I don't. I feel that it was a letdown.

more like ergo put you to sleep
seriously fell asleep a dozen times trying to finish this thing
pino is pretty cool i guess

somebody has to love it too i cant believe this

Started weak.
Began to look REALLY promising.
Ended weak.

I thought it was written like shit, the dialog being jormungand levels of cliche nonsense. The characters other than Re L being completely boring. Her only redeeming quality was her character design. It tries too hard and just treads on getting worse and worse.

It was educational, dammit.

Also, Re-l is best girl of this anime.

It's one of my favourites too, user. You're not alone.

its the only anime i would call pretentious shit, should have dropped it
pino a cute though

COME AND SAVE MEEEEEEEEE

That OP always makes me nostalgic for 90s alt rock. Like puts tears in my eyes on how much I miss it.

Other than that Ergo also put me to sleep.

does Sup Forums like death metal?

i love you guys

Meh

same, ergo proxy and lain are my favorite op's (even though ergo proxy is shit and i couldn't even finish it after making it all the way to episode 21)

but no one loves you

pino carried it

After the slow start the show was pretty good. The overarching story kinda sucks but I thought that the more adventure like story in the middle (once Vince, Re L, and Pino are on the Rabbit) was pretty great. Even though the OP sounds like buttrock I still love it.

I liked it a lot. Great story telling. Then again I also liked G;C so my opinion might not be worth much.

ED is also top tier.

>you will never have tea with a complete stranger and let them tell you your lifestory

couldn't finish it, was boring and i 've been through lain and thouht it was much better

I don't. It's shit-tier.

this desu

legitimately great op and ed even ifits just radiohead

also pino's a qt

Maybe I'm being a little harsh on the show, it's been some time since I watched it, but it is one of the few shows I would genuinely call pretentious nonsense.

It's a shame too, I normally enjoy this kind of show quite a bit, all I can remember from this was disappointment.

this, it made me feel so many feels, its story was ok but the OP and ED are what made it.

Great setting with a mix of post-apocalyptic cyberpunk and gothic aesthetic. All of the characters were really charming and felt like real human beings and the show often subverted our expectations with them. On top of that it had some great odd episodes like the quiz,make-up, disney, psychologist and library one. The ending was a bit underwhelming but besides that it pretty damn great.

Why did they have to travel to the other end of the world by boat again just to come back later?

I remember reading Sup Forums while this was airing. Those threads were awesome! Would always look forward to new episodes. If someone didn't understand the symbolism in an episode, someone would step in and explain and sometimes we would argue about it's meaning so you would not always be lost about it. I believe this is the kind of show best watched weekly and not binged. Too bad you can't do that anymore. But at least I'll always have those memories.

I love Pino, so cute! I loved it when she would ask not to interrupt her when she was reading. And than suit she would wear sometimes.

>Raison D'etre Raison D'etre Raison D'etre Raison D'etre Raison D'etre Raison D'etre Raison D'etre Raison D'etre Raison D'etre

...

neat art, nice character designs, great OP.

It was also complete shit.

I want to hug pino

I really found it a drag to watch it to the end and it was a 5/10.

Strangely enough it makes me feel very nostalgic and makes me feel really fuzzy inside. The OP is amazing too.

I was really digging it, up to episode 9. Before that point, it had that gritty underground feeling you got from the matrix movies, 90's arcades, and the pizza hut PS1 demo disc. It all fell apart at episode 9. The animation went to shit, and after that I realized "All these loose ends are never going to be tied up."
A bit of a disappointment, really. At the start of the series it gave me "the feeling", like Bebop and GitS did.

Best girl ever

It was okay.
Characters were good and setting was cool as fuck but a lot of episodes felt like they really dragged on.
I think it would've been great as 13 episodes with none of the filler.

i couldn't watch it, one of the most QUALITY anime I've seen. i think it was the only time i dropped an anime due to bad quality animation/art

first episode was fine, the overloaded darkness and filters helped disguise the ugliness but from ep2 onwards it shit the bed
