Shameless bump since last thread was archived without any links to new thread.

That thing won't hit us.

We'll see.

...

Let me tell you something. I'm in the southeast of the island (Las Piedras) and that thing will not make landfall on our beautiful island. Even if we have to physically blow it away, that thing won't touch us. Trust me!

This is punishment for the infidels

Daily reminder that the NHC downplays intensity forecasts for political reasons.

Denial

So this is how you're coping for the eminent disaster?

Faggot, you wont have electricity for years

>is hitting puerto rico as a C5 now
Wew lads. Time for my suicide

RIP user. Checked.

Better find shelter.

The last few frames of the satellite are super impressive. She hasnt even begun getting her shit together.

Naguabo and Fajardo is going to feel it the most, as it looks atm.

Checked. It will not hit the U.S.

Pretty much. Shit is going up and down like some kind of natures rollercoaster. I reallt regret never buying that 30k powerbank battery. Rip my vidya entertainment. No cards to play either.

Eastside of eyewall looks very strong. St. Croix is going to feel it as well.

I'm sick of fucking hurricanes. It's depressing that these storms keep destroying these gorgeous islands.

Are you guys concrete, concrete block or wood framed in PR?

>I'm in the southeast of the island
Unfortunate

twitter.com/TruNews/status/910185281336365056

Most houses in my area are concrete. I'd imagine a majority of the houses in PR are concrete.

Is there rebar in the concrete or just poured.

Same here in FL. Good luck amigo

Rebar. What would happen to a house that's just concrete? Will my family's be fucked?

Florida houses are concrete?

Probably not but rebar gives it an extra safety precaution.

You still have to worry about a blood or window blowing out causing positive pressure and ripping the roof off of your house.

>Puerto Ricans screaming "AY, BENDITO!"
youtube.com/watch?v=BvhHMIIgn_o

Unless the roof is also poured concrete.

South Florida made a pretty strict ever since Hurricane Andrew fucked shit up and flattened Homestead. The code used in the county was later expanded to cover the entire state, and a lot of older buildings from what I've seen in this area that were around before Andrew are made of concrete anyway. The issue lies up in some of the older buildings up north I think? But generally yeah, Florida houses are pretty fucking sturdy and built using concrete.

This article probably explains it better than I could.

When is PR getting hit?

Tonight. Hours from now on the east side.

>we might not have power not for weeks but MONTHS
Oh HELL no.

Source?

is it a cat 5 again?

160 mph at 11am

It looks much more impressive now, so expect an increase to 180 or more at 5pm

Local news

Link?

>miamifag
>survived Irma with only a damaged fence and a shit load of fallen branches
>lost power on sunday morning, got it back friday night
all and all not bad

You taking a flight to the Bronx?

San Juan here.

It was nice knowing you bros.

If this is a memetic post number then 10,000 Puerto Ricans will die in the next day.

Been without power for 14 days already btw. This will just prolong it for months.

We all gone die

Thell be fine

Tfw Maria is softly caressing us

Let's stay optomistic. We'll live to see the months and months of powerless-waterless repairs.

You guys moving to the Bronx?

Cause Dominicans are taking over.

They're taking the water away at 6pm to reduce damages

Why would you want us there?

Comfy stream of st croix

>tfw Bayamon

I heard that the last time a hurricane hit PR everyone fled to NY after.

youtu.be/3Q2CzQclKQc

Fuck phone posting

>Puerto Rico
>Puerto Pobre

AND NOW..
>Puerto Fucked

I wish my my grandparents are still here and require help. Until they pass away, me and my family are stuck here.

pet goat predicted harvey, irma and jose to hit new york and then a nuclear attack on the united states after

youtube.com/watch?v=tbUOLc13_Ng&index=1&list=PLdKVhvSQmim7hPLAtks2IQ5oGRKkjk-lp

now maria and jose (mary and joseph) about to merge and form a baby as the revelation 12 sign is having a baby

Neither are hitting New York, sorry.

It's like you people actually want to be nuked. Honestly, if you're this suicidal just kill yourself and don't bother anybody.

Get the fuck off pol faggot

What's the deal with your american born homies?

Got one now that's trying to orbit my girlfriend through her friend. Rico this rico that, fucker doesn't even speak spanish

EURO 12z

Direct hit PR.

Logic user. Florida had Canadian utility companies send crews in to repair their shit and they are still not done yet.

Kick him in his nuts.

>jose isnt hitting new york

>mfw

i wish you could feel shame when this doesnt happen but you'll just pretend you never posted it

That's not considering "hitting" it. Grazing it, maybe.

I’m in NY the leaves aren’t moving,

Latest recon is in, NE eyewall is at over 150kts, pressure seems around 920mb. No double wind maxima yet.

>Weather Around Guaynabo, Puerto Rico
youtube.com/watch?v=c_MGEkIykio

rather shitty webcam, but live

i was already right before
i made this prediction a week before irma hit florida

Impressive. St.Croix next.

919.6mb 153kts

Irma maxed out at 914mb.

>tfw comfy nyc
>tfw hurricane spic miles off cost

Only a little wind and rain, lads.

irma was east of the virgin islands when i said this was going to happen

hopefully is still live tomorrow

I lived in PR during Georges

You need to buy gas. as much as you can.

you also need a waterbed. Having a nice cool waterbed to sleep on at night is the only fucking thing that kept me sane after Georges

my gf and i were sleeping great while everyone around us was sweltering for a month after the hurricane

everyone in PR has a relative in Jersey/NY

>Implying this won't withstand 160+ mph winds
Maria ain't shit.

Looks like Florida is off the menu boys

are those fucking broom handles?

What are the metal bars for? doesnt seem very effective.

Going to 200 mph

...

Missles.

Looks like it’s developing second eye wall.

...

>tfw comfy nyc
>Only a little wind and rain, lads.

if you watch the pet goat video youll see that the old grandma originally scoffs at the size of the hurricane but then unexpectedly she sees it become a great deal exactly like you just said

youtube.com/watch?v=UFt7hI15YDQ

You know it.

Keeps the windows from being forced open.

We're geared up and ready for action here in Las Piedras. Any other town ready?

Maria in the range of Puerto Rico's radar.
Getting close.

>>Models could show both hurricanes Jose and Maria to meet at one point

But.. isn't this bad for happening? Just their own windwalls speeding up makes them speed down to merge. If two merge it's bound to cancel out a lot of the energy too. Like dissonant waves.

I lived here though Georges and Hugo which was worse. We're looking at months with no water and power. Nights here can be 80'F. Hopefully they make the airport work asap after it hits.

we need the hurricane to shift far left and erase Haiti from the Earth

My windows are made out of crystal im fucked

Waterbeds actually a good idea. Should keep you much cooler.

NC landfall

San Juan here. We're fucked no matter what. Stonger gusts of up wind will be fucking us right in the ass. Everyone left my area.
