Best Vizard reporting in.
Why doesn't Kubo give him his own manga?

Why doesn't Kubo give him his own manga?
hes great but gets bullied like hisaGay. though hisagi deserves it.
random mayuri theory
Yama has been proven to have a soft heart that grew since the yhwach fight 1k years ago. Take his fight with wonderweiss. he said ' im glad you no longer resemble a child , i can kill you without regret now'. Massive foreshadowing. Also what he said to/of Ayon ' a creature that exists only to take life? pathetic'. I think he battered yhwach into a baby and then couldnt finish him off. mayuri has something to do with it. at the start of this arc look at the hate on mayuris face when he shittalks yama. stranger still he gets away with doing it. mayuris words were 'thats incorrect CC, this happened because 1000years ago you COULDNT kill that man.' he couldnt bring himself to slaughter a baby. also note who is saying this to yama - mayuri whose theme is BABIES AND BIRTH.
>implying
We won't even see his Bankai.
The Vizards were such wasted potential. Not only has Shinji barely fought but we've only seen him fight one person with his mask and it was just to ward off an already injured Grimmjow.
I don't think any of the Vizard even used their masks/Bankai in conjunction.
ward off? he battered him
evah ydaerla ew .lliw ew
That'd be disappointing. What's so special about it?
i was joking about how its prob so hax that we have already seen it
I wish we had more time to delve into the backstories of some characters.
we might. i still yearn for the OG gotei flashback when they raped Yhwach. now that ichigo has got shitwhipped we have a chance of that
Theories on his bankai?
Time reversal? Ability reversal? Full blown reality manipulation?
Full on King Crimson
shikai : reverse senses
bankai: reverse phenomena
me too. but kubo is a great world builder. we care more for the so-called side characters than the protagonist.
>reverse phenomena
He best be the one to help take down Gerard with that bankai
Bleach is hardly the only series, especially Shonen, where that's the case. Though he had an interesting and rather unique character arc in the Substitude and Fullbring arc and might get another one after the Wahrwelt invasion. Maybe one that's tied to fix the issues of the war and the afterlife.
You could have showed him a picture of Yhwach instead, since that is what the Almighty does in practice.
it would be awesome. its the Kubo thing to do. Zaraki, byakuya and muh hitsugay did nothing...now shinji who has 'le jobbed' this whole arc will take him down
You could say the same thing about half the cast, Shinji is nothing special.
If Shinji could do that, he would have done it against Aizen.
Oh yeah, the Vizards were a thing once weren't they? Seems like such a long time ago now.
Basically no one went full power against Aizen, that isnt much of an argument
I hope she survives this fight. Things aren't looking so good.
Except everyone else had a reason.
Shunsui's Bankai would have caught a lot of other people in it with no guarantee of killing Aizen
Yamamoto's Bankai would have destroyed the world with no guarantee of killing Aizen
Most of the Vizards were already worn out from fighting the Espada/Menos
Urahara's Bankai doesn't seem like it would have done shit against Aizen
And well everyone else tried their hardest and still got shit on.
How the fuck did Komamura become a captain?
>How the fuck did Komamura become a captain?
By earning it.
Almighty already does that. At this point we're just waiting for GER to pop out of someone's ass so that this shitty arc can end.
>shitty arc
>implying
On what merit? Bankai? He's won one fight in the series and that was against some fodder arrancar. Yamamoto bitched out Shunsui/Byakuya/Kenpachi for losing their haoris and the lieutenants for losing against much stronger opponents. But somehow dog-captain losing every fight he's been in, even with the odds in his favor, is acceptable for one of the 13 strongest shinigami in SS.
Shinji fags are depressing to look at. Up there with Sakura cucks.
>vizards hyped up
>they are all jobbers
Where the fuck is kido cpt?
>won one fight in the series
That's actually a feat considering most of the cast are total jobbers besides a few notable monsters.
The problem is everyone was expecting Ichigo-tier mask powers despite Shinji flat-out stating Ichigo was a true hybrid while his group was imperfect. Besides a few standouts (Hachigen) they were never meant to be stronger than average for the Gotei.
