Tax burden in my province is above 50% including all gas taxes, sales tax, etc. Health service is shit and you will wait upwards of 6 hours to see a doctor in hospital. My dad fell and injured his shoulder badly two years ago, went to emergency, was told to see a shoulder specialist to arrange surgery. Took 9 months to get itno the specialist only to be told "If you came here 6 months ago we could have helped, but its too late" My dad is now crippled in his left arm and it looks withered like kaiser wilhelm. He doesnt even care i would be suing the shit out of them. ALso a girl that works for me her mother is a doctor and gets paid a flat rate of 30$ per patient seen. Nodbody here wants to be a doctor becasue the government has jewed them down and works them day and night. Our system is not a success story to look at its a disaster.

now this one screams a troll account. its hard to find a hospital that won't accept your insurance if its a hospital in YOUR STATE with a health plan FROM YOUR STATE. his accident appeared to happen in his state. its very rare. its usually private doctors where you will run into this issue and private hospitals. also most plans have some sort of co-pay or charge that allows you to go to a doctor and hospital if it is out of your network. actually today, its pretty fucking hard to find one that doesn't have some extra detectable / co-pay / fee to allow you to go to a hospital / doctor outside your network. they still will cover it, it just be extra cost out of your pocket. but still far cheaper than if you paid for the entire thing yourself.

If you take a group of 100 healthy people, they can easily pay for the 1 or 2 people who gets really sick and everyone could still have low premiums.
