Any literature tips regarding germanic history and culture?

Also, when will you quit being a beta?

>tfw you are into 2 days of no-masturbation and want to keep going but flesh is weak

how can I avoid falling back into that mistake that is compulsive masturbation again?

also

>read the bible

is that a way to improve?

I keep relapsing on smoking It's not fair

2 months into strength training. Feels good man.

whenever i see white tourists in tokyo, they're always fat, unkempt and lacking testosterone
godspeed /sig/
you're making pol great again

try e-cigarettes, they are a good gateway tool to stop smoking

what has worked for me is meditating for 10 minutes whenever I feel the urge to masturbate.

Started lifting 7 months ago and doing 1 week of nofap/noporn usually. Started looking more into nutrition and hormonal activity from nutrition. I was already quite educated on philosophical and cultural subjects and history but my physical side was heavily lacking. Healthy body, healthy mind.

Now I'm on planning on giving up porn completely, but I'm not sure whether it's better to start fucking random girls or just fapping without porn. No potential gf candidates atm, so that option is ruled out.

>Hobbes
absolutely disgusting

try nofap, but masturbating without porn is already a step in the right direction

No trash food for almost a month already so losing weight fast.
Running swimming=feels good man.
The sleeping cycle is fucked: I work evening and red eye shifts so is a mess.
I have always read a lot so that thing is covered. No masturbation since I can cream pie my wife every time I want.
Trying to red pill her again but it’s difficult

>neet during 3 years after college
>getting drunk 2/3 times per week, nightclubs with friends but alone too
>horrendous beer belly
>say enough one day
>got a job related to my degree
>exercise
>good promotion after 2 years of hard work
>no holidays
>always on call
>no social live
>no time for gym
>no gf
>pretty tired of everything
>too much stress

I dont know if it was worth it anons

Try to find balance in your life,
Drinking, masturbating and procrastinating can take up a lot of time which could be used for literature, learning to play an instrument, meditation, etc. With many activities you can meet new people.

I'm doing nofap already, but obviously you need to release sometimes. Which option is better, fucking random grills or just fapping without porn? Sex makes good testo-gains, but it's a bit degenerate if you go around being a gigolo. Fapping seems degenerate in all forms too, though.

you should wait till you're with someone for more than just dumping your load, have patience. Ejaculating is not a necessity, time you spend fapping OR screwing random grills can be spent more productively

Any suggestion regarding what to do if you always wake up feeling tired?

>literature, learning to play an instrument, meditation

I literally dont have time for that.
After the promotion I haven't touched a single book in months. I'm a team leader and if the weekend shift don't know how to do something they call me to fix their shit.
They pay me a lot but who cares, I dont have time to spend it and im gonna die soon of a hearth attack.

Sometimes improving your life too much is a mistake. I should have stopped when I was an office wagecuck.

>normal sleeping cycle

that shit is so difficult to achieve, i just can't do it

>7:15 am in argentina
>i still don't go to bed
>probably i will go to sleep at 9AM approximately
>will wake up around 4PM
>repeat

it is I just can't sleep if i am not heavily tired
if i go to bed without being tired i can be trying to fall sleep like 2 or 3 hours, its awful

and then, if i somehow can fall sleep at time, i need to struggle to do the same the next night

btw
>no neet, im studying laws

- Go to bed and wake up at the same time. Going to bed on time is even more important than waking up.
- Drink water immediately after waking up.
- Take a cold shower.
- Make sure you eat your major meals at the same time every day. Ideally the last meal has already been some time ago, before you go to bed.
- Before going to bed, don't look at any screens for 30-60 minutes.
- Meditating before going to sleep can also work well.
- Build a morning routine or habit. It doesn't matter what exactly you do, just make it something you can do even dead tired. Stick to doing it and once you're done, you'll feel ready.

All of them worked to great effect on me, so trying to do them all might be overkill. Try them and give them time to work. Anything from 2-5 days should start to show effects on you. Especially the bedtime takes longer to work, but it's the most effective one in my experience.

I've just started trying to go to bed between 12 and 1 and being up at 9. I work in Red-Team security, so getting up early thankfully isnt an issue.