Either kubo forgot about him or just wrote him out because he looked silly
>(You)
what is this in the bottom panel? it looks giant whatever it is. this is the beginning of the first quincy invasion of the final arc, taking place when ichigo is fighting kirge
What do you think the dads will do? Will we see them soon?
It's a fucking boot you moron, POV shot of a Sternritter looking down at the Seireitei.
Not really sure, haven't seen much of anyone but Ichigo the past few chapters. Gerard cliffhanger really needs some resolution.
I wonder how he will be defeated. I'm thinking Ichibe might step in
It's Yhwach's foot. He's in the sky looking down on SS a few chapters after right before the invasion.
The Soul King's foot.
That would be an interesting turn, although I think Gerard could even be trouble for Ichibe. There's always a chance Aizen might step in...
He only lost against aizen (twice), his fight with kenpachi was cutoff and he wasn't serious against tousen since he didn't want to kill him.
Doggy needs one last hurrah, hope he goes on a suicide run and buys time for everybody.
Considering Ichigo's current situation, Isshin is probably going to save him with about 50% of dying in the process.
Once again, because Sajin Komamura is the most underrated character in the show and I'm morally obligated to defend him:
His power is completely unsuited to 1-on-1 fights with human-sized opponents, which is 99% of the fights he's been on, and on the flipside far more helpful when it comes to doing HIS ACTUAL FUCKING JOB, which is dealing with the occasional Menos Grande and once in a blue moon maybe a rogue Adjuchas.Against a fuckhuge army of lesser hollows, or a singular huge one, his Shikai/Bankai fucking rocks. Against a human-sized enemy fast enough to react to it, it's basically a giant walking target and/or plain useless (Bankai and Shikai respectively). That he's managed to hold his own and even beat people with that disadvantage is a testament to his skills.
Now let's take a look at his battle record, shall we?
-Throws Shikai against Kenpachi, Tõsen unleashes Bankai and gets BTFO, he unleashes Bankai and cockblocks Kenpachi before he can kill Tõsen.. Then he retreats because Yama released his Shikai.
-Jobs to Aizen the first time, much like everyone else.
-Rekts Chow Neng Pow with no particular effort
-Breaks even with Hollowified Tõsen until Hisagi finishes him off
-Gets owned by Aizen again, again much like everyone else
-Blows Bambietta off and then disappears.
So, some fine "jobbing" there is here.
So wait, is Shinji strong and just jobs for convenience's sake, or is he actually as weak as he appears?
He seems to be nowhere near Isshin/pre-Hogyoku Aizen/Kyoraku/Unohana tier despite being quite an old captain.
Almighty is more like D4C.
King Crimson doesn't have anything to do with reversal though, so I don't see why Shinji's bankai would be comparable to it.
exactly. everyone was already battered.
Well he's nowhere near as old as Kyouraku or Unohana, so that's not really a fair comparison. The only fight he's ever 'won' was against unreleased Grimmjow so there's not really a lot to go off of in terms of powerlevel.
Gin wasn't as old as those two either, but he was still just below them in terms of skill and overall power. We don't know Isshin or Urahara's respective ages, but I doubt they're much older than Shinji as well.
Shinji's shikai is unimpressive, too.
Kubo needs to give him a bankai first
I agree that he's fantastic. Probably the most frustrating part about the mess Bleach has become is how illogical the characters have to be for the plot to work. Hmmm, fighting Aizen the most hype, powerful character in the known universe? Better leave my mask off AND not use my Bankai!
Sakanade alone would've allowed him to kill Aizen if Shinji didn't act like a fucking retard all the time
THIS THIS THIS.
also are my Unohana bros in the house?
I'm still so fucking mad about that bankai.
mate he had shinji as a character since before bleach started. he appeared on 1st arc art pages. he has a bankai. and it is going to rek shit.
His fight with Kenpachi lasted long enough that in terms of brute force they were able to fight and endure as equals. I think he was serious against Tousen and overpowered, but that's to be expected because they're at the same level of power and Tousen got Hollow abilities.
