Workers do the work

Workers do the work.

Socialism is the worker's state.

Therefore socialism works.

>Socialism is the worker's state.
t. college student who neither worked nor experienced socialism for one second in his life

Until crazy dykes take over your movement and shame all the workers away for being racist/sexist/transphobic.

Socialism is the scapegoating of successful people and the idolization of poor people.

Who pays the workers?

An the party elite take all the gibs.

Except for the part when all you worker's have expended your original purpose and you get put down by the very people you installed. Your retarded view of how things work is skewed beyond belief.

(((workers)))

Communists are now working for the 1%. Look where they get their funding and marching orders from.

And a single engineer can do the work equivalent of 10 workers through optimizations. Not even mentioning managers arranging and planning resources.

Fuck you nobrainer.

Venezuela.
Check mate check mated.

Off to the gulags these idpol communist wannabe libtards go then

let's say everyone is a socialist altruist. Imagine one person gets a dollar, but he is too modest and social and gives it to the next person, but the next person is the same and gives the dollar to the next person, and that person no surprise is a socialist nice guy and gives the dollar to another person and so on and so on... until a capitalist pig comes along that gets that specific dollar and keeps that dollar and says "THANK YOUUUU!"

Who is winning in this story?

>communiggers
>work

>Capitalism isn't working
it's the only system that hasn't ended with civil war or being occupied by warring neighbours within 100 years of its inception

so actually, it's the only system that works

If the workers were actually worth being at the top then they would be.

>*runs out of food because shits free*

ancapist thoughts are better then statists retards

> socialism is the worker's state
> dumbass western kids actually believe this

Let me break it down for you -- the idea behind Communism is creation of an all-powerful state to seize the means of production and slay the bourgeoisie, and then dissolve said state and allow a stateless communist utopia to exist.

What apparently nobody has managed to figure out is this crashes and burns every time because

THE STATE WILL NEVER GIVE UP ITS POWER NO MATTER WHAT "DEMOCRACY" YOU HAVE.

That's not how socialism works
USSR had 100% employment.
Capitalism wont last automation. There will be a socialist civil war in the future.
Capitalists need the workers, the workers don't need the capitalists. A capitalist is one who simply owns the means of production. They can sit on their ass all day sucking their thumb but because your such an ideology spooked class cuck you will still defend them.

>the workers don't need the capitalists

Once again, if they could handle running a company on their own, they would already be doing that. Nothing stops them except for their own ineptitude.

>100% employment
>100% starvation
Spasibo Mr. Dzhugashvili

A singular person can own the a piece of private property at a time. The person with the most capital thus will purchase and acquire the private property. The nature of the capitalist means they will tend to accumulate private property in the hands of a few. Also, capitalist don't run the company, they employ workers to do that for them.

USSR ended famine and Soviet citizens enjoyed higher caloric consumption than American citizens. Meanwhile, poverty and starvation is on the rise in America as people choose between paying for rent or paying for food.

Are you the polish leaf who escaped occupation?

>capitalist don't run the company, they employ workers to do that for them

And this is why you will never be able to run something on your own. You literally have no concept of what running a business on your own involves and have no interest in ever finding out. Because of your own ignorance, you decide that everyone needs to be dragged down to your level via Communism.

You're absolutely right, capitalism has raped the world at the cost of enslaving millions to short, painful lives worth a handful of dollars.

Communism/socialism rapes the world to supply a monstrous conglomeration which eats workers and crushes its own people in the name of a nebulous and entirely malicious state.

Maybe instead of just trying both again and again, over and over, then demanding social change based on which system destroyed the fewer lives in recent history, we should try something else.

>USSR ended famine and Soviet citizens enjoyed higher caloric consumption than American citizens
With words like that, it's no wonder they say the only good commie is a dead commie.

Socialism doesn't and will not work because those who are currently calling for it are the laziest most unqualified workers of our society. Socialism will work, but first we'd have to kill of all of those advocating socialism because they cannot contribute arriving useful to society. When you have an advanced degree in tribal African feminism with a minor in gender equality studies, how will that in any way benefit a socialist society?

nothing creates better products and services than competition. If there is no free market and the government is the only provider of good and services there is no competition. Therefore products and services are only gonna be as good as any other government service. Which basically means life is going to be complete and utter shit for everyone. Wait for your new government iphone to arrive in 10 years. Wait for you car to be manufactured in about 20 years. Food will be scarce. The water supply will resemble Commiefornias/Africas water crisis.

You see where I'm getting with this? If not, you are a complete and utter retard.

The more government, the more suffering.

Agree.
The folks calling for Communism and Socialism don't actually want it.
What they want, is to earn $25 an hour for serving coffee.
They think that's what communism means.

I can't wait for November. Anyone else?

If I make a fishing pole, and give use of my fishing pole to a person who has no fishing pole under the contract conditions "you will give me x% of the fish you catch with that pole - the rest are yours, my pole does not magically become his pole when he fishes with it.

the issue with that statement is that the workers can only work efficiently within the free market and unrestrained by overbearing taxation and red tape.
this is the very reason why the united states went into a recession under obama.

what about automation replacing all manual labor?

