New Bones mecha anime by the staff of Eureka Seven

>new Bones mecha anime by the staff of Eureka Seven
>new action-packed Gurren Lagann-like show by Trigger and the staff of Gurren Lagann
>Zaregoto by Shaft
>Violet Evergarden by KyoAni

Is 2017 going to be the best year for STUDIO WARS, Sup Forums?

2 of those are going to suck.
1 of those is going to be hated for bringing newfags to Sup Forums.
The last one will be spammed all over Sup Forums until you consider adjusting your filters.

It's inevitable.

Meh,

What are Madhouse, Mappa and Ufotable doing in 2017?

So it has begun already.

>>new Bones mecha anime by the staff of Eureka Seven
I would guess that it would be an original anime, right?

Nothing worthy of discussing.

Those studio's are literally adapting garbage material.

Like?

Deadhouse and Mappa will be bankrupt and ufotable will continue to be whored to typemoon and video game shits

>Deadhouse and Mappa will be bankrupt
They won't. Isn't Madhouse with a TV channel or something like this?

Yeah, Nippon TV is the majority shareholder.

>new Bones mecha anime by the staff of Eureka Seven
Kyouda's alive?

>new shaft animu - meme shit
>new bones animu - shit with nice animation
>new trigger animu - cartoon network shit
>new kyoani animu - the only decent one

Ufotable will animate Tsukihime anime in 2017
Mappa ---> Yuri on ice (Sport fujo)
Madhouse ---> ???

Can't wait for the shitposting.

Predict flops and hits, Sup Forums!

your lack of arguments in the only shit here dumbass

>new Bones mecha anime by the staff of Eureka Seven
Flop
>new action-packed Gurren Lagann-like show by Trigger and the staff of Gurren Lagann
15-20k average
>Zaregoto by Shaft
30k average
>Violet Evergarden by KyoAni
Hyperflop

>Mappa ---> Yuri on ice (Sport fujo)
my bad, it's in 2016. So ??? in 2017

Wit Studio ---> Mahou Tsukai no Yome

We will Have Fate/Extra before Zaregoto i think. Early 2017.

What I dislike is automatically a flop for me, even if it sells 100k on average.
That is also by the way your metric, and that of every other user.

nobody cares for spin-off shit about worst girl, though

Sure why not

This is one of the most honest posts I've seen on Sup Forums in a while

>nobody cares for spin-off shit about worst girl
It will outsell Zaregoto

Nobody gives a shit about Extra.

Why's it always Shaft vs. Kyoani? Why not Kyoani vs. PA Works (the studio that artistically is more similar to them) or Kyoani vs. Madhouse (also known for their sakuga) or Shaft vs. Gokumi (maker of Yuki Yuna wa Ripoff de aru) or Shaft vs. Trigger (artistically somewhat similar)?

If Trigger does a mecha show it's going to be Trigger vs Bones.

PA who?

>2 of those are going to suck.
I am guessing you are talking about bones/shaft animes?

>1 of those is going to be hated for bringing newfags to Sup Forums
Trigger?

and then Kyoshit for the last one?

>Shaft vs. Trigger (artistically somewhat similar)
You're gonna have to elaborate cause I fail to see the similarities, unless you're talking about them both making slideshows half the time.

Satan has spoken

>mfw studio wars when Studio Pierrot outsold the whole year with Osomatsu-san

Trigger's new show will most likely be on Toonami eventually, it's gonna bring all the Sup Forums kids to the yard.

>Madhouse
>known for their sakuga
You what? Bones would be the KyoAni matchup in that regard.

You forgot Full Metal Panic

Like i need more shit on Sup Forums
Kyoanus fags will slob all over it calling it masterpiece, AOTY and spamming the board with how Kyoani is the greatest studio, the savior of anime and why arent you watching. To summarize, being the insufferable shits they always are.

Shaftfags will spam less and try to sell it like art.

For the Bones one no one will defend it instead of the fans but instead everyone will shit on because "Bones original" and "Bones mecha"

As for the Trigger one either the threads will be somewhat fun like Luluco with the occasional user TRIGGER IS SAVING ANIME or by how the sell the show already, attract the TTGL crowd and nothing more needs to be said.

user, we're talking about 2017, not 2015.

Trigger is going to wake up all the Sup Forumsirgins and Sup Forumsedditors in hiding.

>Bones mecha
>Trigger
>Kyoani
No thanks.
>Shaft
More like Zarestills.

Now Snk 2 is what really will win 2017.

>That is also by the way your metric, and that of every other user.
No, because I don't use the word "flop" for things it doesn't mean.

Sales:
Zaregoto > TTGL 2nd coming > Bones mecha > Evergarden

Quality:
Evergarden > Zaregoto > TTGL > Bones

I think you meant to say "shit" instead of flop.

I like how everybody hypes Zaregoto despite the fact that nobody has ever read it.

It's okay. I only hype it ironically.

>Now Snk 2 is what really will win 2017.

this is what Sup Forums has become
this is what we get for not running casuals and retards out when we had the chance
i hope you all are happy

How's that remotely surprising? Have you ever seen the kind of series they list in those "reasons not to kill yourself in 20XX" pics?

Violet Evergarden and Neo Gurren Lagann are gonna be so good

I blame high school for making all those high schoolers depressed as hell.