Thanks for the tips user

sleepyti.me
>get at least 8 hours of sleep per night
>sleep cycles

Sleep Apnea is a possibility, imo talk to a doctor

i sleep from 12 to 8.
feels good man

I have a similar problem to this guy
I work manual labor 12 hours every night and get maybe 3 days off every two weeks, and it's only one day and I just end up sleeping for 22 hours and shitposting the other 2 before starting the horrible cycle over again.

I keep having to wreck my body with energy drinks, soda and shit tier microwave dinner to stay awake and alive.

what do? I was thinking about buying books to read on break but I don't know how to fix my food and drink problem.

Still having trouble getting to sleep on time but I have picked up running every other day again and I have been going to bible study and reading some classic novels in my free time instead of vidya. Also have begun building an AR15 and began practicing kendo with some guys on campus.

if its good money, just do it for couple of years. for food i would make sandwiches with brown bread and soup.

have you been saving money? have you been investing money?

The worst possible thing you can do is work paycheck to paycheck. If that's what you are doing, you need to stop doing that and reduce your expenses.

youtu.be/W3Rrfgbn18w

You need to invest that money, man. Even something as simple as buying a ton of bitcoin could let you retire in a couple years.

I would stop going on Sup Forums altogether, because pictures can easily trigger you. Apart from that it's just about changing routine, because you're used to strangling your ostrich every day.

>Strangling your ostrich
Thanks, Poland.

That’s a dangerous gamble man. Property is better.

Get a vape pen, get some vape without nicotine though. If you get it with nicotine you will impulsively buy a fedora along with a copy of the god delusion

property isn't necessarily always a great investment. buying a house wasn't such a good investment if you bought in 2007

>food for thought

>started keto a while ago
>didnt jerk off for over a month
>jerked off, then again 2 weeks later, then again a week later

Reeeeeeeeee

Its like im back where i started. The weight loss on the other hand is amazing

My 7:00 A.M. morning run was successful. I encourage everyone to do something similar if possible. My productivity and concentration is much better today.

I know what you are going trough. The first 3 to 7 days are the worst. Every time you feel the urge, try doing something different you enjoy or do like 5 sit ups. It is possible to quit but hard.

watching the video about keeping motivated I find myself wondering what my goal even is?
Im dealing with a pretty severe anxiety disorder and I find it difficult to keep work without suffering constant panic attacks, this has sort of crippled my ability and planning for a career and so I feel like I don't have an overall goal to plan towards.

>Every moment think steadily as a Roman and a man to do what thou hast in hand with perfect and simple dignity, and feeling of affection, and freedom, and justice; and to give thyself relief from all other thoughts.
>And thou wilt give thyself relief, if thou doest every act of thy life as if it were the last, laying aside all carelessness and passionate aversion from the commands of reason, and all hypocrisy, and self-love, and discontent with the portion which has been given to thee.

Marcus Aurelius, The Meditations.

No. It's not fair. But what are you going to do about it?

>Fall back and continue poisoning yourself? Repeat your cycle of failure next time you want to quit?

or

>Suck it up. Drive on. Find a way to adapt and overcome, be it e-cigarrettes, exercise, diversion, or what have you.

It's not fair. It is life. Make what you will.

Congrats Bruder.

I remember you in this thread yesterday. We all wished you well so thanks for reporting back.

good job, bud! keep on

I started boxing this month in addition to exercising regulary 2-3 times a week. I started waking up every morning before 7:00 and haven't had a drop of alcohol in 2 months now. Feels real good man.

>laid off the smoking and drinking almost completely
Days seem so much longer now.
And quality really matters more than quantity. The weekly pipe or cigar and the occasionnal glass of wine taste infinitely better than any chained cheap beer and fifth rolled cig of the day ever did.
Now back to more walking until I get some of my focus and breath capacity back so I can pick up the mandolin and flute where I left them after years of NEETing ; and get in proper shape to start working abroad.
How has your day been so far /sig/?

I started using a vape pen with flavored CBD oil.

CBD is great and as far as anyone can tell its not bad for you at least. It has some potential medical benefits without the psychoactive effects of THC. If you don't wanna try CBD (its been helping my dad with his leg pain and neuropathy) then just get plain vape oil from a reputable source.

