Concrete Revolutio: The Last Song

Final episode is just a few hours away.

I hope the ending lives up to the rest of the series.

>Final episode

Please don't remind me ;_;

>lives up to the rest of the series.
You mean to the episodes that weren't unnecessary filler right?

Making the thread four hours before it airs is a little bit too soon in my opinion.

Anyway, here is the staff list for the final episode.
>Screenplay
Shou Aikawa
>Storyboard
Seiji Mizushima, Tomoyuki Kurokawa, Ken Ootsuka, Shinji Ishihara and Kou Matsuo
>Director
Tomo Ōkubo and Naoki Hishikawa
>Animation Director
Yoshiyuki Kodaira, Atsushi Hasebe and Hitomi Odashima
>Mechanical Animation Director
Ken Ootsuka

The insert song of episode 24 will be sung by Nanase Aikawa.

>this is the last episode
I'll miss this show so much. Will next season have something even close to it?

Time for final justice!

:_-(

No Nakamura? I expected him to have a cut in the finale, shame.

Oh nice, the thread's up early. Episode 23 editions of all these images.

I'm going to be sad without more Jiro and friends

...

...

...

...

...

Rest in peaces Earth-chan and Raito.

Nakamura hardly ever does animation supervision, it's still likely he'll have some cuts in the finale.

Mfw members from Infernal Queen are still alive. Seriously, that part was stupid as fuck. A bunch of random time-traveling assassins that kill revolutionaries and political figures across the entire spectrum. BTW, wouldn't Guevara or MLK have superhuman powers in this world?

> "Defeated Akira"
Ha! S-s-s-so that means Akira is not dead yet, right guys?

I'm really worried that the ending won't be great. It's going to be hard for them pay off for all the build-up.

The Infernal Queens are most likely not time-travelers like Akira/Super Jaguar/Hyouma Yoshimura, but 20th century edgy bitches.

Still being mercenaries hired by governments from all sides of the spectrum and targeting political figures across the spectrum was stupid as fuck.

"Hurhurhur we slay evil and you are evil by association" that's freaking Akame Ga Kill!Justice-girl level of dumbfuckery.

Kinda wish that IQ girl from one of the last few episodes just flat-out died in the mech. Nobody liked her, not even fellow superhumans.

> Mfw we didn't see Soviet Sentai showing up

This is goofy as fuck.

Based Djins.

> he takes off his gloves before collapsing the bridge

Yeah, Infernal Queen being a kinda dumb organization was the whole point of it. It was such a shameful past for Super Jaguar, he was willing to kill that entire thing off and get erased with it.

Will we ever see something like Conrevo again?

It's out on Funi.

is this the sakuga show

Will we ever see something like Samurai Flamenco again?
I hope so in both cases.

Episode Summary:
Superhumans are now divided into two groups, and every superhuman is forced to choose a side. Jiro, as a beast, leads the war against humans, and now Kikko must face him - all according to Satomi's plan.

30 or so minutes until it all ends. I'm going to miss you guys

Aw fuck I overslept too long to make the OP myself.

Fuck, I enjoyed that. The animation was a bit QUALITY in some places, which I found weird for a finale, but it was a really nice way to wrap it up.

also HOLY FUCK the first ED playing during the end fight there

Happy end?

Well, I hope the HorribleBoobs-sub group will make it available soon before I have to watch it on Daisuki.

Time to watch it on Daisuki.

Oh NOW Kikko does something substantial

>can't see the episode until midday in more than 6 hours
Enjoy it anons, but if by chance this thread dies please make another one.

So did this episode TRIED invoke something like Civil War?

The inhuman superhumans went away.
But the human ones stayed back, to help humanity in their times of need.

Yes.

....Yep. Good ending. Better than I feared.
The "Last Song" (ZAQ x S1 ED) was a neat way to end the episode. Felt very nostalgic.

Very bad ending
Inhuman monsters weren't wiped
Jiro wasn't executed despite all shit he caused

The following questions are answered

How Emi managed to defeat the mighty Master Ultima, who boasted no superhuman could defeat him
She used Hoshinoko's power sealed inside the stuffed devil tiger.
What is Satomi
He is the explosive energy of the Tunguska asteroid. The natural evil superhuman counterpart to the manmade superhuman that is Jiro
What is Jiro
The explosive energy of the Little Boy bomb

I only care about one damn thing

Did Jiro and Kikko got married?

Luke and Leia.

...

Just finished first season and thought it was mediocre at its best although with a great OST does the second season improves it somehow?

...

Eh he came back, but you can see in the credits that Emi did too. Then again watching the episode, its pretty clear who Jiro picked and liked more

...

> Raito cameo as C-3PO
> Earth-chan cameo as R2D2
That is amazing and adorable

Seeing a soul-pearl buttscuking turtle dude at a radar comm station looks funny.

>Satomi
>Tunguska event

Neat

I felt that S2 was more consistently solid, but it didn't exactly fix the issues of the first season, just executed itself slightly better overall and had fewer downright bad episodes.

>Luke and Leia.

Oh my

...

Who?

...

...

Did Kikko ever went full evil? That needed an explanation.

Perfection, I ended up liking her new design better than her first season one.

Common now, just watch the episode. He chose Kikko

Cartoons.

...

From heroes to bank robbers to heroes again.

Some like it red hot.

...

How cute of them to still have the old weapons.

I like how godzilla is fighting mecha godzilla.

Nukes do not distinguish between friend and foe.
Let this be a lesson to all of you.

Kawaiijuu

Great conclusion. This scene in particular was excellent, and regardless of last minute tweests was well executed.

The idea of remembering superhumans through media while the artistic style of the series itself was comic-like was neat, too. Glad I stuck with this after initially dropping it during the first season.

Was the ending satisfiying? I'll be stuck in a bus for the next five hours, so no torrents for me.

Loved this last episode.

S2 as a whole, not quite as much. Still enjoyed it, but I really wish it had been more focused. S1's episodic nature, timeline hopping and worldbuilding had set up S2 really well, and I think it would have been better off with a more conventional narrative instead of continuing to do mostly one-off episodes. But who knows.

no

Man, did that boy get fat in the meantime.

Yes, it was.

Love this. Kikko-chan was MVP of the whole EP

Help us, Kikko-wan Kikko-Wan Kenobi.

Too much SEIGI for a physical body to contain.

Nice throwback to the first episode.

Has there been anymore dark kikko?

I fucking knew Aikawa was going to do the Kamen Rider Blade ending again.

It's a good way to calm down a child throwing a temper tantrum.

Nope

At least they show that Jiro returns in the end.

Amazing ending overall and it really delivered what people wanted.

Honestly, it's about as good as it could be. They had to rush a decent amount, but I was still satisfied overall.

It hides a terrible power.

Gender equality means that guys can now be little girls.

Stupid question, that ED picture was essentially an 'and the adventure continues' sort of thing, right?

I've been laughing at the idea of Jiro having to be invisible Godzilla for a while before he settles down into a human form again

Hironori Tanaka key animation

>At least they show that Jiro returns in the end.
But this was the worst part
Jiro was terrible character

Yutaka Nakamura key animation

Jiro redeemed himself when he became a superhuman and kicked Daitetsu's ass.

One or two Red Jaguars are okay, but a few thousand means time says STOP!

Somebody stop this nutter.
