Also known as "Look Who's Back," "Er ist wieder da" is a late 2015 German comedy-drama featuring a what-if scenario revolving around Adolf Hitler, who, for some inexplicable reason, time travels and wakes up in modern Berlin, Germany. I think the film is the funniest dictator comedy since Charlie Chaplin's "The Great Dictator," filled with wacky antics that often feel more like "Downfall" / "Der Untergang" parodies than that actual film, which was played straight as a war drama. As for the political perspective of "Er ist wieder da," it is intended to be a cautionary tale against the return of Hitler into public life and influencing modern politics, as Hitler in the movie develops quite a surprising following. However, it is also intended to warn against people like him, a perspective erroneously tied to Donald Trump, Marine Le Pen, Geert Wilders, and other politicians focused on a protective mindset for European economic and societal interests, rather than continuously and with no end in sight, allowing a flow of unassimilible foreigners. For these reasons, the film director and producers, as well as the book author, may be biased, yet it is possible that the film has the unintended consequence of introducing normal filmgoers and home viewers to positive aspects of far right thinking, if one could see past the whole idea of Hitler, for a moment.
What do you think of "Er ist wieder da"?

Brings the feels.
10% of Germans say they want the Fuhrer back
I think it's pretty neutral. You can either interpret it as
>beware of nationalism and another hitler, you need to be good goy
or
>you politicians suck, look what's happening, it's getting bad, everyone think it's bad, and if you don't start to listen to the people and abandon those stupid utopian projects, even small spark will be enough to change things
or
>people fall for charismatic people, (ideology doesn't matter, really)
or just
>media have huge influence and have consequences
Eventually that human nature prevails and history repeats itself.
hell i want him back!
Was an amusing watch. The end/credits were shit when it goes full "OMG Europe is turning fascist, accept migrants NOW", but there were many scenes where I wondered if the filmmakers weren't playing it straight and disguising it as satire.
I do recommend any pollack to watch it.
Really Bohemia?
For some stupid reason burgers think it is pro Nazi, like Der Untergang. Er ist wieder da was an anti-nazi, typical nu Cuckmanian propaganda hit piece whose launch was timed with the local election in which AfD could come into a federal government for the first time, to remind us that HE is everywhere. HE is in everyone. And HE will be back and kill the six gorillion, even if you vote for people who sounds reasonable and who you might happen to agree with.
now europe is never going to be a superpower again! We are slowly going to destroy ourself, with germans under merkel leading the charge! We where parts of an empire, now we are a slowly diying state.
Agree, our countries need great leaders again.
The film is subtly quite redpilled.
Thought it was gonna be a complete mockery, but there were a few good hidden eggs in there.
>Final scene rooftop conversation.
Very good movie.
Its so disgusting seeing european not expand our power, not seeking consolidating or a strong allinance against both jew controlled burgers and russians or even chinese.
Helps normalize far right ideas
>germans under merkel
>germans leading the charge
Yeah sure, whatever you say: youtube.com
>Vote the opposition, vote Schulz goyim!
>Or the party the entire political-media complex shilled against 24/7 for two years - and which is still zionist controlled opposition in the end.
you are an idiot if you belive i advocate for for voting schulz.
And you're an idiot, if you didn't understand my post.
whats not to understand? Yes we know schulz is not real opposition, we know jews have thier hand in things. Whats your point?
Alright until the preachy ending. Book was better.
also varg is an idiot! In germany it perfectly normal to have more than two terms! There was/is no viable opposition in germany.
Varg is something else. He has some good points, and is an expert at survival, apparently, although I see his worldview as a blackpilled one, mostly. He promotes primitivism while other civilizations advance further. Quite foolish, I think. I am not on board with Odinist Paganism, as I am a Christian.
This was the worst Hitler impersonation I have ever seen.
Why was it so bad? I think he did better than most attempts, falling short of the one in Downfall a bit. Maybe even tied.
It was alright. The ending was a little convoluted, I thought, in the way it was portrayed. But it was ok to watch. A lot of funny parts.
One of my favorite lines;
News executive: "We agree Jews are not a funny subject?"
Hitler: "Yes indeed, Ma'am." (with huge grimace.)
Eh it's not bad, but it's not really red pilling for normies because they go "wtf i kind of like hitler now! I need to remember to hate hitler more tomorrow."
What is ''our civilization''? The elite's civilization is not our civilization.
Have I got news for you
