The promise of the English guarantee seemed to have been drafted, that the fate of Danzig was out of the question: as long as the Poles were themselves to judge of the attacks on their conditions of life and sovereignty, attached no more importance to Danzig, it seemed clear that nothing serious would happen on this account. But for near April-May 1939, Poland has hardened its positions. A patriotic shudder has traversed their people. They were now ready to consider Danzig as their "living space". And not only did they refuse any conversation, any discussion, with Germany about the "corridor in the corridor", or the regime of the city and its territory, but now they demanded a protectorate.
It was legitimate for the German people living abroad (Sudeten, Danzig, etc.) to be reunified under the Reich banner. Plus, Poles were killing German citizens for years before the incident finally happened. Yet again, Hitler did nothing wrong.
Of course we should have give up Danzig, in 1939 our gouverment did terrible mistake and didn't sign the pact with Reich.

the allies allowed him to annex a small part of czeckaslovakia called sundetenland. hitler wanted to march in sundeten land since the local population ( and the german sundeten party) complained about discrimination by the czeck dominated goverment but since the allies said the would declare war on him and since the czecks could ally with either the soviets or the allies hitler was in a bad position he was in no position to forcefully annex. basically Benito Mussolini suggested to Hitler that one way of solving this issue was to hold a four-power conference of Germany, Britain, France and Italy. This would exclude both Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union, and therefore increasing the possibility of reaching an agreement and undermine the solidarity that was developing against Germany.

Desperate to avoid another war, and wanting to avoid an alliance with Stalin and the Soviet Union, Neville Chamberlain and Edouard Daladier agreed that Germany could have the Sudetenland. It describes how for many years Poland was preparing extensively to fight Russia. Pilsudski ensured Poland had a good relationship with Germany, which sadly was demolished after his death.
In general, every Polish military development and purchase was aimed at stopping Russians. Our warships, our infamous "horse cavalry" (which is actually extremely useful and dangerous in eastern Poland where there are much fewer roads and many forests to hide), and every other bit of military advice points to us being able not only to fight Soviet Russia, but to stop them.
If we were to succeed, Hitler could focus on the West, we would focus on the East, and it's very likely that the war would have gone completely differently. And what we would lose in Danzig, we would get back tenfold from the Russians. Even after we became enemies, secret letters of Hitler supposedly praise Polish perseverance, making him want to incorporate at least some of our genes into the main "pure" German bloodline.
