The choreography is fine, the problem is that Sephirot is supposed to not care. Since he can just parry every single blow with a flick of his sword it looks just like a fight scene from the Star Wars prequels.

I could get behind him being able to parry every blow with just a flick of his wrist, but when the attackers react like the parry too had no force behind it, it just looks shitty. Consider where you see another lightning speed parry, only the force of it knocks the other guy back.

Not that guy, but swords of that size are supposed to have weight and the webms make them look like paper mache sticks that don't hit anything solid. And even if we assume they have superhuman strength they have work around with the momentum of the force they themselves produce.
Plus for someone who has done fencing for a short while it looks like Sephiroth is really shitty at maintaining his range, since he has a human sized sword and they constantly keep getting at punching range.