1 year later and libtards are still crying... it's almost sad how helpless they are.

>Sedlácek: Being from the Czech Republic, I find that Marxism as an ideology has utterly failed. History has proven that it is a dead end and eventually turns into a nightmare. On the other hand, modern capitalism itself owes its existence to Marx – and today it is much more sensitive and social than it used to be a hundred years ago. Children do not need to work, workers are protected, and the rich care about the poor, weak, sick and old through the obligatory taxation and relatively generous social system. So Marx proved to be a much better inspiration to capitalism than to communism itself. Communism has failed while capitalism has developed to incorporate the most burning points. I think that Marx would much rather live in a capitalist country in 2014 than in a communist one, past or present. Marx himself was not a Marxist – that is well known.

>Sedlácek: His call to revolution against the system has failed, but he actually served the evolution of the very system he criticized quite well. He was the loudest critic, but failed to accomplish his goals. He probably thought that he was criticizing capitalism as such, but he actually criticized a much more general feeling: that the world in itself is wrong, not just, not ethical, exploitative, confusing, and that the system is not thoroughly thought through and generates paradoxes.

Checkmate my ass, faggot.

>Sedlácek: Take alienation for example, one of his main points. The feeling of being detached from the work of your hands and ultimately from yourself influenced Marx a lot. But that is something way older than capitalism and not specific to it. It has to do more with industrialization, urbanization, specialization – but all these are not specific to capitalism and exist in other systems as well, past and present communist countries included. Marx is thus not criticizing capitalism itself, but the human condition.

>Sedlácek: His idea that we should take care of the weak is not very original. In fact, it is religious. As all prominent voices of the Left will point out: It is easier to imagine the end of the world than to imagine the end of capitalism. Point taken, but that is the fault of thinkers of the Left! If anybody should be able to imagine a better society, it should be them. Even Slavoj Žižek, who I consider the most brilliant, original, and inspiring thinker of the Left, will readily admit that we don’t have anything to replace the system. The critique we hear from the Left is often a critique with a condom: the critique is very erotic, but they don’t really want their ideas or dreams to be materialized. I am also very critical about the system, but not in order to destroy it… in order to improve it.

Socialism might work if we lock the borders and execute all the worthless people like OP

Socialism would bankrupt the eco-

The last famine in the USSR happened in 1947. After that, no more famines. Also, the USSR ate more calories than the US citizens.

>workers do the work
>lazy people don't do the work
>government calls the lazy victims
>steal what the workers produced
>give it to the lazy

it's communism in disguise. If nobody makes any money anymore no one can afford the products AI produces. Unless robots just kill everyone on the planet... then communism could work.

>injury to one is an injury to all
>so lets punch people we think are nazis

[citation needed]

> invest 4.5 trillion dollars to gain 2.5 trillion dollars

Fucking neck yourself, statist.

But what did this Award-Winning, Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University mean by this though? I guess OP's just smarter than him or something.

Serious question, who provides start up capital and takes the initiative for new ventures in communism?

Fuck off commie

Become a business owner and let people work for you then, or are you too noble to own a business?

>working for no money
>working for the greater good
>working so you don"t get shot
>state decides your days off
>displace millions of jobs, 70% cant be recovered because we abolished free trade.
Why wouldn't I just kill myself?

and who is going to decide who is going to the gulag? (((the workers)))?

>The last famine in the USSR happened in 1947.

>Capitalism isn't working
>The workers are
>t. nigger faggot commie
Socialism doesn't work either, people die from hunger.
What you are talking about is fascist socialism.

Is Sup Forums being raised by commies?

>its either capitalism or communism
Day of the Rope for both when?

Lol I just heard a news report last night that claimed women are still making 86% of what men make. It said looking at average full time weekly earnings of men and women, women make an average of 86% what a man does in the state of Arizona. I laughed because that was literally the only statistic they accounted for. They never mentioned anything about differences in job choice, education, actual hours worked, total years tenure.

These are the way they are brainwashing these little communists, they keep filling their heads with these little half truths that they take as gospel. Technically they aren't lying about the wage disparity, but if they'd actually tell the whole truth then it would maybe make sense to those too lazy or stupid to actually research the claims. That would go against the narrative they've been pushing so hard though.

cooperation is superior

What did this Nobel Prize Winning and World-Renowned Economist mean by this? You must have two Nobel Prizes to make such a dumbass claim.

t. someone brainwashed by a deformed workers' state

Yeah, America's so poor and oppressed that we have the highest obesity rate in the world!

>commie scum

...

They get money by means of profit sharing.

The USSR saw unprecedented population growth dumb fuck.

