What was the moral of Evangelion?

What was the moral of Evangelion?

Shinji did the "right thing" and rejected instrumentality to live in the real world, but the real world fucking sucks. Like, it's the post-apocalypse. Half the world is exploded. He's gonna die. What the fuck was the point? How was that the right choice?

He has all the tang he could ever need and Asuka to call him disgusting. What more could a man need user?

Food and water.

Unless of course he just eats Asuka

can you drink primordial soup?

You can certainly try.

Can you drink air?
Because LCL is supposed to have the same properties.

I would really love a post-EoE sol of sorts. Just Shinji fucking off and Asuka following him, trying to get his attention and insulting him.

>It's just 30 minutes of them staring at the ocean with a Rei head in the background while Asuka occasionally insults him

>It's a Shinji gets hungry and eats Asuka episode

Just rewatched EoE.

I feel bad. I wish I never did as much research and discussion as I did about Eva. I just knew literally everything I was watching. It didn't nearly give me any strange feelings like it did when I watched it for the first time.

>"We did it, Asuka. We made it to the End of Evangelion."

This actually helped me.

Whether or not he did the right thing depends on how much you value the notion of human individuality and self-determination.

Shinji steps away from endless comfort for the chance to change himself, he wants to mature and he'll have to because for the first time in his life nobody is going to take care of him. Congratulations, it will always be this hard.

It won't just be hard he's totally fucked

He is until he resets the world into Rebuild

That would be regression. Find some glass and eat it for wanting that.

You're better off telling Anno to eat glass since he's the one who made it that way

> Third Impact happens
> But if you totally want to leave the Tang perfection and live in a shitty world where everything looks like blood and there's the constant stare of this giant creepy beheaded girl, you can
> No one leaves Tang
If anything, Asuka is dumb for leaving the Tang, and Shinji is dumb for not entering it.

That's awful, screw that.

If you can't budget properly don't worry, people will think it's deep instead
