What else is he supposed to be doing? Both he and Banks have both moved on (or rather, been forced out) from UKIP.
I reckon they're both waiting for the opportune time to launch a new post-Brexit political party. Let him shitpost in peace for a while.

To an extent, but it was not for want of trying to defend it. The Empire was irrecoverable after Indian Independence, because it could no longer garner a profit, and no longer even had much of a potential for the development of autarky.

The Indian Independence movement didn't have a great deal of support during, or even immediately after, the war. The British had reevaluated the despotism that had existed prior to Amritsar, and were finally introducing some forms of responsible government. India could have remained in the Empire as a dominion (though its days as a colony were certainly over, and to be honest had been since 1858).

No, we need someone with charisma. Someone like Waters might look like she ticks all the right boxes but she's electoral poison. It doesn't matter how ideologically right on you are if you're stuck on the fringes. We already have Britain First etc for that anyway.

Ae fond kiss, and then we sever; Ae fareweel, alas, for ever! Deep in heart-wrung tears I'll pledge thee, Warring sighs and groans I'll wage thee. Who shall say that Fortune grieves him, While the star of hope she leaves him? Me, nae cheerful twinkle lights me; Dark despair around benights me.
I'll ne'er blame my partial fancy, Naething could resist my Nancy: But to see her was to love her; Love but her, and love for ever. Had we never lov'd sae kindly, Had we never lov'd sae blindly, Never met-or never parted, We had ne'er been broken-hearted.
Fare-thee-weel, thou first and fairest! Fare-thee-weel, thou best and dearest! Thine be ilka joy and treasure, Peace, Enjoyment, Love and Pleasure! Ae fond kiss, and then we sever! Ae fareweeli alas, for ever! Deep in heart-wrung tears I'll pledge thee, Warring sighs and groans I'll wage thee.

I once loved a lass and I loved her so well I hated all others who spoke of her ill But now she's rewarded me well for my love For she's gone to be wed to another
I watched as my love did to the church go With bride and bride-maidens she made a fine show And I followed her on with a heart full of woe To see my love be wed to another To see my love be wed to another
I watched as my love did sit down to dine I sat down beside her and poured out the wine And I drank to the wee lass that should have been mine For now she is wed to another
Oh stop says the groomsman if you take my word Would you venture your life on the point of a sword For courting too slowly you have lost this fair maiden Begone you will never enjoy her Begone you will never enjoy her
The lads of yon forest, they ask it of me How many strawberries grow round the salt sea But I answer them back with a tear in my eye How many ships sail in the forest?
Go dig me a grave all large wide and deep And cover it over with wild flowers sweet And lay me down gently for to take a long sleep For that's the best way to forget her
So we dug him a grave all large wide and deep And covered it over with wild flowers sweet And we laid him down gently for to take his long sleep And maybe by now he's forgotten
And maybe by now he's forgotten

Lyrics
The people's flag is deepest red It shrouded oft our martyred dead And ere their limbs grew stiff and cold Their hearts' blood dyed to every fold
Then raise the scarlet standard high Beneath it's folds we'll live and die Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer We'll keep the red flag flying here
It waved above our infant might When all ahead seemed dark as night It witnessed many a deed and vow We must not change it's color now
Then raise the scarlet standard high Beneath it's folds we'll live and die Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer We'll keep the red flag flying here
It well recalls the triumphs past It gives the hope of peace at last The banner bright the symbol plain Of human right and human gain
Then raise the scarlet standard high Beneath it's folds we'll live and die Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer We'll keep the red flag flying here
It suits today the meek and base Whose minds are fixed on pelf and place To cringe beneath the rich man's frown And haul that sacred emblem down
Then raise the scarlet standard high Beneath it's folds we'll live and die Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer We'll keep the red flag flying here
With heads uncovered swear we all To bare it onward till we fall Come dungeons dark or gallows grim This song shall be our parting hymn
Then raise the scarlet standard high Beneath it's folds we'll live and die Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer We'll keep the red flag flying here

>We need to keep launching an endless stream of right wing parties that get less than 0.5% of the vote and fold within 5 years And where has this ever got us?
I'm not saying that you should give up on principles to get elected. I'm saying that a charismatic leader is far more valuable than an ideologically pure leader. Farage might not say all the right things all the time, but at least when he talks, people listen. You can still run him on a good manifesto. But charisma always "trumps" ideology as far as voters are concerned.
Find me a more charismatic and popular right winger than Farage.
I just think it's an unpractical idea i'm sorry. I think many people make an almost religious folly with their faith in these sorts of things. Consider you and the people you respect might be wrong my friend.