I'm not sure I trust any of that nicotine juice from China. You can get CBD that's made in America, its potentially good for you and there's nothing addictive about it. Check it out. I personally feel its much, much safer than taking plain oil (they call it juice but I think that sounds gay as fuck) or nicotine oil.

Should I stop smoking weed? I feel like its not that harmful to me, I'm only smoking once every 1-2 weeks, but I could just be extremely un-self-aware. Help me out anons

How is tattoo acceptance in nippon? As bad as soke people claim?

Sleep hygiene my Argie friend, go to bed at 9 every day regardless if you feel like it or not, make sure your room is completely dark and turn off all electrical appliances, sleeping is better in a cold room, so if you can regulate the temperature, take a cold shower before bed and don't use laptops or any other electrical devices at least 30 minutes before you hit the hay, it messes up your sleep, also have a pre bed routine that you do so your body knows its time for sleep, once you do this for a few days you'll start feeling sleepy at 9pm all the time. Our brains love routines.

ive been doing it and it worked for over a year, i had a good routine, go to bed at 10, read til midnight, sleep til 8. but one day it just stopped working, for 3 months now i do nothing but fap and midday nap. i relapsed super hard into a looser again.
i think you cant escape from real yourself, even after years of being straight.

Thanks guys! The encouragement really helped. Will do it again tomorrow.

I just now realized the last time I heard from one of my friends was Christmas last year.

Fucking random girls, why not try amd just get a stable fuck buddy until the right girl to train comes along.

I say train because no woman is a perfect match find one that ticks most of the boxes and mold her to your taste, they follow easily when you lead as a strong male in there life.

Is it adviseable to date uglier girls to gain confidence with girls? Or will it actually decrease my self-esteem?

Actually after sig, he would not be sitting behind the computer anymore wasting time...

You should read up on how habits work. Your old habits never really die. When you force a new habit into your life, you're not destroying the old habit. You making a new habit that has a higher priority than the old one.

But the old one is still there. You need to suck it up and start again. You're not going to be starting from scratch, but it'll be hard. Maybe you need to change your habit a bit.

I had exactly the same problem as you a few weeks ago. I just stopped doing my routine. I was neglecting myself and I wasn't clear enough on what I wanted. So I redid parts of my routine and gave myself more room to breath. I try to be as explicit as possible about my goals now, because I also made sure I know exactly what I am working towards. And don't overdo it.

>I think you can't escape from real yourself
You're just victimizing yourself. Go make a tiny a goal towards what you want to do today and do it.
I once started over by making my goal that every day for a week, I would imagine and think about what I would like in my life for 5 minutes. Regardless of whatever I did that day, as long as I did that I had achieved the goal of the day. It was alright.

That's pathetically tiny, isn't it? But that's how you sometimes have to make progress. It doesn't matter how small it is. Never stop. And if you stop, just start again. You'll get better at starting over, don't worry about it.

/sig/, I need your help.
I was raised a vegetarian drinking lots of soy milk and continued this well into college.
I only converted to omnivorism recently and I've been trying to get swole, but I'm severely skinnyfat and have ugly soy tits. I look like a complete numale.
How do I get myself out of this mess? I want to be a swole fashy goy

definetly gonna try

just a doubt

>go to bed at 9 every day regardless if you feel like it or not

what if i can't fall sleep? should i keep in bed trying it? bc it can be very frustrating to me being struggle to fall sleep during hours

Hello, hermano!
When I need to adjust my sleep cycle, what I do is go to bed 1 hour later everyday until it's adjusted. It's a mostly seamless progress experience and before you know it you're sleeping in the right time.
Godspeed, irmão.
ps: Pelé is better than Maradona

Don't forget to set an alarm. If you don't allow yourself to sleep in, your body will be tamed into falling asleep quickly at the appropriate time.

It blows my mind how Sup Forums as a whole has embraced Christianity with open arms over the last few years just because it's the edgiest most contrarian thing to do in the culture. It's so fucking embarrassing.

