Academia is supposed to be a homage to western superhero comics. And i havent seen any "Kaboom", "Kablam" and "Blag" sfxes.

This was a planned split cour. It has nothing to do with how well the anime is performing, which it's not doing a good job of.

The tournament would be great for canon filler though, like we saw at USJ with Crowbro and Tailbro

The fight seemed fine to me. In fact the entire season seemed fine.
Everyone complains about the Pacing, Occasional QUALITY, and Animation but honestly it all seemed fine and unnoticeable to me.

That must be why people were worried about it only having 13 episodes for months.

To add on, the pacing seemed to fit perfectly for a show like MHA since there's a lot of exposition/talking. I'd say the only problem is timing of when to end the episode and the first two episodes being Chapter 1.

On QUALITY the only time I noticed it was when Students were panicking when the alarm went off and when the Villains arrived and Siggy's initial appearance through Black mist portal being less than detailed.

With lowered heads his parents ask the 3 heroes to turn him into a good hero
The heroes want to go towards Deku's home, but Bakugou calls them out
Bakugou: "I am... i am your student, All Might."
