The motive was described by a John poster on semptember 10th, to encourage passing laws in nevada that would require casinos along with many other establishments to have certain preventative scanners installed, purchased by OSI and colluded by a casino owner, making OSI rich in the process.
When i first read those john posts I thought it was bullshit because i knew it woudn't work and negligently assumed (((they))) wouldnt try something so stupid, but in the immediate aftermath of the event, the Wynn hotel started searching through peoples belongings and checking people at the door creating a 10 minute line-up to get in, trickling communer traffic for them to a fucking crawl as much as the TSA does for passengers at airports.
With enough of a picture of the event itself to determine multiple parties were involved beyond what happened from Paddocks hotel room, along with this Wynn bullshit and John's predictive posts, you can build together the picture that it truly was their plan to kill people to sell fucking scanners and increase security.
But I'm still not wrong in knowing it wont work, because if the Wynn is any indication, all the hotel casinos on the strip doing this would ruin the vacation funtime image of vegas by making it as totalitarian and uncomortable as an airport in stark contrast to their "resort" ideaology of fun and relaxation and freedom which would decrease tourism and profits, harming the casinos more than doing anyone any good. Since casinos account for more than 6 billion dollars a year of revenue for Nevada, they also would have ZERO issue in insuring such a law requiring these devices and intrusive methods could never ever be passed. They have a lot of money and a lot of power and no wish to undercut themselves by ruining customer satisfaction.