I had problems with my liver and sometimes with my testosterone due to a very stressful 8+ hour office job and shitty food. got some advice from my doctor and did the following:
Zinc pills, Vitamin D pills combined with Vitamin K and Omega 3,Kelp pills(Iodine for your soy-cucked Thyroid) ,get some artichoke pills maybe (to detox your liver), Get Omega 3 pills and take them with Lunch. Get advice from /fit/ maybe.

ill adjust it, thanks

>Christianity is edgy and contrarian

If people wanted to be contrarian and edgy here, they would convert to islamism/satanism user, christianity is everywhere and its the farthest thing from edgy, goat sacrifices, demon ritual chanting and other stuff is edgy, church organ, choir and a lesson of loving one another is as edgy as a wooden door knob.

Does anyone know of any book or videos that can help improve social anxiety? Its gotten to the point that I think people are starting to pick up that something is wrong with me

go to /fit/ u fucking faggots. why is there an autistic lifting thread on this board im looking through and its just delusional faggots thinking they know what they are talking about. wrong board poltards

Hello everyone, I'm really into this self improvement stuff (so much so that I'll be heading to the gym after posting this) but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for art that I should try my best to enjoy before the collapse. I've been reading The Republic and been listening to this youtube.com/watch?v=Ob_nzusrJKE&index=2&list=PLPqygXsBJYchtMLIuTkpaZBpGJVbGuV_P Anyone got any other good recommendations?

Push yourself to exhaustion. If your waking uo tired your obviously not sleeping well enough at night.

So this weekend run yourself ragged. However you like, gym, cycle, jogging, whatever. But do a good physical workout for at least a couple hours.

Eat a healthy, light meal that evening. Drink lots of water ( no booze), and try to avoid electronic screens for 30 minutes prior to bed.

Take either a magnesium tablet or valerian root tablet, and then get ready for the best damn sleep you've had in ages.

I guarantee you will wake up feeling like a legend.

Also Bravo Two Zero is a great book for motivating one to man-up. Good shout OP.

Legs was the best.

Christianity is the reaction Sup Forums has taken to the smug left leaning liberal faggotry that has infected the west. The people who say that Christianity is stupid but the muslims need to be protected

what a fucking tryhard you are, jesus.

I work 72 hours a week in a mine.

>mfw this mine will probably be the death of me

Please take my semen and put it in a deserving white girl please.

get any splinters yet?

>Antifragile - Nassim Taleb.
Read this book, anons.

Algiz and cross on the wall. More cognitive dissonance than most libs.

Reminder to take care of your looks

youtube.com/watch?v=EFnJMPQow7A

Drop soy entirely.

Eat lots of red meat and consume protein equivelent to your current weight daily.

Do compound (ie barbell) exercises and lift heavy. Keep at it.

Don't drink.

Find a gymbro that's near your current physical fitness level, ideally slightly better.

Don't masturbate to porn.

Don't be laxadaisical. Be competitive in whatever it is you do.

Its not as in depth as /fit nor should it be.

It's more of a combination of the better parts of /fit, /pol, /lit, and /out.

You don't have to stay.

What the fuck are these captions?

former skinny fat here

train heavy, target you upper chest to get your pecs some volume and form (do not forget pullovers), also base your diet on proteins and fat to boost your T

If tits are too developed consider visiting a doctor.

Why does the second image have pagan symbol flag and a christian cross hanged on the same wall?
And philosophers that would call one or both of these shit on the library?
And a jar of processed whey protein, when the thread is about hating supermarket food and eating organic? Its even right next to the fertilizer.

>hurr its just meme
No, those are unintentional mistakes by the author, because the ideal you are supposedly striving for doesn't make sense.

>have ugly soy tits
>Drop soy entirely.

Phytoestrogens don’t always mimic estrogens. In some tissues, they actually block the action of estrogen. Breasts are such tissue. In fact the USA government healthcare programmes recommend soy as a means to prevent breast cancer, quoting Harvard research.
This study was also mirrored in China, with again favorable results.

If you know that eating cholesterol (pork, eggs) doesn't translate to higher blood cholesterol, why do you assume that eating phytoestrogens translates into higher estrogen levels?

Guys, how do I deal with my worst vice?

