If the air was moving much slower than the spinning globe then we would constantly experience massive winds in the direction opposite of the spin, which is observably false, so what you are really complaining about here is not the planes themselves, but the idea that air is spinning just as fast as the ground, which is an entirely different question.

If you are talking about the way into space, satellites have a "fairing", a disposable aerodynamic shell made of much tougher metal that separates from the rocket once it's out of the atmosphere. If you are talking about re-entry, they do. Only the largest objects (think space stations) have the mass to not melt during re-entry.
6: The atmosphere is moving as fast as the earth's surface. It's the most basic principle of drag that whatever is revisiting your movement also gains speed in the direction you are moving. The Earth is not so new that the atmosphere wouldn't have succumbed to this yet, and what would stop it if the atmosphere was to stop spinning? The other atmosphere that is also moving at the same speed in the same direction?
Planes have the same effect, where they actually share the rotation of the Earth, so flying north-to-south has no additional effects compared to flying east-west. Even flying west-east, they're really just flying slower than the earth is spinning, not completely moving the opposite direction.
7: Why would anyone want to convince us that the Earth is flat, as opposed to round? Every other body is round, why is Earth different?

I don't think most people understand the mathematics. You should be able to measure an 8 inch drop per mile due to the curve of the earth. There are many interesting experiments on YouTube including "Balls Out Physics" that go into depth on these figures.
There are many interesting thought experiments from light houses to airplanes to space travel that all make you consider this supposed "curvature" that none of us have ever experienced. We are only "told" that it's there.

These are both not arguments.
Both are explained by our own "defective" site. We see all things in perspective which is why it's easy to pull the Globe Earth lie so easily.
If you are at the ocean edge and see the boat go "over the horizon" you only need to pull out a high zoom camera, or telescope and.....ding-dong....the boat comes right back into view.
Any perceived "curve" that we see is due to our eyes seeing in perspective points.. They teach this in art class as well. There is a "vanishing point"....not because there actually is one....but because that is how our eyes see.

I'm not a physicist so I can't argue those scientific points but it's compelling information. I know the argument of "no atmosphere, no heat" and he touches on that point.
As far as all our GPS gooodies....by virtue of the flat earth, all those services could be handle with towers; floating GPS units, etc. Google has even floated the idea of a Wi-fi "blimp" and things like that.