The Vizards were tired, but Love and Ogre guy didn't use their Bankais to begin with against Starrk. Urahara's Bankai could've been used to at least attempt to do something, like say try to deconstruct Aizen so they could remove the Hogyoku from him. Clearly Kubo a.) hadn't thought far enough ahead at that point and hadn't thought up Bankais for his characters yet or b.) his pacing was awful enough to force him to rush a conclusion instead of exploring everybody's abilities. Either way it's shoddy writing and forced the characters to make completely irrational decisions.
we can only hope for a flashback. its a strange fucking thing - appearing to melt only skin but not hair or eyes...maybe it was the personification/materialization of the lust of battle ? actually i have another theory (pic related)
WHAT
DOES
IT
DO
Yeah, I don't know. I don't really understand what your theory leads to, though.
No idea. The most common theory is acid, but that isn't very impressive.
love is ogre guy. rose is the music fag
Don't really see how Gin even comes close to Kyouraku or Unohana in terms of power, his specialty is in one-hit kills and not much else.
It suffers more from the 'explain my technique' syndrome than any other Shikai.
We've never really seen Gin fight seriously, but he had no effort pushing back Ichigo in bankai, and also dominated from start to finish when he fought Hitsugaya.
He fights dirty, like Shunsui, but the speed of his Zanpakuto gives him another massive advantage. I'd say he's pretty close to top-tier.
>explain my technique
Aizen was able to easily overcome Sakanade.
Shit my bad. We still haven't seen Love's Bankai either, have we?
clear waters = unohanas shikai. tenjiros waters of healing.
clear waters turning black = her bankai.
shiva wandered the universe - like unohana did - looking for strong fighters to fight.
We've seen Rose's bankai, though.
it's shit
He was still under an illusion the whole time. Only thing that would have changed was that Momo would be stabbed a bit earlier.
>Breaks even with Hollowified Tõsen until Hisagi finishes him off
You're not serious are you? Masked Tosen was breaking even with a BANKAI. Then when he used his resurreccion he offhandedly blocked a blow from Tenken, which broke the blade, and then one-shotted Komamura with his free hands. He wasn't even remotely serious and Komamura was still on his deathbed after one attack. The only reason Komamura is alive is because Tosen was so distracted by his newfound vision that he didn't sense Hisagi sneak up on him.
the other user who replied wasnt me. its weird man, surely loves shouldnt been oni based but it seems kenny took that one.
its fine if you apply real world logic to piercing your own eardrums. youd probably be crying on the floor if it happened to you. your balance would be fucked etc etc
Also shinigirly asses just because.
Yeah but there's also no way to tell for certain that the target you're deconstructing is Aizen. Aizen was a cocky son of a bitch but I doubt he'd sit there and tank a Bankai just for shits and giggles.
It wasn't masterfully written but I can sort of see why the major fighters wouldn't use their bankais there.
Tosen was Hollowfied perfectly by Hogyoku. The fact that Komamura was able to stand up to normal version Tosen as long as he did alone shows Komamura's strength.
Shinji's Vizard mask alone gives him Bankai-level strength. I assume Tosen's the same way and improved, if only because he got to receive a perfect Hollowfication whereas Shinji was an experiment.
shunsuis bankai engulfed the vandenreichen realm. even askin shit himself during it.
Didn't stop the Captains from stabbing Aizen right through the heart when in fact it was an illusion. I don't think that's an excuse considering the damage they did to Momo.
That's kinda the argument here, Askin wasn't directly in it and he shat himself, so we can consider that a 'safe distance.' If he'd used it vs. Aizen all of SS's fighters would've been taken out.
>Aizen was able to easily overcome Sakanade.
After Shinji explained to him exactly how it works.
Aizen said it himself. Even if you're aware of Kyouka Suigetsu's abilities and its activation there's still no way to guard against it or prepare for it. The Captains were doing all they could to combat Aizen, he just had the perfect counter ready which is why he got that far in the first place.
The bigger question is why did Ichigo wait until Hitsugaya stabbed Momo to say anything? He obviously saw that shit was wrong from the start but waited until it was over to yell out.
>The bigger question is why did Ichigo wait until Hitsugaya stabbed Momo to say anything?
