special in semi-comical shounen though.

Do you think a character like Usopp would stand a snowflake's chance in hell again either of these two in a straight fight?

Satan, because he can actually fight.

Spopovich was a monstrous looking guy near the Great Saiyaman arc. Satan still didn't think much of him. The guy was a giant long time ago when Satan defeated him. He got even huger, meaner and deadly looking during the saiyaman arc.

At his weakest, he would try to make a deal with King and let him hit Satan and Satan would fake loss. If that happens, Satan would know how weak the punch is and it would be over for King.

The most positive outcome for both fighters would be, they both avoid each other and fake sickness/injury.

King is #1 through luck and intimidation alone
Satan is easily intimidated and unlucky.
King, easily.

>Satan is easily intimidated and unlucky.
He tried to fight both Cell and kid Buu. Unlucky, yes. Easily intimidated? I don't think so. If anything he's at least brave... or very stupid.

>Satan is easily intimidated and unlucky.

Satan is intimidated by people stronger than him by legit order of magnitude. He spend half his time UNDERESTIMATING his opponents, even fricking Cell, until he gets a proof of their real strength. Then he is intimidated.

Intimidation alone wouldn't work against him. You need the strength to back it.

But he is unlucky, so that's a point against him.
