SKYKING General Not Happening Edition

It's (probably) not happening? Get comfy and tune in.

Should not that there is an E-4B Nightwatch airborne right now, btw.

Bumping for an honest Skyking

The only reference to Skyking/Skybird on the CIA FOIA.

cia.gov/library/readingroom/docs/CIA-RDP69B00041R001900130012-2.pdf

It shows Duck Butt rescue planes (they followed U-2s) getting Skyking messages.

So, we've got another piece of evidence that Skyking messages do go out to spy planes and supporting craft.

sounded like a brit just did a test
cool

So, from this.

Skyking goes out to a plane, then plane transmits to Skybird, who is the one that gives the Skyking

DID I HEAR SKY KANGZ???

EAM:

A42H?TR5FTYTTPEHOLTML27NSB7S7H

very interesting, do post more if you find them. Rare info there.

This may no longer be the case, the HFGCS changed a lot over time, but from that file, it looks like it used to

>This may no longer be the case, the HFGCS changed a lot over time, but from that file, it looks like it used to

Most likely, yeah.

Though, the Skybird messages I've heard lately have been from planes going to a ground station, though, so perhaps Skybird is still the callsign of those that give Skyking (i.e., Andrews and other large strategic air bases).

good job cleaning up the OP pasta, saved.

which skybird messages? any recordings?

also this link has more info rn

rather than the pdf

Well lads, these past 2 days are the most active I've seen. Looks like a happening is upon us

EAM on 4724 but i don't hear it on 11175

Missed recording them as they're so quick and short, but I have times:

Tuesday 12th and 19th this month, both at 6 PM (QLD Oz). my time.

>Skybird, this is so and so, phonetic code, go word, authenticate, out.

Is close to how it was.

so fucking hype

skybird could very likely be used still then. Skyking will never respond to ops, so they still need a middleman to go back and forth, skybird needs instructions too. good catch

you heard them on the Utwente SDR or home radio? was told we miss alot of messages on the WebSDR

Every skyking thread:
>waste 30 minutes listening to silence
>occasional bleep or static
>make up shit on Sup Forums claiming you heard a triple skyking
Repeat 3x daily forever

its also to get people to listen to other ham channels

Milkyway
Glenmore
Sulfate
Shotgun
Original
Orange
Rareness
Quickling
Mailbag
Sheridan
Challenger
Congame
Immortal
Parasite
Tollroad
Chipshot

wonder if it will ever loop back around to Milkyway

Utwente

You'd miss them if you weren't listening for the several seconds it lasted. 8992 or 11175.

Both being at the around the same time and day is interesting.

I'm thinking Skybird is still the other side of the transmissions, yeah.

lel a EAM was going on while you posted that

vocaroo.com/i/s0Cw7G8b9iqE

3 EAMs in 15-20 minutes.

Status: Happening Possible.

so any of you guys getting into radios?

Been monitoring stuff like this and many other radio comms since the early 1970s so, yeah, you could say I'm into radios, sure.
