>let's pray to a god that let his people be slaughtered by conquistadors and disease
Yeah smart move cuck

Because Florida is probably the most hurricane resistant place in the world. Our buildings are all up to cat 5 code, we all know to shutter up our shit, and the cities are literally designed against flooding. Only a direct hit from a cat 5 can fuck us up.
Now the real happenings occur when shit hits places not used to hurricanes: new Orleans, Houston, new England area with Sandy.
The poverty kills in the islands are a bunch of brown people in wooden shacks.

Maybe after all of this you'll have earned enough sympathy to forgive your debts and be admitted as a state. Hasn't your governor already sent a slate of Senator/Representative-candidates to Washington to demand statehood?
Elijah Richardson
Yeah we did.
Jayden Butler
CAT 5 GUYS!
Jayden Williams
Seriously, how the fuck? This bitch turned Cat 1 this morning isn't it?
Jordan Evans
Hope it works out. You guys should just succeed if not. It's totally not fair that you serve in the military and pay some (but not all) taxes, but can't get representation to vote against the wars it fights and levy said taxes.
Nathaniel Walker
Magic.
Dominic Garcia
Wtf is Jose doing?

>A reminder from an actual meteorologist: The models will not be able to determine any US impacts until they are able to sort out what Irma is going to do and/or any interactions they may have.

Being a lazy spic, while hardworking Maria has to do it all.

I still remember watching a facebook live stream from the keys last Sunday - a bunch of guys stayed behind and were basically just calling the storm action, making fun of people, and trying to fly their 'redneck kite' that was basically a plastic bag on a rope. They were hilarious, and their apartment building was completely fine - it was basically just a bit of a storm for them.
Maybe this is gonna work as a Awakening? Or just speed up even more the exodus ...
Jose Adams
We dindu nuffin.
Jayden Morris
Oh my fucking god.

That is not true... some places are still underwater.
Irma hit the west coast and Miami and oddly Jax got terrible flooding, much worse then this coast.
We are looking at 800k homes damaged so much that it will result in deliquent mortgages.
This was a serious storm, it just didnt give us hollywood tier damage.
how do you think they are going to pay for these repairs?
Power lines were done in 30+ counties.

Eli Robinson
This is literally hurricanes taking steroids isn't it?

Everyone thought Irma was something; cat5 for days at a time.
Now we have Maria; TD to cat5 in only 48 hours.

Maria-chan isn't that thicc as Irma but it has more potential to destroy everything.
Nah, it'll dip South and the winds all of 50 miles from the eye will be mysteriously weak.
How soon until they evacuate all of Florida?
John Lewis
The post I was responding to was talking about deaths user. Sure there's some flooding in Miami Beach and shit but it's nothing cataclysmic and people gtfo of there days in advance; and yes you don't need to tell me about the power outages I live in Miami half the people I know don't have power still. But my point was you're just not gonna find burbuda levels or even close to damage here, that only happens in cities in the US that usually don't get hurricanes.
For what it's worth the west coast of Florida got a head on collision with a category 4 and not much happened other than the grid and some outer structural damage. My point being any other place than Florida would've been demolished.
