Just finished NHK,and jesus christ, this show does a cool thing where it hits you harder the more of a NEET you are. Why doesn't this show get more love on here?

because it's forced and unrealistic?

It did when it came out. However, NHK doesn't provide an escapist fantasy or cute girls of other series. It's an extreme look at [some of] Sup Forums's lifestyle.

>forced
Nice meme. This isnt anohana where a ghost from 10 years ago is the reason everyone is sad. Anxiety does things yo, as far as anime goes, its not forced, MC just had autsim.
>unrealistic
again, anime. Did you watch the show? Each one of those characters mindsets and actions are super justified by wither their past, or their current situation. Nice try.

That exactly what i was thinking. The lack of moeblobs probably doesn't gel well with neo Sup Forums. That answered my question, thanks man.

>Why doesn't this show get more love on here?
People talk it about it all the time. You're just new.

It already gets lot of love, lurk more.

It gets a thread almost every fucking day, man. Come on.

relife is the new neet anime

new new new new new new new

Because the majority of it is boring

>Why doesn't this show get more love on here?
l u r k m o a r

NHK really hit me in the feels. I got depressed after I finished it. Every now and then I rewatch it (and still get depressed)

nah. senpai was hot as fuck. it's a shame they never did anything.

Oh yeah this show is popping off all the time on Sup Forums. I must have missed that secret thread yestrday, my bad.

Don't trigger neo/a/, they just want their moeblob-fueled fan service animations

because it gets plenty of love on /r9k/ every Friday.

Most of the threads don't get archived and desustorage is hardly reliable. stick around more it'll pop up in waves.

Theme of the thread:

No shut up i don't wont to feel, I want to see the Keions.

have you not been here long enough to have seen a NHK thread?

don't feel bad though, the first thing anyone does after watching the show for the first time is make a thread.

liked it in high school but looking back it's /r9k/ level wish fulfillment

unless the watcher can relate it's boring and really shitty melodrama

K-on is more traumatic to watch than Welcome to the NHK.

That requires further elaboration as inquiring anons want to know.

Not only are you new, you're stupid.

>Why doesn't this show get more love on here?
lurk for 2 years before posting you dumb summershit

This is amazing. Looking for someone inferior to make yourself feel better. Sounds like a show i watched recently.

I'm not going to spoil the show.

>nice meme
the whole action is built around a relationship between people. I get that's for entertainment, doesn't change the fact it's forced.
>anxiety
If mc reacted realistically, he wouldn't have opened the door.
>nice try
the anime is constantly switching mc's mindsets and possible diseases, making him a neet, a hiki or just slightly antisocial if the action needs that. The outcome simply can't be taken seriously.

All yall niggas talking about being new and you cant even follow Rule 1.
>All images and resulting discussion should pertain to anime or manga.

MODS

The show was alright, I rewatch it once every year or so. Yamazaki is best girl.

chippoke na sekai nano ni

Did you know that realistically, people are dynamic and react differently to different situations. Being a NEET and a Hiki go hand in hand, and coupled with his anxiety, it makes the situation worse.
Opened the door in which scene? Most of the show people just barge into his house anyway, but if its the scene when they first meet, its only after a huge internal dialogue about who could be on the other side. Sure no plot device is perfect, but it worked, as far as the progression of the story goes. Its a little hammy at points but with a drama its hard not to be.

I enjoyed the fact it had a realistic outcome. His friends all left and had good lives. He has a shitty job and a headcase girlfriend.

Secondary fuck off

Kills yourself newfag

>after a huge internal dialogue about who could be on the other side
Anxiety is not a reasonable pattern of thinking, it's a disease. Being a hiki usually goes hand in hand with a disease, a neet is just a person who is "Not in Education, Employment, or Training". You can't overcome a disease by having "a huge internal dialogue". The plot was forced through different situations and the core of it was the action itself, not mc's process of thinking, that's what makes the anime unrealistic.

fucking her is the sole reason he turned to be a hikkiNEET

>Why doesn't this show get more love on here?
It does, actually. It is a masterpiece after all.

Baito desu.

Purupuru pururin pururin

>Why doesn't this show get more love on here?
I'm sure you realize now that you just need to lurk more. While youre lurking, you should pick up the LN because it is a more complete and better story than the animu without the filler.

Where can I get the LN? (I live in a banana republic)

I have the PDF. Point me to a site I can upload it to without registration, and I'll upload.

>banana republic
What, they ban torrents there? Use proxies and then torrent.

I miss the days when I was a NEET and could relate to Satoru.

The way you see him at the end, fucking sad and working a shit dead end job, that's me now. I'm only working for the fucking money, but when I go home I don't even enjoy my free time anymore.

What's the point.

you could always go to the Mc'donalds and blow your brains out in the ball pit of the play place
they never clean that shit toddlers will be finding pieces of your brain for years

We used to talk about it all the time, and I remember seeing daily threads.

It was a pretty good show, but there are certainly parts that were a bit too stupid (e.g., going along with suicide island guys and the pyramid scheme) that diminish my overall enjoyment of the show.

One of the most annoying things about the series is the self-insert fans, however. And I have to roll my eyes 99% of the time when I see "why doesn't Sup Forums talk about this series" posts, especially when you're talking about an extremely well-known series. You're not special or unique.

Puzzle is a GOAT OP.

What bothers you about the pyramid scheme and suicide island arcs? I thought there was a very good explaination for how Sato gets into both situations.

It's a bit stupid that he's actually willing to go through with the suicide that feels stupid to me, and not how he got himself onto the island to begin with. I know there might be some group psychological factor at play, but it really broke my suspension of disbelief. And the pyramid scheme also came off that way, even if his psychological state might have made him more susceptible to falling for it.

Alright, you really haven't explaines yourself at all, but okay user.

*explained

Satou is a fucking mess of a person, and deeply unhappy.

I can buy that he would get mixed up in something like that.

What is hard to understand? I'm saying his behaviors are incredibly stupid, even for a depressed person. And as I said, it's not like I'm dismissing the fact that his depression doesn't play a role, but it still just feels like bad cheap drama.

But you've given no reason as to why those actions are unreasonable. Even smart people fall for pyramid schemes, it's completely reasonable that someone like Sato would.
The suicide is a bit out of nowhere but the dude was already suicidal in the first place.

Love this show but the moral was retarded like this episode when the mc try to kill himself the reason to not do that is what? Think about your family you selfish fuck, of course this is important but holy fuck how stupid is that ?
Or at the end the moral is basicly : you need to become a slave and work everyday every minute every second to save yourself.

they're both anime-added filler arcs that fit in thematically but make it feel less realistic

>unrealistic

found the NEET

You haven't explained how either one is unrealistic.

they're not unrealistic on taken on their own, it's just the idea that one single person goes through every neet-related malady one after the other makes the show less realistic as a character drama. I'm not really complaining though I'd rather have some decent filler arcs than all the shitty 12 episode shows we get these days

There's no suggestion that each takes place right after another. I'm sure there's some sort of time skip between arcs.

>it hits you harder the more of a NEET you are. Why doesn't this show get more love on here

People become NEET weeaboos because they can't stand getting hit hard

Wait, there's no NEET on Sup Forums right?

no we're all rich successful salarymen posting on our iphones during work breaks

...

>unless the watcher can relate
>wish fulfillment

Self-insert fags need to kill themselves now for the better of the community
