This comic has a point...

in b4 "This was on Reddit OMG". No one cares what you inbred Russian faggots think.

All of Google and the NFL deserves the rope.

>disrespecting the United States of America in front of millions of people
>logically laying out issues within a company and sharing it with co-workers

Did you even read his paper?

Niggers shouldn't have rights

It does have a point but one has to have NO moral compass at all to NOT see the issue with the NFL. It's the most popular sport of the greatest nation in the world at the moment, youth will be watching too, not only we old heads

>abusing
>exercising
woah.................

No one cares what you russian niggers think

Weak shilling. Does your mother know what you do all day long? Would you like her to know?

I laughed at that.
Journalists use the same charges language to inject an agenda.

False equivalence. One involved a guy that wrote a paper with actual sources and solutions on how to make both genders excel given biological conclusions from the sources he cited. He was then fired because he wasn't an SJW basically and a bunch of SJWs got offended.

The NFL is a bunch of people who are protesting fake causes (Sorry but black people are far from oppressed despite what Gapernick wants to believe) and wasting everyone's time. We want to watch a game, not a bunch of people making seven figures a year for doing basically nothing whine about how oppressed they think people are while donating absolutely zero of their dollars to helping them.

Fixed it for you user

>Google and the NFL should be executed

NFL needs to die and something else fill the hole

Google needs to be broken up

>abusing
>exercising
Leftist memes

First thing I noticed

Google can ultimately fire whoever they want, what's your point?

If you agree with leftists you'd find that firing honorable and firing of these NFL athletes despicable, and vice versa. There is no contradiction, or hypocrisy here.

>Did you even read his paper?

The version most people read (skimmed) said that all his claims were unsourced and then omitted all the sources he cited. :^)

no point.
>1) the NFL is receiving government, tax payer subsidies. Google is too, but Damore's statement was private.
>2) the NFL is currently engaged in censoring all forms of right-wing and conservative political statements made during games. they wouldn't allow the dallas cowboys to show support for the 5 cops taht were killed by BLM last year. and that's just one example. there have been a slew of others, even including things as insignificant as one player wanting to wear pink cleets because his mom died of breast cancer.
>3) Liberals are the ones displaying hypocrisy. they were defending googles right to fire Damore over a PRIVATE MEMO sent on a PRIVATE SERVER that was specifically set up for such discussions.
>4) who ever made this meme used the phrase "abusing his 1st amendment rights". there is no such thing as "abusing his first amendment rights". it was a freudian slip. essentially the obviously leftist maker of the meme slipped up and revealed that he totally supported the firing of james damore and doesn't actually care about freedom of speech. so who is the real hypocrite?

and the other side does the same hypocritical bull shit from an opposite perspective. its nothing

Google has been heavily influenced by direct intervention from our government.

When our government has helped them obtain have the power to manipulate what is allowed to go out and be revived on the Internet, they need to be controlled.

As for the NFL, they can do what ever they want. but they must remember that there job is to be an entertainer. If you are not entertaining and proving as a means of escapism, you are not doing your job and should be fired.

They have a contract which obliges most players to stand during the anthem. The team owners can fire them since they breached the contract. The Google guy had no such contract.

Standing during national anthem is a part of soprtfag's job, it what their audience expect the to do. Violation of professional etiquette is not the same thing as expressing an opinion.

I unironically agree with the pic in OP's post.

The fact that anybody gives a shit about it either way is fascinating.

>"but m-m-muh flag ! Muh anthem!"
Seriously? You guys are literally the right wing equivalent of SJWs. How weak and fragile can you be that someone kneeling in front of a flag triggers you, makes you throw a hissy fit and demand they get fired?

You guys and SJWs are two sides of the same coin.

If you believe that google shouldn't have fired that guy for using his free speech, then you can't say the NFL should fire them for doing the same. Be logically consistent.

Even if you don't agree with the kneeling you shouldn't be so fucking emotionally reactionary and realize that its about setting a precedent and establishing a certain culture around the issue of free speech in this country that we should be able to use our free speech and not get fired from our jobs just for having certain values and beliefs, assuming they don't interfere with actual job performance.

Neither Google nerds nor dindus should be fired for expressing their first amendment rights.
That said, if people really have an issue with Google or the NFL, they should stop patronizing those organizations.
This really isn't that difficult.

You could just as easily flip it around and argue that if some Google employee should be fired for exercising his right to free speech then those NFL player should be as well.

Nice use of language by the way, abusing vs exercising?

Clearly you care what we think, you posted it here.

>inbred
What an jdlamohpobic insult

Yeah, this is exactly the type of stuff you would find on Reddit. Thank you so much for sharing OP

We can be logically consistent when the enemy is crushed.

>that backwards hat

I think the point behind the Google manifesto guy was that them firing him proved his point.

I'm not aware of anyone crying first amendment bout it.

?? :D ??

No one is suggesting anyone in the NFL be "fired", just that they learn to understand what free speech is, and what it means. It does not mean that because it is an unpopular opinion you don't get to say it...or they would be fired. It means that you can say something unpopular and suffer the public scrutiny.

Also it's the left who is claiming first amendment privileges with the NFL when it's a non-government entity

Leftie, non-SJW here.

Google is in their right to fire someone for any reason what so ever (as long as it isn't a protected class).

The NFL is in their right to fire anyone for any reason what so ever (as long as it isn't a protected class).

Google employee is in his right to express his opinion how he sees fit. Firing has nothing to do with it.

NFL employees can do as they see fit as well. If they get fired for it, so be it.

This is what it means to have first amendment rights.

You have a right to your opinion. You do not have a right to represent your company with that opinion.

this, these are too completely different issues at no point did james damore disrespect the nation or anyone, he laid the out the logical ground work for why diversity programs are a waste of money, the nfl kneelers are just a bunch of whiny millionares

I don't think they should be fired in either scenario, but the NFL players are a bunch of spoiled assholes who are only able to make the bloated salaries that they do playing a fucking sports game because they live in America, the land they are now disrespecting. Maybe they'd like to try and have their glamorous careers in Africa.

The fact you think pol is a bunch of ruskis is actually embarrasing. Reddit scum indeed.

Sup Forums is russias bitch, the prevailing views here have all been subverted to serve russian geopolitical interests

This. Companies fire people if it damages the brand, this has to do with their business and profit, not with muh first amendment.

>t. a jew

>one person talking to his coworkers about their mandatory diversity training shit
vs
>people costing a company millions of dollars
Damore should not have been fired. The SJW crazies who lied about his document should have been fired. Those people were causing bad PR for Google by flat out lying about their coworker.
If you work for a company and some crazy blue haired freaks start calling you a nazi and then run off to Buzzfeed to slander you for their millions of readers, they are the ones who should be fired.