Is Zaregoto confirmed 2017? Shaft is the King of Delays.

I'm kind of excited for the sunrise mecha musical. Although that's 2016.

Both have a distinct personality and have shows a lot of people like.

Classicaloid in Fall.

The fuck? Classicaloid isn't mecha, is it?

Synopsis of Classicaloid
>In a rural town undergoing revival through music, high school students Kanae and Sousuke meet none other than Beethoven and Mozart! Calling themselves "Classicaloids", this mysterious duo creates a strange power through the "music" they play.
>One night, stars fall from the sky and gigantic robots appear, causing trouble every single day! Bach, Chopin, Schubert also appear as Classicaloids. What is the mystery behind the powers they possess? Are they humanity's friend or foe?

It's Symphogear.

Sunrise gonna Sunrise.

I'm really excited for it.

>kyoani show
>not sucking

Because Deadhouse, (Dry) Bones, and (Pull the) Triggerfags at least know their place. Shaftshitters are literally convinced that their one trick pony meme powerpoint studio is better than GODANI, and they need to be taught a lesson.

Hey, with their constant spamming and shitposting, kyoanus threads might become outlawed on Sup Forums like Naruto threads used to be.

Did I say that?

Good luck with that one

I doubt it. The moderation nowadays only goes after really extremely obvious rules-breaking stuff like loli-porn or 3DPD-pics of penises.

Meanwhile, on /qa/, the same people complain that the mods are not listening to hiroyuki, and that he's doing nothing for Sup Forums.

his tastes doesn't mean he has done something good for Sup Forums

Of course.

An admin who actually keeps up with current anime/manga and can name an animation studio is more in touch with Sup Forums than the last guy who ran this place, whatever his name was

>Madoka so original lel

Godani should collaborate with Gokumi on YYY S2. They already made Monogatari-killer, why not a Madoka-killer?

Both have flat minimalist styles.

Oh the guy who let the shitposting rampant?

It's like Monogatari but with Katanagatari art.

And who only seems to enforce the rules when it suits him? I got banned just for an anti-idolshit post.

>keeps up with current anime/manga
He doesn't, that's why he needed to be told about KnK.

Fate/Extra will outsell those show

Shingeki no Kyojin S2 in 2017. Bones need to make Kekkai Sensen S2.

>Ufotable will animate Tsukihime anime in 2017
Don't you mean 2517?

>Bones
>S2
Please God no

>that projecting

>new Bones mecha anime by the staff of Eureka Seven
PLEASE TELL ME THEY GOT YOSHIDA ON BOARD,PLEASE!!!

>implying KyoAni's forced drama is good

kys

We only know that it's mecha.

>tfw you're still buttmad about KyoAni ignoring Haruhi

It's like they're actively seeking out and destroying their studio identity.

>Shaft vs. Trigger (artistically somewhat similar)?
what

surely I'll like Zaregoto after enjoying Monogatari

They both make Chinese cartoons.

From the synopses I've seen, it sounds kinda like Monogatari, but with a more sci-fi bent.

>deadhouse
>made OPM
And before you say "But the japanese sales sucked!" they were mediocre but it's done amazing here and westerns are buying tons of merch along with the manga translation

I don't think they're ignoring Haruhi. Kadokawa owns the material and I don't think they're really interested in it anymore either.

I don't think you know what mediocre sales look like, OPM did quite well. That one show isn't enough to buoy them on its own, though.

Filthy secondary here, but how would they do that?

F/SN can be adapted by treating the three routes as separate stories, shit like Kanon/Clannad/Air works because there's a clear main girl and you can otherwise have the MC help all the cute crying girls, but Tsukihime, to my limited knowledge, has several girls and clearly distinct plots, plus the whole Near/Far side thing.

They'll just pull a Shadow the Hedgehog and make a "true" ending won't they?

>Kadokawa also ignoring it

I get that they can't pump out new stuff because Tanigawa's had writers block for like 5 years, but certainly they realize they could move a new printing, some merch, and probably jack up other LN sales if they went up to KyoAni and told them to make Snowy Mountain Syndrome or something.

There's also the possibility that they aren't offering Kyoani enough money or control to get the ball rolling. It's probably more that they don't have any new source right now though.

Everything animated so far is from the first 6 books plus an anime-original episode (and again, Snowy Mountain Syndrome is still available from those), and some of the remaining 5 have full-book stories so they can still have half a season as a single plot like with season 1 surely they're not dumb enough to pull another EE. I could see them waiting for Tanigawa to announce a new book and then commission a season in the lead-up as a promotion, but it's still weird how they just completely ignored the 10-year anniversary of an industry titan whose influence is still very much felt.

> it's still weird how they just completely ignored the 10-year anniversary of an industry titan whose influence is still very much felt.
Maybe it's because no one cares

At any rate, you should blame this on Kadokawa, not Kyoani.

I wonder if that whole Hirano fucking her bandmates thing also played a role, if so may every purityfag Jap's favorite idol be fucked on camera by several Koreans while she enjoys it.

Doubt it, she played Haruhi in the spinoff.

I doubt that matters much anymore.

>>new Bones mecha anime by the staff of Eureka Seven

Why are you making shit up?

>Madhouse (also known for their sakuga)
Redline and One Punch Man aren't representative of the studio's average output.
