We're told she used to be a cold, harsh King, who sacrificed entire villages if that's what it took to save the kingdom. We're told she was a flawless, untouchable ruler, and that her knights couldn't understand her and thought her incapable of emotions. If all that were true, Saber would actually be a neat character, but the Saber we actually meet is nothing like that.

That was Urobuchi fucking up, he admitted in an interview he didn't get her character.

Well obviously. You cant make a waifu for the masses if she is completely incomprehensible and alien in her behavior. She still needs warm and understandable features.

Garden of Avalon. Now fuck off.

She freaks out just at the implication of sacrificing innocent lives, going so far as to challenge Caster's hideout by herself because Archer, Rin and Shirou agreed it was bad timing. That was Urobuchi fucking up?

The Saber we actually meet has given up on her lifestyle and wants to delete her history (and afterwards has resigned herself to what is, but still is not leading any nation in a war). She's here as a Servant, not as a human nor as king of britain.
The battle of Camlann changed her.

...

She's not King of Fuyuki. The populace of Fuyuki is not hers to sacrifice.

what

Saber in Fate/Zero is post Mordred's death and depression. It stirs her human heart without her realization. She gets more depressed and demoralized for FSN, that's the only reason why Shirou has a chance to fuck her.

The backstory is written in Garden of Avalon.

Nasu is a hack.

The book that sent into denial to Shiroufags.

>implying Saber was anything like OP post in FSN
At least in Zero she was a good character and not bland fucking waifu bait.

That is what I implied, yes.

We're told that anime will bring us happines.

She's far from bland waifubait in Garden of Avalon. Probably why the 'Saberfags' hate it because she loves some sex god fuccboi and not a bland self insert.

Read the VN.

I have.

>and not a bland self insert.

Explain.

Shirou is a bland self insert. Not as bland as Shiki, but still there.

...

I like Shirou a lot and Nasu's decision to try to sweep that 'romance' down the rug has been the best so far.

...

Romances in general are the worst part of F/SN and all of its spin-offs. In Fate I can't see Shirou settling down with any of the girls. Rin is probably the best match for him but even then his ideals tend to win out.

Britains doomed anyways. Even if she undid her rule the next gal/guy would have it crumble around them.

fuck i really wanted she saved Iri

F/SN is the worst of all, just a shitty cliche harem

what do people see in this chuuni shit?

>fate kids will defend this
