Where have you been so far?
Personal recommendation would be Jiuzhaigou. It's a great natural region and wonderful if you enjoy hiking a bit. They've actually built trails throughout the whole scenic areas but the Chinese don't use them (they stay on their tour buses) so you can hike in peace and only run into people at the scenic spots where the buses stop.
If you're more into cities I'd recommend Hangzhou and Nanjing for history.