>nothing creates better products and services than competition
This is not completely true. Collaboration is another aspect but continue.
>If there is no free market and the government is the only provider of good and services there is no competition.
Here is where you dive off the deep end with bullshit. All this basic rationale sounds great in theory but it doesn't work in practice. Under capitalism, goods are not produced to be used, they are produced to be sold, to make a profit. This is an important distinction to make and it explains why capitalist goods are inferior. Why is fast food quality terrible. Why do capitalist cars and other cheap plastic garbage need to be replaced every two years. Because quality is a second thought. It's also in the best interest of the consumer to purchase the cheapest worst quality products. Because consumers have limited funds, the products of the worst quality are the highest selling.

Look up planned obsolescence. Origin Ford Model cars lasted a long time. Then the capitalists realized this isn't a profitable strategy, to make products that last.

well you won't get that here you commie faggot

>Given the recent resurgence of socialism, especially as it is now being embraced by young Americans, I thought it might be a good time to re-visit my 1995 essay to review why socialism: a) failed in the 20th century, b) is failing in the 21st century (e.g. Venezuela, see photo above), and c) will always fail. And that’s because it’s a flawed system based on completely faulty principles that aren’t consistent with human behavior and can’t nurture the human spirit.

>1. Socialism is the Big Lie of the twentieth century. While it promised prosperity, equality, and security, it delivered poverty, misery, and tyranny. Equality was achieved only in the sense that everyone was equal in his or her misery.
>In the same way that a Ponzi scheme or chain letter initially succeeds but eventually collapses, socialism may show early signs of success. But any accomplishments quickly fade as the fundamental deficiencies of central planning emerge. It is the initial illusion of success that gives government intervention its pernicious, seductive appeal. In the long run, socialism has always proven to be a formula for tyranny and misery.
>A pyramid scheme is ultimately unsustainable because it is based on faulty principles. Likewise, collectivism is unsustainable in the long run because it is a flawed theory. Socialism does not work because it is not consistent with fundamental principles of human behavior. The failure of socialism in countries around the world can be traced to one critical defect: it is a system that ignores incentives.

Let me guess, none of the countries that had war or internal conflicts or collapsed weren't REAL capitalism?

>Socialism is a philosophy of failure
What did he mean by this?

>[Continued]

>In a capitalist economy, incentives are of the utmost importance. Market prices, the profit-and-loss system of accounting, and private property rights provide an efficient, interrelated system of incentives to guide and direct economic behavior. Capitalism is based on the theory that incentives matter!
>Under socialism, incentives either play a minimal role or are ignored totally. A centrally planned economy without market prices or profits, where property is owned by the state, is a system without an effective incentive mechanism to direct economic activity. By failing to emphasize incentives, socialism is a theory inconsistent with human nature and is therefore doomed to fail. Socialism is based on the theory that incentives don’t matter!
>2. The strength of capitalism can be attributed to an incentive structure based upon the three Ps: (1) prices determined by market forces, (2) a profit-and-loss system of accounting and (3) private property rights. The failure of socialism can be traced to its neglect of these three incentive-enhancing components.
>3. By their failure to foster, promote, and nurture the potential of their people through incentive-enhancing institutions, centrally planned economies deprive the human spirit of full development. Socialism fails because it kills and destroys the human spirit–just ask the people leaving Cuba in homemade rafts and boats [and those waiting in long lines today in Venezuela struggling, and often failing, to buy food].

And where exactly are you going to get the money to pay UBI?
For simplicity's sake say you were to get $1500 UBI (would probably need to be closer to $2500 to be effective enough)
And there are 323m people ( let's call that 300m) living in the US.
And there are 12 months in a year
That would mean you had get $5.4 TRILLION dollars from somewhere.
The federal budget 2015 was $ 3.8 Trillion.

capitalism works

t. based me, i'm so smart and you should listen to me YASS

Venezuela getting checkmated pretty hard there faggot.

[Continued]

>4. The temptress of socialism is constantly luring us with the offer: “give up a little of your freedom and I will give you a little more security.” As the experience of this century has demonstrated, the bargain is tempting but never pays off. We end up losing both our freedom and our security.
>Socialism will remain a constant temptation. We must be vigilant in our fight against socialism not only around the globe but also here in the United States.
>The failure of socialism inspired a worldwide renaissance of freedom and liberty. For the first time in the history of the world, the day is coming very soon when a majority of the people in the world will live in free societies or societies rapidly moving toward freedom.

Workers should concentrate on working.

Capitalists should concentrate on capitalizing.

Sure yeah everything is magically perfect and people who get shit on deserve it for not being part of the elite themselves

>Business isn't working!
>Let's combine all the business and have one dictator in control of everything and call it the state!

This. More than that it's about (((their))) globalist agenda. They want to run a prison planet of race-less, culture-less, nation-less, identity-less subdued sheep. They make up less than 1% of the world's population, yet look at all they control from the world's finances to the media that brainwashes us.

In short, they use the entertainment and news media to encourage globalism and discourage nationalism and traditional western values. They distort and lie about the present and past in that effort.
