ITT: Favorite song

Pick your number one, absolute favorite song related in any official capacity to an anime. If undecided, state all that apply.

At the moment, mine would have to be "Everything You've Ever Dreamed", preformed by Arianne, part of the Evangelion franchise.

Do you have autism, why are you writing like that?

>implying we're not all Sup Forumsutists by posting here.

You're not getting any song recommendations from me, son

Good to know...?

Fuck off with your rec thread, newfag.

Probably either JOINT or triangle from Shakugan no Shana

Not asking for recommendations. Just curious about popular opinion on Sup Forums. Of course, you won't believe me, anyway.

That's what all metafags say.

Maybe I can break this down for you:

Bloody Stream

It's too catchy.

Well, shit. Looks like unicode doesn't work here. Just about ruined my evening.

I actually hated Bloody Stream starting out since it sounded so different from the Phantom Blood OP. Had to warm up to it.

And a couple from Welcome to the NHK's OST that I can't find. But, when you're talk about full OST's, Mushishi's is probably my favorate.

>You can wait a million years and find that heaven's still far away from you
>Love's just a thing others do

Same here. In fact if it wasn't accompanied by the insanely stylish OP, I would probably never have listened to it enough to enjoy it.

Sup Forums theme song?

Life theme song.

chorus gives me chills every fucking time

why is supercell so godtier

Mmmm. Shit man, this is a bit tough.

I guess I'd have to say either "The Real Folk Blues" from Cowboy Bebop...or..."Dress (Bloody Trinity Mix)" from Trinity Blood ("Dress" has the added bonus of getting me into Buck-Tick, now one of my favorite bands of all time).

best part of the show

oops

You can really feel the misery, I love it.

You think that's depressing, try Anno's original lyrics. wiki.evageeks.org/Everything_You've_Ever_Dreamed

Basically the entire FLCL soundtrack. That soundtrack just does shit to my feels

I don't know if I have a favorite as I love almost every song from *monogatari, as well as songs, themes, and other music inserts in other shows. Space Dandy had some fantastic montage songs. That's the problem with a visual/audio medium. A song that may get forgotten by itself now has emotional imagery tied with it making it stick that much more.

>mfw I realize this song is about Asuka

Hikaru Nara has the most plays, and I'd say it is probably my favourite.

>tfw 90's electronic

99% of my music library is stuff from video games and anime, which I would have ignored if there wasn't a memory attached to each of them.

serious question, are there any americans that make music like this? i dont know how to describe it. I feel like contemporary latino music does have some music like these. But not sure about american.

There are so many OPs/EDs I listened to in music threads and didn't like that I ended up loving once I heard them in the show. An emotional link really does make a huge difference, especially when it's paired with appropriate visuals.

One example for me is Stray, which I thought sounded like lame dad rock before I watched Wolf's Rain. It kept getting posted in threads and I listened to it multiple times, but never liked it. Now I love it, and it's the sort of song I listen to alone at night in my car when I'm feeling melancholy and want to exacerbate it with the thought of dead wolf people.

It's actually about Anno

Go on, call me a fag, I'm waiting

If we're talking original pieces only then my pick would be Wo Qui Non Coin

sounds like sting or bono

I wish that I could turn back time
