Manga better than this

name a manga better than this.
pd: you can't.

go read a book, nerd

gf

Have you tried reading some other author's other stuff?

Onani Master Kurosawa

This defines my only 10/10 at the moment. Don't let the silly pic fool you. It starts out funny but it becomes so much more

...

Punpun is overrated and goes to shit after Aiko comes back

Also Golden Kamui is a 10/10 manga atm

I can't fucking believe the mangaka led us on for all this time just to have her hang herself right before the ending.

Teppu

Pre-Shippuden was top notch

The majority of Sup Forums has read this. At least a couple of years ago, there were threads about it all the time.

narutaru

eden it's an endless world

Is Nijigahara Holograph better than this?

one piece

lol nope

no

> manga better than this
Dead Dead Demon's Dedededestruction.

no argument here.

Yotsuba

Quick question are you 15?

Berserk

That town was full of mental patients, everyone was crazy or a fucking faggot.

dropped this, what a slog to read after a while.
some really nice imagery at the start and middle though.
A better one in my opinion would be the mountain climbing one whose name I've forgotten. But it's really good.

>can't remember the name

>lol guys it was really good

kys

I'm reading Black & White and it's great

Just finished reading Punpun for the first time a couple of days ago, Sachi best girl

It's called Kokou no Hito. And yeah, I thought it to be better as well.

...

Yes I can. This is no way to start a thread. Inio Asano is a good read here and there but he's not the best in the business. He's not the best artist, not the best with plot, not the best with characterization. He just draws crazy people and it's sort of interesting but there is far better manga.

Nausicaa and Lone Wolf & Cub

...

...

there are several that come to mind. I'd say I even enjoyed homunculus more than it, and it's not like I don't have any complaints about homunculus. Not that punpun is bad by any means, but there are better things out there.

What's the one between Maka-Maka and YKK?

Real
Homunculus
Classmate Kamimura Yuuka
Qualia the Purple

That's the one with the outdated freudian psychology, right?

Mitsuami no Kamisama

Thank you.

Journey to the End of the World seems out of place there, as does Palepoli. They have value, they just don't compare to others on the list. I agree with most of it though.

This fucking chapter is heavy.

That's Kami no Kodomo, not Journey.
I agree with you, though. I'd put Devilman and maybe Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei instead of those two.

Pun pun is sort of in its own category because its great but its also extremely depressing

The author behind Homunculus is amazing, one of my absolute favorites. Nice quads, btw.

It's pretty goddamn real considering the author lives in a country where there's no active duty military personnel. I can only imagine he is basing some of this discussion off other books about Iraq/Afghanistan.

Given the filename, did you think he'd have been here long enough to know that?

What the fuck? You bash Punpun then say golden kamui is a 10/10? I know its your opinion but fuck that.

I also highly regard Punpun, but I know that is because I connected with it personally, like I'm sure a lot of people here did.
In terms of actual storytelling the tone jerks around a lot without warning, the Pegasus segments are almost completely worthless, and there are a lot of tangents that only serve to highlight the problems of other characters where it really was not necessary.

I know, which is funny since he said that this is going to be a CGDCT manga.

I was about to start reading it, god damn it.

>Reading spoilers

You brought this upon yourself. But you have my condolences, you'll never experience one of the most affective scenes I've seen.

What's the one between Goggles and A Distant Neighborhood.

>You brought this upon yourself.
Yes, I know don't worry, I'm just angry, I've already read two works of asano Inio satarting with Before dawn, and a girl by the sea.So I know he's good or at least I like his works.

that guys full of shit user, don't worry about it

actually she ends up why are you reading this goddamnit did you not learn a single thing

20th Century Boys was pretty good

the ending was like.....wth is happening

Goshiki no Fune

>Sexy Voice and Robo
How sexy are we talking?

>why are you reading this goddamnit did you not learn a single thing
Curiosity will kill me.

Thank you.

Waters, Kokou no Hito, Vagabond.

Molester Man. Easy 10/10. Most relatable and believable drama of all time.

Wow that was hard OP.

...

When the fuck are we going to get movie rips?

>thinking you can break overall ability down to talent in individual areas
You sound like a prick.

You don't even need to look that far away.
Also Steel Ball Run is pretty amazing too

I dropped PunPun, because I couldn't make myself care about any of the characters, and I made it like 40 chapters in, so it's not like I dropped it that quickly. Anyway, Lone Wolf and Cub is great.

I don't remember her bringing Punpun to her room or the other way around.

okay

i believe it was a hospital bed

t. butthurt emo who doesn't recognize a good story when he sees one

I read the whole thing but they're right, all of the characters are uninteresting

>t.
Back to Sup Forums, faggot.

Objectively, this manga was a near masterpiece, but I fucking hate it with a burning passion purely for how shit it made me feel. I read manga to escape my shitty life, I don't want to wallow in even more despair.

Objectively Punpun is mediocre at best. The fact that you think of it as a masterpiece does nothing but reveal your low powerlevel.

>objectively

No, you talked shit about Golden Kamui to defend a shitty manga like Punpun so I'm gonna stay here

>you
Just because I don't like crossboarders bringing their cancerous memes here doesn't mean I'm the same guy you were talking to.
Golden Kamui's like a 7/10, anyway.

and pun pun is an 8/10

Punpun made me mad because Sup Forums thinks Punpun deserved Aiko for some crazy reason. Not only this but he ruins her life and pretty much got away with it. Truly infuriating.

>punpun is 8/10
>Golden kamui is 7

Please tell me more about your shitty taste user. Why is punpun better than golden kamui when it's emo trash with a plot that shits itself midway and ends up with a whore hanging herself because she's a human trash

Kamui wishes it was Pun and fails

Be happy you got a 7/10 at least

>Kamui wishes it was Pun and fails

Oh ok you were just talking shit for talking shit. You got me

this

Punpun was nothing more than a depressive wankfest where everything is bad for no reason.

That's an accurate portrayal of life, kiddo.

Some great titles but Dorororo? really? I enjoyed it very much but the last volume is just so bad compared to the great start.

I hope that page isn't supposed to make me want to read this.

Aiko represents everyone's idealised childhood love that was doomed to slip away from them.
It took Aiko's death for Punpun to grow up, but most of Sup Forums never will.

No, it's not. It's "glorifying" the idea of how depressing life is. Punpun still got the girl, but it came at a price. Everybody in the manga was purposely created to be shitty people. The only person that I can think of that was a "normal" person was Punpun's uncle's fiance.

I really wish I grew up in whatever naive land you're from.

this

Onani master Kurosawa.

I grew up in low-class Arizona. I understand that the world can be a shitty place, but things do look up if people try hard enough. I'm not unfamiliar to hard times, I just accept the fact that the world is what I make it. Punpun had a lot of depressing moments because he let the hard times pummel him. I could empathize with his character, but his decisions go so far in the negative that it became harder and harder to do so.

Luicfer and the Biscuit Hammer.

>I'm not unfamiliar to hard times, I just accept the fact that the world is what I make it.
These are not hard times.

They don't have to be.

His school crush killed herself. It's not exactly another Tuesday for him either.

Because it wasn't yet another shitty food comedy, mixed with a half-assed adventure plot and random ethnography lessons?

it's the one based on an obviously ridiculous 'scientific' theory about being able to awaken the sixth sense which surprise surprise actually works

no kidding. Koroshiya Ichi is a different kind of insane compared to Homunculus, but still insane nevertheless.

I feel like Vagabond shouldn't be on there before it finishes. Plenty of good series get fucking ruined by a single bad final arc, after all.