Video games. I have to use my computer to do my work. So every time I open it up the temptation is there. I hate how they drain hours from you and give nothing back but it's addictive at the same time

Video games are entertainment. It gives back entertainment.
You can replace it with other entertainment if you wanted. Watching movies is more normie, try that. Download some TV show.

things i need to work on more
>quitting masturbation, havent lasted more than 24 hours of nofap
>need to have shorter showers, i struggle to have showers less than 10 minutes, its like i have some kind of fear related to hopping out of the shower
>routine exercise, i usually do some push ups, squats and sit ups before bed and when i wake up but when it comes to my treadmill i dont have an actual schedule
>i keep playing video games and surfing the chan instead of studying for my exams that are in 3 weeks

things that have noticeably improved
>started brushing my teeth twice a day for a whole week and they already look whiter, this is after just brushing them maybe 5 times a week at most for years
>have spent more time in the sun, can already see a difference in my skin tone
>diet is really good, just need to pick some multivitamins up from the store and need to eat more protein for breakfast
>have a huge list of books to read once the october uni holidays start
>have been going to bed at a somewhat reasonable time
>increase in exercise and good diet has started to slowly chip away at my skinnyfat belly after years of fast food and little exercise
>feeling good about myself

im feeling really hopeful for all of us guys, i think we are gonna make it as long as we have eachother

So I have double monitors and only a desktop PC. My school focus/grades have not been great this semester.

I'm thinking about buying a shitty laptop and making myself go to campus just to accomplish my schoolwork. A laptop that won't run anything besides CIV when I'm on a plane or some shit.

I haven't bought a laptop previously because I know I would get distracted in class. But I do that anyway on my phone. It might cost me a few hundred bucks but if it saves me $5000 in not flunking my classes this semester it's a worthy investment, right?

What I do is I maroon myself at school so I have to do work or else I do nothing.

I want my entertainment to be rewarding. Like reading books or going to the beach or hiking

reading Startship Troopers right now - it's amazing how underrated this book is, philosophically. I mean I'm shocked at how thought provoking this book ended up being. About half way through and it gets me fired up for the day. Just read the part where the fall of the US is discussed, and about the fallacy of the "unalienable rights" and about our broken justice/punishment system. It's really a great read

...

For most people playing video games is also "rewarding".
Really you mean compelling. The other activities aren't rewarding either.

And if you are doing a hobby you don't find compelling, what the fuck is wrong with you.

Thoughts on crossfit? There's a local gym that has a 6 week body transformation. I see guys who work out there running around the local area and they're in great shape. Some of them go on a run before walking into the gym and doing their workout routine.

Why are Sup Forums so horny with christianity?
Can't you have good morals without it or are you too weak minded? Like wasting your time praying and going to church actually does anything good

Nicotine free e-cig, gives you the illusion of smoking without the harm.

Yes goy rewire your brain with Ambien TM

>>routine exercise

I am not really sure of what other people will think about this, but what I have really been enjoying is the Beachbody Insanity Program.

It's on Pirate Bay. It is 14 days of videos meant for a 60 day program.

>takes an hour a day
>High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
>low impact; doesnt need weights
>good for any range of people, from novice to elite athlete
>the structured nature of the program makes me want to not miss a day

I do this every morning and depending upon how strenous it is, I go to the gym at lunch. I'm in pretty amazing shape now.

It's good to practice on meh chicks I think

Does meditation do anything for you?

What's wrong with porn?

Do mushrooms or other entheogens to combat your smoking habit. Recent studies show it has a >90% success rate to get people to stop smoking.

You're all faggots that trade one evil for another. Beta males are the worst.

Bumping the most important thread on the most important site on the internet.

Here's one of the most important things I do that has such a positive, immediate impact on the way I see the world and do things:

Wake up early. Before dawn. Wake up before everybody else around you. You will feel like it is YOUR day, not like you are waking up into somebody else's day. I used to wake up at like 10 during college and was a sloppy fuck. Now I get up at 5 am and I feel like I have a headstart on everybody. It's a competitive thing, that makes you feel like you already have a competitive advantage on everybody around you. That's the psychological plus. The physical is that it will help you fall asleep naturally around 8-9-10pm. Never go to bed later than 11pm. Anything that happens after midnight is degenerate.

Wake up early. Feel "better" than everybody else. Use that competitive outlook. Fall asleep naturally at a healthy time.

A solid, natural schedule is the first step. Do it. You'll thank me later. Good luck out there anons, bust your fucking ass.
