Romeo is part of important staff in the anime project, or so I heard in interview. The writer also consulted to Romeo based on the interview.
Kind of what Gatoh did in kyoAni's FMP and Amaburi.
I really hope he will deliver, because he's the only thing that makes Rewrite worth it since it would be animated by 8bit and the director was the one who directed Grisaia.

I honestly enjoyed the differences in tone between the routes, the variation was nice, even though I know it was just because the writers made the routes without consulting each other much at all. Some of the inconsistencies between routes could use some smoothing out/explanations but other than that I wouldn't want it to be different.

It was as good as it could be in 13 episodes. Which is to say eh, they tried. Michiru got 2 episodes, Sachi got 1, Yumiko got 1 that was completely off the story rails (no turkey toss , never even left the school, just faked her death with a grenade), Makina got 2 and Yuuji killed her bitch mom, Angelic Howl got 3 accurate episodes and an off-rails last one where the club president's crazy dad took all the girls hostage in the school and Yuuji used Sachets savviness, Makina's knowledge of Morse code, and Michiru indestructible skull to set up a crazy difficult sniper shot on the guy.