KS manipulates all 5 senses, user, including hearing.
askin was the only one to knock swordnegro on his ass. if he was shitting himself then it was for good reason. and yes its not like the SS guys were doing anything anyway. kubo himself said that he wanted us to wonder if kyoraku could take out aizen with bankai
Shit
I never even thought of that
But they weren't doing all they could because there were still a few Vizard Bankais that could've been activated. Although yeah, I wonder if Rose's Bankai would've done shit to Aizen, and maybe Shinji's Shikai is more effective in a group situation than his Bankai, impossible to argue until we know what it is. Your argument makes sense.
Still, no excuse for Urahara not to have used his Bankai. Even if he's risking getting Keikaku'd, he was still willing to stab at Aizen and cut him with a sword, it's no difference, even if Aizen can stop it you have to give it your all.
True, but at the time, Shunsui's options were either a.) use a suicide technique that would potentially murder himself and all his friends and maybe Aizen, or b.) use a more conservative strategy to pair up his abilities with his buddies. Had Aizen not been using hypnosis, the latter was viable and it makes sense he'd take the safer route.
he wouldve fucked aizen up man. he didnt use it because he wouldve murdered 70% of the gotei doing it.
Where do you think Kubo gets his information about fighting and swordplay?
I legitimately wonder if it would have done shit to Aizen.
Aizen is literally immortal with the Hogyouku so the first two acts wouldn't do much to him. Then the reiatsu drain would kill every single one of the captains long before it even affected Aizen. And the throat cutting thing might actually kill him but there's still no guarantee with the Hogyouku.
Ginjo's just full of shit all the time. That's not breaking news
A dumpster, along with the rest of his ideas.
Here's your upvote
Kyoraku fought Aizen pre-Hogyoku activation, so he wasn't immortal yet. That would've been the best time to do it.
I wonder what Aizen's Bankai is.
I will never forget the fake spoilers that said his bankai was time travel.
A regular sword that makes you think it has some broken ass powers.
Speaking of Aizen, do we know if he still has the Hogyoku within him?
Pretty sure, that's the whole reason he was bound to the lowest level of hell or whatever, he literally can't be executed so they can only lock him up with all his powers sealed
Yeah it's totally only Ginjo who says retarded things.
But he's right.
This, and remember the fact Tousen casually merked Grimmjow's arm
I feel like Kubo was kind of playing on Kenpachi's retardedness here, it's humorous/terrifying that Kenpachi is so ridiculously strong that he just has to hold a sword with two hands instead of one to boost his power.
A better example would be the crock of shit that was Ichigo fighting Renji and Ichigo having flashbacks to Urahara comparing swords to guns and saying that all attacks have an 'ammo limit.'
Wasn't he saying how many times an attack could be done, without pause inbetween it? I mean, he is kinda right about it, right?
But he's right though? No matter how many times you swing the sword there's eventually going to be an opening.
Yeah but it was explained in a convoluted, drawn-out way that never comes back again, even implied. Take instead Ikkaku vs. Ichigo, where the spear splits. There's actual combat depth there, adding dimensionality to a fight that would otherwise be about range. Instead of having a four-page, drawn out exposition on how an opponent will leave themselves open, we see in one beautiful spread what Ikkaku's strength is and what Ichigo's weakness is.
Of course, that battle ends exactly like Renji's does, with Ichigo screaming loudly and making an explosion happen and disregarding all logic and strategy, but that's because Kubo doesn't know how to end fights in anything outside 'willpower.'
(Kind of an exaggeration, there are some occasional strategy-based twist endings for fights which are alright, but essentially Kubo runs out of ideas for what to do with each character's power pretty quickly.)
His character arc was great, until the Shinigami came and fucked up his progression.
>that never comes back again, even implied.
It literally does though, Ichigo directly references it when he trained against Jackie Tristan
Since we're somewhat discussing the Fullbring arc, why didn't Ginjo steal Orihime's Fullbring? It would have made him an incredibly versatile fighter. His plan would have been much easier to pull off if he had her power.
What is current Sado's power level? Is he captain level?
It's probably not a Fullbring, although it has many qualities of one. Unlike Chad, Kubo never confirmed the source of Orihime's power.
